I have been to this place twice. Once for a facial and once to purchase products. I had a better experience there the first time I was in there. This was the third time I was there . I made an appointment for my husband to see one of the estheticians. The evening staff was extremely unprofessional especially the very pissed of looking gentleman that was working at the time at the front desk. We were a few minutes late for the appointment and the esthetician decided to leave because she was busy with meetings all day (according to the extremely rude and unfriendly gentleman working at that time). the first time, I saw a different esthetician who was 20 minutes late and I waited very patiently. I did not complain in fact I did not mind waiting . Apparently its okay for them to be late but if a paying client is literally 5 mins late they leave because they dont have time. I wish I noted the guys name who was there at the time. He just made everything so much worst by his horribly negative attitude. He had absolutely no sense of customer service . But even worst is that the person we had made the appointment with was not even in the building, she left even before the time of the appointment because she decided we were going to be late. I was sure I would have someone contact me the next day to apologize but no, since I spent quite a few minutes explaining my frustration. This shows the level of integrity this business operates by . I am very disappointed with my experience because I was really looking forward to the services they offer. I have heard good things about the main doctor who owns the practice and I hope my complain and review reaches him. My husband is a business owner as well and I understand when workers dont reflect the owners integrity. I was happy to have found this place near my house and unfortunately now I have to go on a search to find a new place .

I was referred to Dr. Terrill by my primary care physician due to the clusters of acne I had running down my cheekbones and on my chin that were very bothersome. Just like most people who left poor reviews, he seemed like he was in a rush to take a look, quickly prescribe me something, then leave. I was prescribed antibiotics and told my acne was hormonal. I think I saw him no more than a total of five minutes. He then sent me up to his esthetician, where he said they would work with me to help "treat my acne" from the outside as well, and they sold me a $40 dollar cleanser which did absolutely nothing. I took my first round of antibiotics, went back the next month, and he prescribed me different antibiotics. He literally only glanced at the acne on my face. When I said the cleanser also wasnt working, he sent me back up to the estheticians so they could sell me a different one. The office is beautiful and then staff up front is nice, but the quality of care is awful in my opinion. I understand that medicine takes some time to work, but I didnt feel like I was really cared for here. I felt like I wasted my money, and I was just another patient putting $$$ in his wallet.

Today I took my daughter to see Dr. Terrill for her acne. We received a prescription for low level acne medicine last month. It worked well and when I called and told the office staff the same and requested a refill, we were told we would need to schedule a follow up visit. There was no reason for the follow up. The medicine she takes can be taken perfectly safely for extended periods of time, according to the doctor. The doctor entered the exam room at 4:12 pm. He exited at 4:14 pm. Why on earth did we come here for a follow up exam, if you can call it that, other than to pay another office visit fee? On top of all that, we were told to come back in 90 days for another follow up. Why? He assured me the medicine could be taken for an extended time, years even, very safely. So why come back? For another office visit fee of course. This is the same scenario we experienced a year ago and that my husband experienced two years ago with this same Office. Goodbye Sonoma Skin Works and goodbye Dr. Terrill. We wont be coming for any more follow up visits. We will be finding a new dermatologist. Terribly disappointed. Two thumbs down.

Its been awhile that Ive been so frustrated with an office. The initial visit went well, but it was downhill after that. I had to have my labs drawn prior to initializing therapy. I had my labs drawn on a Friday, and I was suppose to receive a call on Monday to start therapy. Monday comes with no call. So I have been leaving a voice msg with medical assistant for 3 days straight without a call back. I finally get through because I explained the situation to the front desk and I was finally patched through. Turns out, Im suppose to receive an email from ipledge and answer a few questions prior to receiving the prescription. Its been exactly 1 week with no email. For all I know i may have deleted this email thinking it was spam. When I questioned the staff about my monthly blood draws - guess they forgot that too. I am a nurse by profession, and Ive never witnessed such incompetence. If Im lucky, it may only take 2 weeks after the initial office visit to finally start on my treatment. The physician may be great, but you unfortunately spend 90% of the time with his office staff. Dont think its worth dealing with.

I had a little red spot on my face. Dr. Terrill explained the obvious to me, but no diagnosis. He said it was caused by exposure to the sun, and ASKED me IF I would like to get rid of it. What was I there for? I said yes, and he scheduled another visit for the the procedure, and warned me that , depending on his findings, it could cost up to 270 dollars, not covered by my excellent health insurance. This visit took me less than one hour: 45 min. in the waiting room, 15 min in the office, including a total body screening for sc. Then I decided to see another dermatologist. I waited less than 5 min to see her. She took a sample for biopsy, called me a week later with the results. It was a pre-cancer lesion. We scheduled another visit to freeze it off for safety. The whole procedure takes less than 2 minutes! All costs taken care of by my health insurance.

I went to have a cyst removed from my head May of 2016, but it came back after being told that once the sac is removed it wouldnt come back, Well not only is it back its bigger than before and is a little painful. A side not when it was time to have my stitches removed one of the office assistants actually left a stitch in my head after I asked her was she certain she had removed all three of them. She actually lied to my face which really upset me me once I realized that there was still one in my scalp after several days. I returned and the head lady under Dr. Terrill saw me. She made sure all the stitches were removed. Dr. Terrill was pleasant and the facility is very clean and nice. Im just upset that I have to go back again for the same issue. Hopefully this time he will be successful in removing everything so that it doesnt return.
