I can only share my experience in getting a yearly well woman exam. The lack of continued care is just not there. I needed a new doctor as Ive moved - my last doctor checked my hormones and prescribed my vitamin D and Omega Fatty Acids. They also did a better job of explaining my results. Ive asked for a call back on blood results and a mammogram, they never called back. My husbands new doctor was completely the opposite. Great follow up care and he prescribed all that was needed. This office told me to "Go to GMC" after they said I needed 4000MG of Omega Fatty Acids. The reviews seem to be good when youre not feeling well and need a visit but I would avoid this place for yearly well exams.

Just moved to Houston and was looking for a PCP, a friend recommended me My Family Doctor and I went to establish care, my first visit was a regular physical exam but I was nervous anyway! Everyone there was so warm, respectful and compassionate that I felt so calm in no time. They actually listen and doctor takes time to answer all of your concerns. It took some time to get out of there (because I needed blood work) so I highly recommend you to get there a bit early for your appointment. Its a very comprehensive clinic and you can trust they will take good care of your health.

On 5/4/2015 I had an appointment at 10:00 am. By 11:30 a.m. I was still waiting. When I asked the receptionist, she mentioned that I still have to wait 30 more minutes because there was 3 patients ahead of me. At this point I just left and decided to switch family doctor.

I was just happy that they were able to fit my mom as she was not feeling well . Her usual Dr. is Dr. Ramirez but she was not there so we Dr. Romano and she was really sweet to my mom od 84 yrs old. Everyone was very polite .

My experience with Dr. Ramirez has been excellent. She is very thorough with her work and the visits are always pleasant. If youre looking for a family doctor I certainly recommend her.
