Positive: The wait was not too long and the person at the front desk and the MA or RN who took my vitals and checked me in were pleasant. On to the Negative: I have a a family member with a chronic illness, so I spend a great deal of time in doctors offices. I have NEVER met a doctor more condescending and rude than Dr. Lenny. I have a history of sinus surgeries and sinus infections since I was in my 20s and usually get at least one sinus infection a year. I am 54 and I know my body and how my infections progress and I know the symptoms and point when I need antibiotics. Luckily, I have a PCP who knows this as well and if I get on antibiotics when I have reached the point that my body is no longer fighting the infection, I get better and dont have to take steroids or have IV antibiotics. Things get a bit dicey when I reach this point on a weekend and am at the mercy of a doctor or PA that doesnt know me or how my infections progress, but I have always been lucky to have had health care providers at Urgent Care Centers that trusted that I know my body and symptoms. I have been to this location perviously when my symptoms have become unbearable and have always been treated respectfully until today. Dr. Lenny was unwilling to listen to me explain my history and how my infections progress and actually minimized my symptoms and pain by saying we dont treat sniffles with antibiotics and had anyone ever told me how to relieve the pressure without letting me respond? I did not have the sniffles, I had horrible drainage and pain in my face and ear. I realized I was getting nowhere with him and walked out of the treatment room and he called out to me as I was leaving that he doesnt prescribe antibiotics to people just because they want them. I responded that I didnt want them I needed them and he yells out of the treatment room that I should see my own doctor. Well unfortunately when symptoms worsen on a Saturday I can not. I went home and took 4 Advil to try to get the pain in my face and ear to subside and when it worsened I went to the Centura Health Urgent Care on 64th in Arvada. Excellent decision as I saw a kind and caring doctor who listened to my symptoms and actually tried to help me. I will go to this location in the future if I have Urgent Care needs and will NEVER return to Rocky Mountain Urgent Care!

I came in with a swollen arm/hand after gardening....I was unsure as to what caused my arm to blow up. I really didnt want to go to doctor so I let my condition go for another 30 hours. Finally, I went to RMUC in Westminster. I was nervous, to say the least. However once there I filled out some basic paperwork, flashed my ID and grabbed an office mag to catch up on celebrity news. Samantha at the front desk greeted me and made me feel welcome even though she was also dealing with the IT guy (so you already know the morning was hectic!) After document completion, I sat and just as I had cracked the magazine to locate story from front cover, a young lady appeared from behind the curtain. Her name was Katherine. She guided me to door #3 and asked me to take a seat. Once our introductions and small chit chat ceased she got down to vitals. She performed like a professional! I had asked her if she saw sone funky stuff and after confirming she had, she surprised me by telling me it was her first day! As I thanked the lord I wasnt about to undergo surgery! (no offense, Katherine) Overall, she performed very well. I wouldve never known unless she hadnt told me. After I saw the Docs Nurse Practitioner, Michelle, whom also was rather pleasant, Kathetine visited me once more asking me to pull down my pants! Relax. It was time for a healthy dose of pennicillin! Katherine was very calming, very helpful and had a pkeasant energy about her. As I pulled down my drawls I asked her the dreaded question....one she is asked countless times a day, "Is this gonna hurt?" She asked if I really wanted the truth." My palms started sweating because when that is the reply you get, you know things arent good! But, this little trickster fooled me and by the time I opened my mouth to ask another ill-witted question, she was tossing the hazardous waste into the basket. She was done! Wow. I say, WOW! Lol. Welp, Doc is here with my discharge paperwork...."Im going home! Im gonna live!!" Hats off to the Staff at RMUC, and a special gold star for Michelle & Katherine!!

I came in today b/c of pink eyes, a sore on my nose and insomnia. I cannot even express how kind, compassionate and caring the staff were!! Dr Black was very knowledgeable and helpful. The employee that stood out most though was the nurse Kriss. I have really difficult veins to draw blood from. It usually takes 5 or 6 pokes in order for a nurse to get a good enough vein. They usually end up using my hand and kind of digging around. That is fine, I understand and am used to it. I told Kriss I was a difficult poke. She promptly found a vein in the crook of my elbow which never, ever works. Well she hit a vein on the first try and did not have to dig around at all! Kriss was also very reassuring about the things I was worried about. I did not even feel the needle go in!! I did not leave the card at the front desk so here are my answers: 1. My wait time was 1 (minimal) 2. My medical care was 5 (great) 3.The staff was 5 (great) 4.The facility was clean and orderly 5 (Great( But above all the employee that stood out was Kriss!! I will recommend RMUC and RMFM to my friends because of the positive experiences I always have there!! If it were up to me I would highly recommend Kriss for a raise!! I am going to post this information on 1. Google, 2. City Search and 3. Yelp Thank you for the positive experience and listening to my comments. Since I have your attention I want add I see Jeremy Wilson PA and he has always been wonderful! The employees on the RMFM side that really stand out are Dino and Samantha!! They are both excellent employees and are always kind and caring when I go in...as is Jeremy Wilson!! Thank you for listening to my comments! Sincerely, Teresa Itzen

If I could give this a negative number of stars, I would. I injured my wrist and ankle in two separate incidents last week while on vacation. I could not get in to my regular Doctor today so I tried Rocky Mountain Urgent Care on 92nd Ave in Westminster. I explained my issues to the receptionist and she immediately told me, "We can only see you for one issue in Urgent Care." Then she said, "Well, wait a minute...let me go talk to the Medical Assistant and see what he wants to do." Mind you, I could see the Medical Assistant was doing nothing but flirting with the receptionist and some sort of Nursing Assistant. When the receptionist went to talk to him, he said, "NO! We cant help her!", then proceeded to whisper a bunch of other stuff to her while laughing and repeatedly reaching out to touch the nurse (like jab, jab, arent I hilarious?!). The receptionist came back and I said, "I heard him, you know" to which she responded, "I am so sorry." Who the hell is this guy to say they cant help me when he hasnt even talked to me? A completely unprofessional jack___, thats who. This location has nothing but negative reviews to begin with so my bad for going there in the first place. I learned my lesson and will NEVER go there again and I will be sure and tell everyone I know not to go there either.
