Please do NOT waste your time going to this office. A basic family physician would be better than going here. The man that runs the front desk was WONDERFUL, as was the male assistant the day that I went. They are the only reason I was able to give this office one star. The PA was obviously in a HUGE hurry to get out of there, and I was preventing her from doing that. She buzzed around the room from here to there, mumbling constantly and talking to herself. She told me that I would have to schedule another appointment (but in their Plano office) to see the doctors for two small spots on my face. No more than 30 seconds later, she turned around and froze them off in a frenzy. I asked what she was doing, and she said, "Dont worry... this will heal in 7-9 days". It wouldve been very nice to know this BEFORE she started! I didnt realize that she was going to go ahead and take them off after telling me that she couldnt do it. I had an important meeting just 3 days later, and I wound up attending with a huge blister that went from the corner of my eye to my hairline! She doesnt take any time to explain what she is doing before she does it. This is fundamental when working with patients. If the healing process and time had been explained to me, I never wouldve let her do this on that particular day. Besides, she had just told me that I needed to go to the Plano office to have them examined. In the 30 seconds it took me to put my shirt and shorts back on and leave the room, she had already picked up her purse and keys and was speed walking out of the door. It was more than obvious that I was preventing her from getting to something very pressing. Never mind the fact that I had a scheduled appointment and showed up on time for it. They are using some other doctors office that treats sick people. So when you sign in, touch the door knobs, etc... youre exposing yourself to a much higher risk of getting some sort of junk than you would be if it were solely a dermatologist office. The lighting in the exam rooms is TERRIBLE. The PA spent 30-60 seconds looking at my entire body in bad lighting and said that I looked fine and to come back in a year for another skin check. No thanks! I was interested in other services that their office claims to provide ($$$ anyone?), and there wasnt any time to talk about it at all. Ive given myself weeks to think this over and make sure that this wasnt just a knee-jerk reaction to the way I was treated in this office. Please take your precious skin, money, and time somewhere else if you want to be treated as a person and not a number.

I think Dr. Angel Puryear is amazing. She is young, very nice and courteous and clearly on top of everything. She offered me treatment for psoriasis which was effective, clearly explained and cutting edge. She runs very prompt and on time and has an amazing bedside manner. Her assistants are always nice and courteous. Dr. Puryear is amazing at follow through, and very thorough. She also sees my son for acne and he has improved significantly as well. I highly recommend her for anyone looking for a great dermatologist who is on top of everything new in the field.

They offer a very wide range of services which is what i like the most. The providers are incredible and very on top of newest things in the field. Ive seen Dr. Selkin, Puryear, and Lauren Hughes for skin checks and random other issues and all are very thorough and personable. Office is big, runs efficient, easy parking. They send in my scripts electronically so i dont have to wait at pharmacy. All have very good diagnostic skills and very efficient during visit. Highly recommend all of them.

Love Dr. Angel Puryear! Best bedside manner and on top of everything in her field. She figured out quickly what I have, called me personally, is on top of everything completely. All the meds she gave me she sent to a special pharmacy to save me on copay. She talked me out of a procedure I wanted and is toally honest. Live in Denton but travel to see her, well worth it! Whole clinic very nice and friendly. and recommend her highly to anyone looking for a great dermatologist!

Incredible service with excellent doctors. I have had several skin cancers surgically removed from my face by Dr. Gil Selkin. I could not be more impressed with his tremendous patient care and technical surgical skills. I would not trust anyone else to do this type of surgery. Dr. Bryan Selkin is excellent at preventive care and diagnostics. My round trip is 160 miles with plenty of other options, but I prefer this group. They have been the very best! DET

Have seen multiple providers and always had outstanding service. I find all very on top of things and know their stuff. Very accomodating offer me early morning appointments when needed, Drs also good about prescribing meds that are not too expensive. I have mainly seen Dr. Puryear and Nosrati there and I can say both can diagnose very well and are excellent with procedures. My family has found a great dermatology office.

After ten years of seeing Dr. Bryan Selkin, I couldnt ask for a better, more attentive and knowledgeable dermatologist. He doesnt just prescribe to treat a problem, but to help the person as a whole. He is caring and takes the time to listen and understand. I couldnt ask for a better doctor. His success is well deserved.

I will NEVER go back to this office. I didnt see Dr. Selkin personally, but their staff is ididotic. I told them 5 different times which pharmacy to call my prescription in and they couldnt do it. They have no idea which way is up, I will never set foot in their office again.

Great experience all around with Mara Dacso and the physician assistants. On time, gave great treatment, listened to my concerns carefully. Was called about biopsy results promptly. Communicated my results to my main doctor so when i went back he had this already.

Highly recommend Dr. Mara Dasco at Center for Dermatology. Incredibly kind and patient, really goes that extra mile for her patients. Staff and follow through also superb. Has lots of specialty certifications and very competent. Whole family now sees her.

Dr. Puryear and Lauren are incredible as are rest of staff. Also worked with me to get cheapest meds at best pharmacy. They go out of their way and all are nice and very good. Best derms in town.
