My experience was as good as what one could expect from the situation. I brought my cat in for a routine declawing procedure, things went well for the procedure. The doctor called to say all went well and my cat was in recovery. About an hour later I received another phone call and the doctor explained that my cat passed away. I was furious and upset, and it was even more disturbing that there were no answers at the time. The doctor was fantastic, and went above and beyond to take care of any questions, concerns and wanted to provide me and my family with answers. They paid for the entire autopsy, which concluded that it was possibly and embolism. Even after the autopsy showed that the doctor and clinic were at no fault at all they still paid for the autopsy and the cremation. Though it was a very unfortunate situation, Value Care Vet went well above and beyond to take care of things and help my family with the grieving process. I strongly recommend this clinic!

I was a little disappointed with the service I received there. I dropped my kitty off and let them know he has a little bit of separation anxiety and asked to just say goodbye to him because I could tell he was uncomfortable with the new environment and they said it would be best to just leave him in the kennel which I really wanted to say goodbye to him... I did like how they called after surgery to let me know he was doing well and allowed me to pay over the phone so my boyfriend could pick him up. However, when my boyfriend got there they argued with him that there was no cat with that name there and told him to go somewhere else then as he was about to leave someone from the back said there was and they brought him out.. My boyfriend informed me he was crying from his kennel until he saw him and they also misplaced his favorite toy I sent him with, but later found it. In the end, I guess my cat is healthy and doing well so thats all that matters.

I am always pleased with the service they provide my cat whenever I come here, however the customer service I received today not so much. I had scheduled an appointment on Saturday for Friday afternoon as they didnt have any openings until midweek. However, I received a call Thursday, less than 24 hours before my scheduled appointment, stating that they had accidentally scheduled my appointment during the vets lunch hour and they had an opening at 2PM they could reschedule me for. Once I was able to return the call, I learned they had cancelled my appointment all together and the opening was no longer available and the earliest availability was next week. Woah! Thank god it wasnt an emergency and I got the message before they closed! Nonetheless, if you leave a message offering to reschedule for another time same day, it would be appreciated if that time were still available.

I had my 9 month old kitten spayed here. She got a TERRIBLE infection and was kept overnight at Affiliated Emergency Veterinary Clinic (AEVC). In the morning I was told to bring her back to ValueCare, which I did. AEVC faxed over her paperwork and told me they should be ready for her. I got to ValueCare and they had no idea what was going on. They sent her home. Less than 8 hours later I rushed her back to AEVC because her incision was dripping bloody pus. I told them that ValueCare gave us antibiotics and sent her home. They were not happy. She ended up having to have emergency surgery to clean the incision site and all around it. Had ValueCare taken a closer look and drained the pus, this would not have happened. I get the prices are good, but cheap care obviously means less care in this case. Will NEVER bring any animal there ever again.

I have gone to the Veterinary clinic before and will continue to go there, but I wont bring my dog to get groomed there again. The groomer made rude comments about our dog and how he acted while waiting for us to pick him up. The main reason why I will not go here again is because a couple of days after his grooming I noticed he had a huge nick from the clippers directly under his eye. It has been over a month and the hair still hasnt grown back. Normally when I take my dog to a groomer they say it will take 3-4 hours. This place said an hour. When leaving I was thinking that seems short. Now I know why it only takes an hour is because she rushed to get my dog done which resulted in his dime size nick under his eye.

During my 54 years of loving life with 12 4-legged family members I have NEVER been so happy with a vet clinic. All of the ValueCare Clinics staff members are more dedicated, professional, skilled and caring than I have ever experienced, hands down! My Kitty had surgery and aftercare that I was so completely impressed with that I am compelled to become a volunteer in their adoption center. I hope that I can give back to the Clinic & all of the beautiful ones that they strive to help in so many ways. I have been so blessed!!! Im writing on "welcome home day" with tears of joy as my beloved feline purrs, so happy to be back home. Im so glad a co-worker recommended ValueCare to me!

I love this place. They were able to diagnose and provide a temporary relief for my cats Feline Herpesvirus. The previous vet I visited in Shakopee did not diagnose my cat but in turn blamed me for their sneezing and watery eyes! Mind you, I feed them raw, organic, air-frozen chicken and they are fed distilled water. I became so paranoid, I even replaced their litter with pine wood shavings, which did not help their issues but I do love the change. So at least one positive experience came out of the poor veterinarian in Shakopee. I recently moved, but I will be going back to this vet in Chaska in the future!!! Highly recommended. Plus its very clean and everyone is super friendly.

Today I had to send my Sasha kitty to the rainbow bridge. I had never been here before. I live in Prior Lake and used a vet close by for my three kitties. But in March one of my kitties was diagnosed with diabetes and since that time we have not been able to get it under control and have spend literally thousands on Vet appointments so I had to find a less expensive place to take Sasha. This was it! Dr. Phil was so caring and compassionate. I really would like him to see my diabetic kitty and see what he thinks. Im probably going to start going here for both my kitties now. Highly recommend for compassionate care.

This place is inexpensive and did a fine job on my cats dental surgery. However, this isnt the kind of place to go if you want to meet with a vet, talk through options, or get good customer service. For example, they never called me to tell me my cat was ready to be picked up. Then one I checked in at the desk to pick up my cat I was told to have a seat and they forgot about me for almost half an hour until I asked what the hold up was (there was no one else waiting and they assisted others who came in after me). I never got to speak with a vet before or after my cats surgery, which was the most disturbing part for me.
