This place was HORRIBLE and DANGEROUS. Any reasonable person reading Yelp reviews will surely stay away at this point, but I wanted to add my experience. The vet tech working here, Allison, is a nightmare. She was instantly rude to me from the moment she walked into the exam room. I have a 10 week old kitten who has been sneezing excessively - he is a total sweetheart and my kids are in love, so I brought him in to make sure nothing funky was going on with his tiny self. She rolled her eyes at me when I answered any of her questions. I had a horrible gut feeling about her. She stated she needed to take his temp. We all know how thats done. I was petting and holding him on the exam table and she gave me no coaching and just proceeded with doing the deed. I was totally shocked when he started biting me all over my hands, deep punctures drawing blood that went all over me, my clothiing and his fur. Acting annoyed, Allison stated "I guess we will skip the temperature for now" and left the room. With no sink in the room, I began to scrounge around the drawers for an alcohol swab or something antibacterial to no avail. The vet was pretty surprised when he entered the room to find me bleeding, and took me to the back to thoroughly wash my hands in the sink. No one ever apologized or had one iota of basic human compassion or remorse. When I returned home, I began to research my patient rights and found that - "It is below the standard of care to allow an owner to restrain their pet for any veterinary procedure" ... This is the veterinary code of law. I have many photos of how badly wounded my hands were and plan to pursue this to the full extent of my abilities. Seriously. This place is a dumpster fire. I encourage you to stay far, far, FAR away.

I got two very tiny teacup-sized Pomeranians (Kodiak and Cheddar) a month ago. I wanted to take them to a place nearby when one of my puppies started behaving strangely and vomiting. Canton Animal Hospital was only a few steps away from my apartment and open late, I called immediately telling them the situation, and they got me in quickly, they were open until 9:00PM. The moment I walked in, the vet techs and front desk staff were amazing...they loved on my puppies and I felt like we had all been old friends! Theyre extremely friendly, conscientious, professional, and upbeat. They all clearly care about animals and their jobs. ;) Dr. Lubana as a person -- unbelievably nice and welcoming. As a vet, very sweet with my scared pups and very professional. Seeing as my puppies were only 1 and 2 pounds, he didnt take any chances because he knew how quickly they could go down hill, and put him on some antibiotics on a hunch. His hunch turned out to be right, and my puppy was fine and bouncing around the next day! The next time I went in for there shots I got my appt with Dr. Grewal. Like Dr. Lubana, she took the time to explain everything to me slowly and clearly...both vets were very through. They are gentle with the dogs, loving, and never strictly clinical. They treated my dogs like their own. The place is definitely worth going some other reviews have said they try to sell, no they tell you what your pet needs, it is your decsion. Ive definitely received high-quality care. Thanks, Canton Animal Hospital...;) Ill see you in 3 weeks for their next round of puppy shots!

We cannot say enough good things about the Canton Animal Hospital. The staff, and especially, Dr. Lubana, were so loving and caring. Our Choc. Lab., Shelby became very sick over the weekend. Our usual Vet. was closed, so we needed to get him in somewhere right away. My husband drove by and stopped in. They gave us an appointment that morning with Dr. Lubana. Dr. Lubana saw Shelby and knew he had a very sick dog. He took his time with us. He explained everything up front, including, what tests would need to be done, and the cost. We cannot recommend Dr. Lubana, enough. He called us with Shelbys blood work results as soon as he received them. Dr. Lubana, instinctively knew how nervous I was about the seriousness of Shelbys illness. Dr. Lubana, assured me all the time that everything would be alright, and that he would be there for Shelby, and for us. I am baffled by the negative reviews. Raising a dog is not cheap. You accept that responsibility when you purchase your dog. Its like having a child. We are switching from our old Vet. to Dr. Lubana, and the Canton Animal Hospital. Thank you for the wonderful care!

Dr. Lubana and his Staff are Amazing. We have been taking our three cats to them for over 5 years and we have never had a bad experience. We moved from the Canton area to Milford for two years and we could never find a vet that was as good as Dr. Lubana. We recently moved back to Canton and have taken our cats to him. Dr. Lubana is always calm, empathetic, and very clear on the diagnosis and treatment necessary for our pets. I have found him to be very reasonable and is always up front on the costs associated with treatment. He reviews what needs to be done and provides the total cost up front before you make the decision to move forward. Our eldest Cat (12 years old) had to be euthanized due to congestive heart failure. Dr. Lubana and his team helped our family and our cat Sophie pass in peace and with compassion. I was so moved at how they handled the situation, I sent a gift basket to him and his staff. Dr. Lubana truly cares about his patients and their owners well being. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about him and his staff.

My 7yr old Bichon had a spinal injury, and my normal vet was unable to see him, even though his condition was getting worse rapidly to the point where he couldnt walk or have a bowel movement. Dr. Lubana was able to see him, examine him, and started treating him. I left him with Dr. Lubana for several days and he started getting better, and I was able to take him home. Spike (named that because of his spiky hair when he was a pup) made a full recovery with Dr. Lubanas help. That was seven years ago, and Dr. Lubana has been his vet ever since. We use the animal hospital for all of our boarding needs - just recently boarded him there. The staff is great, and Spike, now going on 14 yrs old, is always happy to go there, for whatever reason. I was very distraught when I brought my dog in for his back problem, in tears thinking he was dying in my arms, and Dr. Lubana helped both my dog and me through that. His charges and billing have always been fair, and he is upfront with the cost of care. Dr. Lubana is my vet for life.

My dog was very ill and my regular vet was unable to see us for two days. The staff at Canton Animal Hospital was very kind and scheduled an appointment within a few hours (on a Saturday) Dr. Lubana was very thorough and spent a good deal of time with us. He ordered x rays, ran blood work, and sent us home with prescriptions and very detailed instructions. The prices were in line with what we typically paid at our regular vets office. Conditions did not improve, and my (regular) vet asked to see the blood work and x-rays. Canton Animal Hospital was very generous in providing those test results. Dr. Lubana even came out to the reception area to inquire about my dog. When I told him that I was taking the test results to another vets office, he replied "Its always good to get a second set of eyes on these things." Unfortunately, neither vet could help my poor little dog, but Dr. Lubana saw her when no one else would. I would definitely go back for the kindness and care that this office offers.
