This is a superb veterinary practice, and I enthusiastically recommend it to anyone looking for a compassionate, highly skilled vet for their pet. The approach is holistic in that it integrates all forms of health care, from conventional medication to alternative therapies. Here is a tangible indicator of my superlative opinion of this practice: when Dr. Pema, our vet, and her colleague, Dr. Raichura, moved from Bethesda to Germantown to establish their own practice, my wife and I have continued to take our English cockerspaniel, Riley, to them for his health care, though I live in Washington, DC and the drive time has increased.

Finally a plan of action that I can feel good providing for my pet. It has been hard to find a vet that is understanding towards holistic approaches and who has solutions other than prescribing pills. I personally do not use a conventional approach to my own healing, and it was a relief to find support of treatments for my dog that I prefer to use. I no longer feel like I am stumbling around in the dark experimenting, but instead have a plan of action to heal my girl.

An expensive veterinarian and uncaring. Buyer beware, if you care about your pets do not take them here. They endangered our pets well being and forced an expensive treatment on him that lead weakened him and lead to his passing.
