I made my daughter a doctors appointment a month ago to come in to get her last remaining shots for school as she has to have them by the end of August. The only available time they had was 2:50 on August 17. I knew I couldnt make the appointment so I asked the scheduler could my dad bring her to her appointment and I show up while she is there waiting to be seen. The scheduler informed me this would not be a problem. Mind you in order to see the doctor you have to wait sometimes an hour just to get called back in a room only to sit there for another 30 minutes waiting on the doctor. Well Yesterday when my father arrives with my daughter they waited almost 10 minutes to inform my father I needed to be present. I was leaving my job at 3p.m. coming from Buford. My father calls and informs me that they will not see her without me being present. So I immediately call the doctors office, mind you Im on the expressway driving to get there, to tell them Im on the way. They stated I needed to be there by 3:20 in order for my daughter to be seen. I explain the confusion as the scheduler told me wrong and they still wouldnt hear me out. As Im still on the phone (10 minutes later) I arrive and pull in I tell them Im here which is now 3:25 when I walk in I get taken back to speak with the office Manager, who was really rude, she tells me my daughter cant be seen as a parent wasnt present at the time of the visit. I again explain the confusion and all she would say is we need to reschedule your appointment. But here is the kicker.... When I arrive a child under 18 signs herself in to see the doctor they ask where her parent is as someone has to be present so she says "oh Ill call my dad" and he shows up 35 minutes past the appointment but she still got to see the doctor. When I asked the office Manager why is that acceptable she said oh its different circumstances.... Like really??? Whats different. Not to mention a Nanny brought a child and the office asked for the childs parent to be present and they waited for the parent to arrive and still seen the child. But my child couldnt be seen and had to reschedule. They never once said oh well we will have a talk with our schedulers about this or we will handle this so it doesnt happen again all they would say is I needed to reschedule. I think its pretty sorry to have a company tell their patients wrong information then put it on the patient as though its their fault for being mis-informed. Obviously I wasnt the only one told that someone else could bring the child as 4 other people showed up without parents and waited for the parents to show & still seen the child but not mine.

We were considered a New Patient there. We had gone in for a sick check up for my son who has strep. We arrive and get called to the counter for paper work and questions about insurance. I told her who we have and I knew it was a 25 copay through our insurance. I asked if I could pay the following Monday? Which was when my daughter was coming in for her regular checkup. The said "no because my son has not been seen there before he is considered a New Patient so I have to pay before he is seen". Ok I get that its policy but who comes up with these things? What kind of place turns away a sick child??? The point I am trying to make is what happened to America?? You would think all of the money these working parents pay out of their checks each pay period would be enough to cover going to the doctor? If I could rate this place nothing I would!! HORRIBLE place never go there and they also need better training on how to answer phones!!!

Every time i go in i am there for 2 hrs at least! The doctors are in and out as fast as they can be without fully listening to my concerns. When i am able to voice my concerns i am told my child is fine without them even addressing my concern. Some doctors are great but most are not. I will be finding a new pediatrician.

Some of the staff is great, some arent. The wait time is usually less than 15 minutes. My biggest complaint is phone courtesy. Ive been trying to get my daughters shot records because we recently moved out of state. 3 weeks after the initial phone call & I still havent gotten them.
