I went there because of an emergent root canal, and started my bad experience. The doctor for the root canal drop something on my gum line when taking off the bracket leaving a ulcer on my gum line more than 3 weeks. The doctor didnt even say sorry to me. I know it was not a normal procedure, because I had several root canal done previously and she just wanted to hide this accident. It hurt a lot and my own dental doctor saw the ulcer still there when I seek help for putting the crown. That was 3 weeks later. It is not a big mistake, and thinking everyone deserve a chance, I kept quiet. When I did routine cleaning, the bottom front teeth was pull out because this teeth was previously infected and because of big strength to pull off the teeth. then I had to take the module of the mouth to do partial bridge. It was a nightmare! the first staff put the wrong size module in my mouth, forcing me to bite... I couldnt take it and had to spit out, I was in tears when dashing to the basin to spit out. every one would know how painful it is if you are forcing to bight a hard mental on your teeth bone! the first staff didnt give me any comfortable words, rather saying "I dont know why she cant do it, I dont know, she cant do it..." it was like I was whining and bitching and she has no way to deal with me, not her problem. I had to insist to do it changing modules. Then later it was done by another staff, she was very good, and picked the right size of module, and my nightmare stopped there. I had many times of taking modules due to putting crowns, but here is my only experience that I failed the first time, it was too painful. Still my bad experiences didnt stopped, Ive told the staff for making the partial that the top of my missing front teeth is not rounded but very flat, and the module suppose to show the top shape of missing tooth if comparable to the teeth next to it. But the front teeth both on the temporary and the permanent partial bridge are rounded. I even specially reminded the staff regarding the shape of missing teeth when doing the module for the permanent one. It came out rounded still, and I have to ask to make it a little bit flat. Guess what, now it is a little bit shorter and still a little bit rounded, because trimming made it shorter. It is my front teeth, i am a lady, but I have no strength to argue with this clinic anymore. After this I went back to my own dentist full of appreciation his caring professional services. It is a franchise dental clinic, appliances and spaces are better than most of small clinics in this area, but their services really drive the customers away if they dont want to improve their practice and hire top professionals.

This review is based on my experience at the Seekonk location. Aspen dental as a whole has some serious issues with their locations. Not at this one. I had a cracked and infected tooth that another dentist butchered. I was able to schedule an appointment for the very next day with the oral surgeon at this location to have it extracted. I HAD to be sedated and they accommodated my request. It was relatively inexpensive with my insurance. The front receptionist seemed a little short but appeared to be under heavy load today. The waiting room was pretty full. The lady I spoke with in the back doing the paperwork was AWESOME. Very friendly and caring. My wait was a bit long (Appt was 10:30, went back at 11:00ish) but worth it. Dr. Lee was my surgeon and was VERY professional and had good bed side manner. I would gladly see him again for any dental needs. After the procedure, both Dr. Lee and his assistant were always checking in while coming back around from sedation. I cannot stress enough how comfortable they made me feel. All in all, Aspen has serious issues at most of their locations. If you go in with the mindset of just getting done what you need and avoid falling for their "upsales" you should be okay. This location as a whole appears to be one of the few good Aspen Dentals. Good counter, caring assistants and competent surgeons. I will end this review by saying this: If I need oral help again, I will be coming back to this location. Thank you for reading my review.

This visit, rescheduled a number of times for various reasons (my first beef), was not my typical bi annual cleaning experience. Had a new hygienist, and was not too happy about that. Bringing this up to a friend of mine after the appt., I found that she too gets very disappointed when hygienists leave and the organization does not let you know. Its like your favorite hairdresser dropping you and leaving (and not telling you)...not cool. Without warning, the hygienist started up this tool, called the cavitron. It sounded like a drill when youre getting a cavity filled. Scary! This tool goes into the mouth and scales your teeth, spewing spit all over your face and surrounding vicinity...gross! When she was done with the cleaning, I asked about the tool, and she told me "it was what they always use". I said how I was just there in January and this is not what I experienced. I had the hand tool scraper along with the fill the cup and spit sink next to me. The hygienist told me that could not be...it was against OSHA regulations...I thought I was losing my mind!! I was there!! Needless to say, after this visit, Im not sure Ill go back. Felt like the twilight zone...and I did not enjoy the experience. But 3 stars because, yes, my teeth are clean.

I needed dentures made. They kept bragging how they take a few days to make. And bragging how they have the insight lab. Well, what should have taken a few days took over 6 months!!! I am so unhappy!! I even brought them a photo of how my old teeth looked. We all want to look as natural as we once did. I even bought the most expensive dentures. Cost me over $3000.00!! I am still paying for them!! The wax try ins werent anything like I wanted! One try on the side tooth was sideways!! They couldnt see this!?? I also asked for a little dent in the front, as my natural teeth were not straight, and they still made them "thier way" I ended up just taking what they did and running!! Manager Craig was useless!! My bottom teeth hit back of top teeth. When I told them, they said no they werent! Seriously?!? I dont recommend them for dentures!! Cant say how they run the rest of their business. Ugh!! Waste of money!! And its out of pocket! I dont have insurance!

Its probably a good place to go if you need a cleaning or a minor repair like a filling. I needed some major work done and went there for a assessment and price quote. It was in the 10k range and I have no insurance. Retired as I am I could only afford it if I took the money from my IRA , which I did. Then I called back for some final details and was shocked to learn that the 7 extractions I needed would be done without anything but a local anasthetic. I voiced my misgivings but only received a dismissive "Thats the way its always done" response. I dont really know if I was talking to a member of the medical staff or the receptionist. Anyway, now Im sitting on the money I took out and I have to use it by the end of the year to get this work done or pay the extreme tax consequences. So now I have to find another dental office who is as interested in my comfort as they are in getting my money.
