The doctors of the clinic are likely just fine, however Stanfords admin stuff is so unwilling or not capable to do the job that I would go to Stanford only in case of great necessity. Ive in the clinic 3 times now and I wont be going again. First, my 50-page med history never made it to my file (why do you request it if youre not able to provide it to the doctor?); then my appointment was made with a wrong doctor; I knew only one and I asked to make appointment with the Doctor my friend recommended; when got there - mix up; my insurance was checked, however not billed even though the checking showed that test and diagnostics are covered. The doctor ordered expensive tests that had very little likelihood of finding anything wrong. Stanford subcontracted pathology analysis to 3rd party that in not a part of network of my PPO insurance. Be ware! Stanford billing is HORRIBLE! I certainly prefer docs that just charge upfront instead of the institution that tells you procedure is covered and then it turns out not to be. Outside of fertility clinic my son was given by ENT twice the wrong dosage of medicine; one of those times the dosage was twice as high as max recommended (he did not even need max that was for severe infections); the explanation I got "yes, it is wrong dosage, but that is what our system shows". I have to mention that I loved Dr Nanci Yuan of Children ENT; no mistakes, no BS

We went to Dr. Baker from Stanford fertility center. I have a condition called PCOS, and getting pregnant naturally for me is impossible. After seeing a number of doctors, no one was able to help us conceive. Stanford fertility was awesome. Dr. Baker is a great Doctor Who listens and tries to accommodate a plan that works best for you. I am rating this on the dr. and not the administrative staff and billing. I do agree that the billing and administration needs some attention. Ive had to call them a number of times just to fix billing issues. Additionally, there are a lot of people without fertility health coverage, Stanford being that they are a big hospital, should figure out a better way of providing low cost coverage and lower price fertility medication. I know many couples give up on the dream of having a child, simply due to the fees and cost associated with treatment. We were fortunate enough to have our miracle baby and cannot thank Stanford fertility, specifically Dr. Baker enough.
