So I schedule a visit with a primary care physician at PAMF San Carlos, pay my $20 copay, and later on learn that I owe $215 because my UHC insurance considers her "out of network"? Thats despite the PAMFs main site and the doctors profile page both explicitly stating that they accept my health plan and I never had trouble with any other provider at PAMF before? This system is so sick, its not even clear whose at fault here, the only thing that is very clear is that I owe $215. Of course. Thanks for nothing, PAMF and UHC.

This location pads their bills with extra billing codes. I went in for a regular preventive care appointment, covered by my insurance, and they applied extra billing codes resulting in a big bill for me. I have tried talking with their billing department, but they are rude and there doesnt seem to be any recourse --- whatever billing codes the Dr. chooses are correct, because we all know that doctors cannot make mistakes... Now I have had to spend a huge amount of time fighting this. Stay away from PAMF!

Highly recommended compared to Mills or any other urgent care around this area! Sutter health has done an excellent job with the talent they have here. The building structure is state of the art and looks like a museum from the inside. That creepy hospital feeling is not present!

Dcotor Sonia Lui was wonderful very detailed. The front desk lady was horrible and when I complained she gave me the wrong name so they were unable to assist me. I am very sadden we will not be returning to PAMF due to this service.

I had the best urgent care experience you can have for needing to go to urgent care. Excellent care from reception, nurses and doctors. The buildings are gorgeous, well designed, easy to navigate.
