Great staff, techs, and Dr. Weiner is second-to-none. I moved back into this area after having been gone for 16 years, living in the Canton/Akron area of Ohio and having excellent veterinary care for my dogs. I was pointed in the direction of PVVC by a friend of mine who has made PVVC their vets office of choice. My male Rottweiler, Jimmy, was diagnosed by Dr. Weiner as having an osteosarcoma. After thoroughly discussing all our options, we decided to remove the mass. It was unusual in that it was a free-floating osteosarcoma in Jimmys armpit. I dropped Jimmy off on my way to work and waited for the call from Dr. Weiner. When he called, he had some bad news; the mass was deeply entangled in the nerves and removing it meant killing the leg, so we decided to remove the leg. That was February 17th, 2011. Today, April 10 2011, Jimmy is as happy as can be. The incision site is a thing of beauty, and hes getting around great thanks to the staff at PVVC. Jimmy has also been a patient there for there "Companion Laser Therapy"; a technique that uses cold laser technology to excite damaged tissue in the animals body. Jimmy has severe hip displaysia and the laser therapy work terrific for him. Bottom line, I would recommend PVVC to anyone who wants and needs excellent care for their pets, and peace of mind for themselves. I am so glad to have such experienced veterinarian care in our little, backwater part of the world.

After taking my kitten to Pleasant Valley Veterinary Care for the first time, I could not have received better care or service. The staff was great. They greeted my family and I with smiles. The service was wonderful, as well. Dr. Weiner informed my family and I about the new laser surgery, which was perfect for de-clawing our kitten. Jingles (our kitty) was literally running around and playing freely that evening as if nothing happened! Thanks to all the staff at Pleasant Valley! My family and I had a great experience and we will be back!

After my first visit here, I am switching veterinarians. Dr Weiner takes time to explain and give options, and I was impressed with him and his staff. Everyone is friendly and helpful. My two mini dachshunds are normally very frightened and nervous at the vet, but by the end of our visit they were both sprawled out on the exam table, totally relaxed and dozing!

Did an X-ray and charged me for it while I had my dog there to get neutered. Never even called to get my approval. And were very rude when I questioned it. Changing vets immediately.
