Listen to the reviewers! I was also looking for a new OB/GYN to go to and I was referred to this place by a co-worker. I was thoroughly disappointed. When I called, I told them I needed to be seen for my annual Well-Womens examine, covered by my insurance. I knew it had been at least a year since my last examine, because I was out of birth control refills. I mentioned on the phone that I had a couple issues I would like to discuss with the doctor and requested to be seen as soon as possible. So, they booked the appointment as "medical concerns" instead of my annual visit - THEN sent me a bill for over $500. I called my insurance to appeal this, but it was denied because when my insurance reached out to Mid-City, they simply told them that the appointment was for medical concerns. Did I mention that the doctor didnt even address my medical concerns?! The only thing that happened during my appointment was a pap smear. In fact, the doctor started leaving the room as I was asking him questions about my concerns and standing outside of my patient room he shook his head and said "I dont know" and then charged me for it. What a total crock. So not only is Dr. Jurgensen completely unhelpful, but the receptionists are unprofessional, unorganized and are incapable of scheduling visits properly. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Im glad Im not the only person leaving low reviews. Six years ago when I had my kid I went to this clinic and all the doctors and nurses were very nice but the front desk, the customer service and billing departments are atrocious… I had two insurances that I had gave to them with ample time and they ended up only billing one of them. It took almost a year for them to fix the billing and I kept getting bills in the mail for services that my insurance had covered...it was a nightmare. Today I went in to get copies of my medical records because last night I was informed by my college I needed documentation for a financial aid appeal. The school gave me a very short deadline which I know makes it difficult but the customer service rep at the front desk scarfed at me and said, "oh so you have a deadline but youre just now coming to us? " thats not customer service, thats a bitchy attitude and thats the attitude Ive got every single time Ive had to deal with the front staff. I was honestly considering going back to use them as my OB/GYN, because I only have one insurance now so I figured it wouldnt be such a headache… But clearly their staff is still very rude so that just deters me from ever wanting to go there.

I had been looking for a new OB/GYN to go to after my insurance changed and thought this would be a great match. I was horribly mistaken. Overall I was given the impression that I was unimportant. I would definitely NEVER recommend this place to anyone. They booked a pap smear instead of a contraceptive consultation, the doctor was late both times I went there (1 hour the first and half an hour the second time), the receptionists are unprofessional and seem unorganized, and the doctor I saw was completely unhelpful.

Was overly impressed with this place!! I was on a road trip, far from home, when I needed to be seen! Every staff was very understanding of my situation, and helped me navigate! Dr. Legino was amazing! He got my results that same day, personally called me, and had his nurse send me all my results so I can show my doctor at home! If we lived closer, he would be my gynecologist!!

Ive been going to this clinic for about 5 years now. The staff is always welcoming and kind and I love LOVE seeing Dr. Hedrick and her PA, Jessica! Theyre really funny and make my appointments not so dull. Never had a problem with the billing or accounts departments - outstanding office!

Do not use. This place can not file with your insurance company correctly then tries to make you responsible for their mistake. The mid wives were great. Love it until the mistakes with the billing. Not worth the added stress when you are trying to enjoy your time with little one.

I have had the best experience at the 72nd street location. I also use the affiliated SPA, MidCity Med Esthetics, located in the same building, and really like it. I would recommend both. My MD, Dr Tran, is professional, knowledgeable, and a pleasant person overall.

When I arrived the two gals at the desk were talking about a patients appointment history very loudly and one was looking up information to make aa point. It made me feel very uncomfortable. My doctor was very kind and thorough though.

Lady on the phone seemed extremely inconvenienced with the questions I had as a new patient... Maybe get some more friendly staff to represent your office... Looking by the other reviews, maybe this was a blessing in disguise.

I went to these guys for my first pregnancy and they were great! I usually saw the APRN, Liz. Shes nice and shell listen to any concerns and answer any questions you have. Ill definitely go to them for future pregnancies.
