I had no idea that dentists could be scam artists until I visited this place. Also I have noticed that this office takes more time placing fake reviews on this site and others in order to boost it overall rating on the web because if you SPEAK TO ACTUAL PATIENTS of this place they all tell you that this guy will reach deeper into your pockets than you ever thought a dentist could. This place is the SHANNON MOTORS of the dentist world, a full fledged scam operation designed to stretch your routine appointments to multiple visits, dental work that you dont need at all will suddenly be recommended and bills will start to pile up before you know what happened. My experience there consisted of signing a promise to pay for services regardless of the outcome (before I was even examined) getting led into an office where was left waiting for twenty minutes when the "dentist" showed up looked at my teeth for all of 30 seconds and then said see the receptionist where I was handed a bill for 130 dollars! I fought with the girl at the desk but she could care less and I had signed something in thee beginning so I just paid it. I know many people in the area of where this place is located that have had horrible experiences with the Bernard Madoff of dentists. So do yourself a favor and dont believe the fake reviews from employees or his family members on this site and go somewhere else.

I have been a patient at Dr. Appelbaums office for over 25 years. I have always received exceptional care both with the doctor and hygienists in the office. The front desk receptionists are always very accommodating with scheduling my appointments and they go out of their way to provide me with my insurance information so I know how much is covered for procedures prior to my scheduled appointment. I would also highly recommend this office for children of all ages. My daughter has been a patient since her first office visit at the age of 3 and she has always been educated on proper home care and treated in a kid friendly, caring manner. She is now 16, has a beautiful smile and has the knowledge necessary to continue on a path of good dental habits. I highly recommend this practice for the WHOLE FAMILY!!!

Dr. Appelbaum is very nice, soft spoken, and very good at what he does. I have seen two different hygienists, both were very nice and skilled. When I had to have cavities filled, I explained that I have a difficult time with needles, he gave me a lavender scented spelling salt to help relax me. It was one of the easiest fillings Ive ever had. My only complaint is that Ive never had an on-time appointment. I drive 30 minutes to get to the appointment, paying a babysitter while Im gone, and my last appointment started 15 minutes late, the one before that was over 20 minutes late. If, as a patient, I was running 15 minutes or more late for an appointment, most offices would cancel your appointment and charge you for it.

I have been going to Dr. Applebaum for over 30 years. My husband and 3 adult children all went to him (before moving away). I cant say enough good about him and his office staff. Jean (the hygienist), Jackie (at the front desk), Karen (everywhere) and Maria are all friendly and super efficient. Whenever I have had a problem, Dr. A has always fit me in his schedule. I have the utmost trust and faith in Dr. Applebaum. 25+ years ago I moved from Barrington to East Greenwich and never even considered changing dentists to one more local. This practice is a 5 star one for sure.

Firstly, I am a "scaredy cat" when it comes to going to the dentist, but, I cannot say enough good things about how much I appreciate this dental practice. Dr. Applebaum is caring and considerate of those of us who have some existing phobias. And, the dental hygienist I see is top notch. The office staff is great, too. They are always so professional, friendly and helpful. If the Wampanoag Trail location is convenient and you are looking for a new dentist, I dont think you could do any better than this office. (I came here on a friends recommendation a few years ago, myself.)

I am always greeted by Jackie, the patient coordinator, with a smile. My hygienist, Sheila, was professional and offered me ways to improve my dental health as well as doing a great job cleaning my teeth. Dr. Appelbaum was pleasant and offered choices regarding potential future crown related work. My visit was done quickly and with patient care. I recommend Dr. Appelbaums staff for all dental needs. I was not happy with my experience at all. The hygienist talked more then cleaned my teeth. I was so frustrated I just wanted her shut up. After my cleaning. I assumed Dr Applebaum who have come in check on my teeth the same day but the hygienist told me I had to make separate appointment. What joke this place is. Just trying to make money. Then even cheap out didnt even give free toothbrush and floss at end of the appointment. I am done with this place. Dont believe any reviews. Pretty disappointing place.

Dr. Appelbaum and his staff are exceptional! They take very good care of their patients, and are especially good with children and those who are a bit phobic of the dentists chair... They are patient, kind and caring, and do exceptional work. Ive never had them suggest unnecessary or costly procedures - they care more about their patients than making $s for a parent-office. Give them a try - you wont regret it!

Ive been coming here for a long time, maybe 20 years. Dr. Appelbaum and his staff have been very good to me. They keep me calm and pain free, and believe me, keeping me calm is not easy. Im very happy with the care they have given me, and also the lengths Dr. Appelbaum has gone to help family members of mine with serious mental blocks about dental care. I recommend this office wholeheartedly.

I have been a patient of Dr. Appelbaum since I was a young child. I have had many cleanings from all of the dental hygienists in the office and the preventative care was outstanding. The staff at the practice is courteous and friendly and always makes me feel comfortable during my appointments. I would definitely recommend this practice based on the service and care that I have received.

The absolute best dentist I have ever been to. Amazing for any age, great for kids and adults. Always very helpful with any concerns one may have. The hygienists are fantastic and always do a completely brilliant job. The entire staff is wonderful and exceedingly helpful. All together this is the best place to go. I wouldnt go anywhere else, and I would recommend him to anyone!
