When we first brought our newly adopted rabbit in for her first check up we saw Dr. Felrice. He is such a nice guy and took that time to show us how to handle her since it has been a while since my last bunny (when I was in grade school). About a week after her visit, she began sneezing. I called Dr. Felrice and he was able to prescribe medication (it appeared to be kennel cough or "sniffles") over the phone, so I didnt have to pay an $80 fee to bring her in twice in two weeks. A few months later he was to perform a routine spay on our adult rabbit. During surgery, he found a major anomaly with her anatomy that eventually could have killed her. He spent the extra time during surgery to remove several cysts and to ensure that she would have a long, healthy, life with us. The surgery did cost more than we had anticipated, but Dr. Felrice still kept it affordable and within reason. We were very grateful that he did the additional work to make sure that she would be okay. He also called us several times during her recovery at home to check on her and gave us a number to contact him directly. Everyone else at the hospital is so nice. We bring our bunny in about every 3-4 months for a nail trim and once a year for an actual check up. The vet techs love her. The staff are great about making last minute appointments and Ive always been seen ON TIME. Any other family pet we adopt will be coming here!

Ive been going to Dr. Giebel for years - since 1979. I love this clinic and Dr. Giebel so much Ive driven from DC and across the county to continue using them. Dr. Giebel once delayed his vacation to take care of my dying pet. He is very knowledgable, has the latest equipment including a lazer for surgeries (thinks its better for the pet than a scalpel). After a surgery he always calls in the evening to check up on your pet. He even gave me his home phone and told me to call him in the middle of the night. Hes a great vet and I just love the staff. They are all friendly and kind and helpful. Most times, appointments run on time and they get you in and out in a timely fashion. However, you never feel rushed while with123 the doctor who spends the time he needs to examin your pet. The facility is big, clean and is always being upgraded. Its also a nice enviornment to wait - bright - and lots of seating. I cant say enough about how much my family relies on Dr. Giebel and his staff. We trust him with our pets and that says a lot!

My ball python had an abcess on her head/nose area and had stopped eating for months. Dr. Felrice worked within the budget my wife and I had and fixed her with a surgery to empty the abcess. He and the staff were quite nice and accomodating. We were given some AB shots to give at home, and even though the doc said her nose would have a small scar, its been 4 months, and a couple of sheds later, and you would never know she had any surgery at all! Shes even eating again after 6-7 months of fasting (due to the stress I think). I felt like he and most of the staff (one woman didnt seem to like snakes lol) genuinely cared about her well being. I will definitely return if the need arises.

Fantastic, friendly and incomparable to any other vet in the area. I was referred to the Quince Orchard vet hospital by a friend and I worked with Dr.Megan. She helped me through one of the toughest events of my life and I have nothing but fantastic things to say about her, the owner of the hospital and their entire team. The front desk staff was compassionate and understanding as well.. and I even received a phone call that evening to make sure I was okay. I am forever grateful and thankful that I found this hospital and I highly recommend them to anyone seeking a vet who treats you like a real person and not just a paycheck. Definitely worth taking your pets here! Sarah

After 24 years living in Montgomery County, I have finally found a vet, Dr. Anspaugh, who is a great listener, kind and patient with my anxious cat, and when he discovered a problem another vet readily should have identified, he tactfully avoided even implying as much. My cat was very sick and he identified a readily treatable condition that should have been identified and I was so grateful, relieved, embarrassed to have neglected to find proper care for my cat, and angry about the prior care my cat received. The office is so professional, clean, friendly and welcoming to freaked out pet owners. HIGHLY recommend this service and Dr. Anspaugh in particular.

THEY SEE ALL KINDS OF PETS and one of the only ones around who do. (Rats and other small mamals, Birds, Snakes) Theyre set up for surgery/ ultra sounds if you need something intensive but are a norm every day care group that likes to focus on preventive care. Dr.s are GREAT, caring and call personally to follow up on pets, and even our son when we had to euthanize. They were very sensitive and cast paw prints to keep which for him was a big deal. Ive never had to wait long, office staff organized and plesant. Seems a bit pricy to me compared to other places Ive lived but maybe thats standard here, either the way its been worth the extra drive and money

We began taking our two dogs to this practice several years ago. Their services are expensive, which I would not mind if the care was outstanding. It is not. Our dog developed a tumor caused by his getting his vaccinations in the same spot. We paid for the surgery to remove the tumor and the biopsy of the tumor which confirmed that the tumor was caused by the vaccinations in the same spot. We never got an apology or a refund of the expensive surgical bill. I never felt that our pets were important to the veterinarians. They were just dollar signs. You can do better. I have changed vets and I could not be happier.

Dr. Giebel and company have been my vet since 1991. They have assisted in the care and keeping of my canine and feline family throughout their lives, always with a holistic view not only to the animals health but the overall well-being of the family and the pets role in that family. When its come time for my pets to pass on (as they do) Dr. Giebel and his team have proven superlative not only in their medical treatments, but also in advice, caring, and compassion. When each of my labs passed away (at 13 and 13.5 years, respectively), I received a handwritten note(!) Where else do you find that these days? Five stars.

This is the best veterinary practice I have ever been to! I have 2 dogs, a bird, 1 cat. Dr. Giebel saved my cockateils life about 7 yrs ago; he worked with my cat who, after a number of health issues, ended up with cancer and ultimately we had to put him to sleep, but through the process, i received excellent service, compassion, daily phone calls in the eve from the Dr. to check on my kitty, and they have worked with me on making payments monthly. I have seen Dr. Giebel, Dr. Megan Giebel, and Dr. Amspaugh.. All have been excellent. All the staff are very nice. Would not ever go anywhere else.
