Please read this before you take your pet here or ANY Banfield...I have been taking my two dogs to the Kentlands location, and everyone has been nice. They love animals, but they work for money here. It never failed that every time over the past three years that I brought in my pet that for this or that, there wasnt always SOMETHING else that they needed, or $40 more her or there. I felt like I was being nickel and dimed and I am in sales and know when I am being sold a bad product. So, I decided to seek out a private vet for my dog and called the cancellation number to stop my MONTHLY payments towards my dogs wellness plan. I had just renewed in Aug, felt it would be simple and the monthly payments would just stop. Nope. You have to buy out of the contract...which is apparently IN the one you sign. My fault there. But because I pay out of pocket for everything not covered by the wellness plan, then essentially I am paying a monthly installment to have to services rendered upon need. He (my dog) had just finished his last round of shots - WHICH I PAID FOR - OUT OF POCKET. But I was told by the person I was speaking with trying to cancel (who had a soft arrogance like she had heard this type of reaction before) that the services were in my "commitment". I mean are you (blanking) kidding me??? McDonalds for pet care - spend the extra money and take your pet to a vet. Cant be this bad. Ill say this, my dogs always seemed to feel their best when it had been awhile since their last visit.

I called on a Sunday morning to have my 9 week old puppy seen. Shes 2 lbs & was sick... I called around 10, sat on the phone for 15 minutes with no one answering. Hung up tried again later... literally sat on hold for a good 30 minutes total. I was told even though I pay a monthly fee for 3 animals my dog couldnt be seen until tomorrow.( She wasnt friendly by any means) Not so much a big deal... called back later as she got worse & my mom who called for me was on hold for an HOUR This is craziness!!!! I called Germantown Banfield, wish I hadnt gotten the girls name, she answered after 2 rings, has the doctor calling me back & set an appointment for me. Also talked to me to help with my concerns. I know they are busy, but your too busy to answer phones? I own a business & were rather busy, but I would NEVER allow my staff to not service people. Bad business & customer service. Until Germantown I was planning on canceling all three of my pets monthly plans.

The hospital and staff itself is great, my dog loves going there , but the main place that does the billing is terrible! I had got charged twice a 20.00 fee for payment not going thru, never once did they send me a notice or anything, just kept on charging, not good customer service at all ,tried calling them to explain my credit card was involved with theft, and they still refused to credit me my money back

Very professionally run office. Have been bringing my dog and cat here for years.Telephone follow up the day after each visit to check in on your animal. Nicely located within the PetSmart. Dont always have meds you need to use in stock. A tad bit stinky on our last visit.

please update your hospital business hours on the website. The answering machine says 9am-7pm,but the website says 7am-7pm Monday -Saturday
