Great doctors. Ive been taking my dogs here for many years. The pricing has been good but Ive heard rates have risen. Usually this place has been good. Especially compared to other nearby vets like Seneca Hill Animal Hospital. One thing to be aware of is the dude who puts the labels on the medications has screwed up multiple times causing me to give wrong amounts of medication to my dog. I was pissed and let them know. I was told they took care of the issue. Hasnt happened again but I always check what drugs Im given and compare the labels to what the doctor wrote down. Edit 12/15/16 - they screwed up with the instructions on the medicine bottle again! Luckily I read the bottle and noticed the guy got the antibiotics dosage backwards and called him out on it... so I stand by my review... great doctors but idiots at the front desk..

When you visit Great Falls Animal Hospital you are greeted with smiles from everyone at the desk..and treated like you are their only patient. The staff is very knowledgeable and cannot do enough for you to make you comfortable. The Doctors are all very kind, very knowledgeable and always available to speak with you. They treat all their "patients" with care. compassion and love. Making appointments are just so simple. It requires just a phone call and they will accommodate your schedule.. should you have an emergency, they will have you come in. I have had experience with many of the Vets in the area and there is no comparison...Great Falls is the best!!! I highly recommend them....All the Doctors are excellent. Dr Cook takes care of Bernie Katz, my 4 legged baby and we love her!!

Dr. Garrood is very detail oriented and very thorough. She answered all my questions and then some. She also educated me and has been very helpful. Everyone at the front desk has been very friendly and polite too. All around every experience is quite pleasant. I feel empowered as a guardian knowing I have someone who will help me with my dogs and cat. I would disregard reviews that complain about cost. They dont hide anything from anyone. Its up to us to do our due diligence and ask how much things cost and what the process is for things. Also, theyre in Great Falls so I dont know why anyone would be surprised by their prices. I also dont think many people dont realize no one becomes a vet to get rich. Many offices make enough to stay open and pay everyone.

I continue to be very happy and impressed with the expertise and professionalism of Great Falls Animal Hospital. My cat was in last week to have his thyroid removed - a tricky surgery because the parathyroid gland, which is on top or imbedded in the thyroid gland is in danger of being "hurt" during the surgery. Dr. Snellgrove did a terrific job and my cat is his old self with no ill effects to the parathyroid glands. My other cats have had surgery at Grt. Falls Hospital in the past and have always had positive outcomes and have received great care! I highly recommend Grt. Falls Animal Hospital!

I so enjoy every visit I have made to Great Falls Animal Hospital. The staff is wonderful and so caring. (Unfortunately my cats are not positive cats when they need to go) but I have a great time. I most of the time see Dr. Cleland but any interaction is wonderful! I had to put a cat to sleep there and I (and my cat) were treated with so much respect and care. If it can be stated the passing of Princess was easier because of the staff there. I still have Bailey and continue to go to see Dr. Cleland (spelling it might be Cleeland) and am treated so well there...It makes the visit a pleasure!

The people at Great Falls Animal Hospital are the best. They are always there for me. When my current Airedale was only a few years old I spilled my blood pressure medicine on the floor. He quickly ate 3 of them. I called and then headed to Great Falls. Within 40 minutes his stomach was pumped. After a call to my pharmacy it was determined that only 3 pills were lost, but all 3 were found. Even though I hate to have to pay for shots and regular checkups, I do not skip them. I have checked and Great Falls is a reasonable provider for this area. Love Them! They saved my dogs life!!

In past year this vet went from fantastic to poor. They have been grooming and caring for our Collie for 6 years beautifully, but he just came back with his mane sheared and his legs and belly shaved sloppily. I cried when I found all the skin burns and nicks. In our previous visit they had asked if we wanted his teeth cleaned without mentioning this was a $1000 surgical procedure. Shame on us for not asking. This visit, 6 months later, they were pushing us to have them cleaned again. Maybe these were both anamolies, but we are not going to take the chance.

I have had great experience with care for my dogs here over the past years. Weve used two different vets here since the first left to go into practice with his Dad. With both my rescue girl dogger (mix) and my current little man (Papillon) these folks have been caring, effective, and efficient. My girl had several surgeries here as well as routine and follow-up care. She just couldnt overcome her last problem. She was a fighter until the end and these folks helped her in her fight and helped me through the issues. I cant recommend them highly enough.

The staff and doctors show love and concern for their animal patients. The doctors take as much time as needed so you understand all your options for treating your pet. They do not push any treatment but make sure you understand the options available. Ive been going to Great Falls now over 10 years now and they have helped me get through some very rough times with my pets. I travel from Falls Church to Great Falls because I trust them that much with the care of my pets.

My pets have been clients here since we moved to VA 5 years ago. There is always a great vet available when we need it. Ive always received sound advice from them and trust their judgement. Im especially partial to Dr Garood who has a huge heart and is kind, gentle and patient - shes had to give standard care to my pets as well as (unfortunately) put some down. She never varies from her pleasant nature. I recommend this place for great care.

Great Falls Animal Hospital is great. All the staff and Doctors have been taking excellent care of Max for 10 1/2 years. I would recommend it to anyone who needs a great caring vet. We lost Max last August. But we now have a new 1 year dog we just rescued. I took him for his first checkup and would not think of taking him anywhere else. The staff took excellent care of Max and I am sure they will do the same with Casey.

Best vet experience ever - everyone at Great Falls Animal Hospital was kind, knowledgeable and efficient. Especially appreciate Dr. Cook - not only did she give a very thorough examination and ensured that I fully understood what was going on with my pets health, but also followed up with phone calls to see how he was doing and to see if I had any questions. I highly recommend this office ;-))
