I just happen to run into this site and am shocked to see the bad reviews for Dr. Hayley Nguyen? I have been going to her office for years! I switched to Dr Nguyen after going to another Dr who always made me wait, was rude when I asked questions, and the staff was just unpleasant (just a very "old school" Drs office)! It made me feel worse when I got there because of the situation. However, Dr. Nguyens staff (especially the nurse) makes it a more pleasant visit (because I am a chicken when it comes to going to the Drs office) and I dont have to waste my whole day at the Drs office! Dr. Nguyen always answers all of my quesitons and addresses all of my concners. Personally, I do not have a problem with her jotting her notes down in front of me, whether she writes them or types them on her laptop, because I know its necessary for a DR. Its called TECHNOLOGY! Nowadays, whether you go to the Gyno, Optometrist, etc, most Drs are all up to date with technology and it should not be used against them! I run my business by referrals and I dont think this is very fair to give bad reviews for someone who does have experience, cares about their patients, and does spend time to answer their patinents quesitons. As for comments regarding the blood tests and prescribing meds--isnt that what Drs should do to either confirm their diagnosis, have record of your medical history or get you better? Well, nowadays, most people rely on reviews to go to places so that is why I am taking time out of my busy schedule to share my thoughts ...

Disclaimer this review is not a bout Dr. Nguyen herself but about her office staff. My mother and other family members have been going to Dr. Nguyen for years and have raved about how wonderfully they are treated while at Dr. Nguyens office. So imagine my surprise when I called this morning and was treated extremely poorly by the receptionist who conveniently didnt give me her name. The receptionist asked me what kind of insurance I had and I told her I had Untied she then asked me if I had the choice plus or navigate plus plans because those were the only forms of United that the office accepts. I told her I did not have my card in front of me but I can defiently check that if she gave me a minute. my mother who has my card looked and I told her I have the open access plan, to which to scoffed and said "That doesnt make any sense, United doesnt have that kind of plan." I told her that is what is says on my card she then sighed as if doing her job was an inconvenience for her and asked me for my member ID number again I told her that I do not have my card in front of me but this time she cut me off midway through my sentence and told me what appointments were available in an extremely irritated tone. So I kindly told her that I do not appreciate nor do I deserve to be spoken in that tone and would not like to make an appointment at that office and to that she hung up in my face. I called back seconds later outraged wanting to speak to an office manager and no one answered my call.

I have been seeing Dr. Nguyen for 2 years now. In recent times, I had referred my husband and my brother to her since they needed a check up. They first verified the insurance and said we were good to go and our physicals were covered by insurance 100%. After the visit, we started getting emails stating our insurance were cancelled and that we owe however much. Now I understand insurance is annoying and ugly to deal with. It just so happens that there was a problem with my husband and my brothers insurance and as their company had to cancel their plan and started a new one so the policy number was different. Their billing specialist, Anthony, had been helping us this whole time and it seemed like it was finally resolved until we got another email from them stating we owed money. At this point, I wasnt really mad because like I said, I understand insurance is stupid and annoying at times but my god, this woman was so rude and not at all helpful. She did not even try to think about the situation and see if we can collaborate to find a solution. I was in shocked how someone like that can work at a medical office. Its safe to say, we will not be returning to this office.

I called for an emergency appointment, she said that she could take me right away. I waited for an hour and twenty minutes. When I saw her, she asked me very generic questions, nothing that should have given her the confidence to ascertain the cause of my condition. She diagnosed me on that limited information, it was so limited that I kept talkinig and asking questions since I knew that I didnt give her enough information. After I gave up on trying to give her more information, I just told her what i thought it was, but she dismissed it and said that my organ was in a different spot. She was very wrong, I was right, but as a consequence of her misdiagnosis, I had an organ removed. I contemplated a malpractice suit for a while. During my appointment I also felt extremely rushed. I was in with her for 7 minutes and she asked nearly as many questions about how I was referred to her as she did about my condition. Horrible.

Embarrassing to say but I looked at reviews (and distance from work) when choosing a new doctor after my long term doctor retired. I stumbled across Dr. Hayley Nguyen and noticed a good amount of positive reviews. Decided to put my trust in the reviewers and scheduled an appointment. The appointment process was easy and painless. A week later I am greeted by a friendly and helpful staff. They seemed genuinely pleased to have me as a patient. The nurses were kind and the gal who took my blood did an excellent job. The good doctor was very thorough and a great listener throughout the physical. Very in tune to what I was saying and offered appropriate feedback. I found a new longterm doctor and could not help but write a review for the next person searching for a new doctor. I recommend her and her practice highly.

Today was my first time seeing Dr. Hayley Nguyen. Setting up an appointment over the phone was fast and easy, as well as checking to see if they accept my insurance which they do. I didnt have an appointment but they managed to put me in for a same day appointment. I arrived and was greeted by the receptionist. She was so nice. I arrived super early at 9:45 am before my appointment so waited in the waiting area. My appointment was at 10:30 am. I got called in at around 10:45 am. The nurse was amazingly nice as well, we chatted and laughed. Once in the room I waited about 10 minutes for Dr. Nguyen. She was so kind and caring. I really liked Dr. Nguyen. I found my new doctors office. I strongly recommend her.

Dr. Nguyen is my GP. She is very convenient to see on short notice, as well as for well woman exams. I adore her - she is health conscious, and while not afraid to write a scrip, shes very open and encouraging (including practical suggestions!) for living more healthfully to combat long term conditions. I think she has a great bedside manner and I feel very comfortable talking to her about anything, she is empathetic and solution oriented. Wait times are generally short and appointments are fairly quick - shes not the type of doctor to linger and chat, but thats not my style either. I appreciate getting in quick, getting my concerns addressed, and back out the door quickly.
