Our little kitty has been so sick, clearly something neurological, and we were having the hardest time finding a vet that seemed to care as much as we did, and whose concern was more for her well-being than an attempt to throw loads of tests at us that we knew she didnt need. I moved here recently from Georgia where I worked for over a decade in a veterinary diagnostic laboratory. So basically, I can smell BS and needed to find a doctor for my fur babies who was compassionate, knowledgeable, and respectful. I hate being talked down to. I finally found all of those qualities and more with the good people at Pet Authority. Dr. Hutchinson, as well as Katie (the tech) and the rest of the staff, are caring and helpful. They did their very best to get us to a diagnosis/treatment without squeezing us for money. While my main concern is having the best possible care, its also important that we do it as economically as possible because we have many pets who all deserve great care. If you are looking for a veterinarian who fits all of the above criteria, with an amazing office, to boot, then run immediately to Pet Authority. I have searched and searched for a place just like this since my move. I am now one happy human and I cant wait to bring the rest of my family to meet them.

My Husband and I have been bringing our Border Collie, Isabelle to Pet Authority for years. We moved to Ferndale 3 years ago and the drive was just too much. I cannot say enough good things about Pet Authority! Dr. Hutchinson and all of the staff are so kind! Isabelle has seizures and Dr. Hutchinson understood that we didnt want to keep her on her meds if we could help it and we were always talking about slowing taking her off of them. We hadnt had her spayed and he never made me feel guilty about this. I say all of those things because the Vet weve moved to (and will be leaving) has made me feel guilty for not having her fixed. When this new Vet found a mass on Isabelle, the Dr. casually said , "oh and she probably has breast cancer..." like it was nothing. My Husband and I have considered returning to Pet Authority despite the distance because of their wonderful service. I would recommend Pet Authority to anyone in that area. They are wonderful!!

I can say nothing negative about Pet Authority Animal Hospital. Dr. Gloria Williams has always explained everything to me in lengthy detail as my Yorkie, Pretty Lady Benzie, has had a few horrific accidents in her now 9 years of life. Dr. Gloria Williams has always been by our side to ease my worries and give us the best laid out plan to make sure my Benzie lives with me for as long as God has planned (maybe even longer). The treatment plans have always been fully explained verbally and in writing for me to choose which ones I would like to go forward with and which ones I can afford at that time. They even go as far as to calculate ways to make the bill less using their Wellness and Vaccination Programs. I am very thankful for Dr Gloria along with Pet Authority Animal Hospital and Highly recommend.

I came in with my little kitten Angel yesterday because she was unfortunately attached by a husky. This team was absolutely amazing really fast in and out and really cared about her and they treat your money like its theres which is a really great thing to see and hear if ever i need anything else this is where i will be going she got a emergency visit, an x-ray and her medication all right there and again fast and the bill was only $180 i was and still am amazed if i took her to another place i called they said there x-rays started at 150 and go up depending on how many she would need to see if there was any damage. But thanks to the amazing staff Angel is now walking again and eat her food i could never thank you guys enough, thank you so very much for caring for my little Angel.

I recently switched from another vet down the road to pet authority, and am so glad I did! I actually came in for a dental consultation on my dog because her teeth were looking pretty nasty to me. The vet there was completely honest and let me know that it really wasnt needed. He told me he would rather me start brushing her teeth more often than put her under to do a cleaning. I feel like many vets in the area would not tell you this. They would rather go along with what you though, and take your money by telling you they absolutely needed the cleaning or their teeth would fall out! The employees there are very helpful and I just couldnt be happier!

Brand new to Waterford with a brand new German Shepherd pup- after doing some research I saw nothing but great raves about Pet Authority. We had his first check-up today, and boy was I impressed! Having been to many facilities in Troy with my family dog in the past, Ive never been to one so friendly & so nicely set up. Constant great advice, information, & love at Pet Authority. If youre looking for a new vet look no further; four thumbs up (including Coopers)!

Brought my nervous rescue here for the first time recently after being frustrated with the impersonal care we received at his old vet. I LOVED this practice. The staff is very friendly! The vet was in the room with us for approximately 20 minutes answering any and every question I had. She recommended some potentially helpful treatment options, but wasnt pushy. Overall a great visit! Im happy to say Ive found a trustworthy vet for my dog.

My family has been going to Pet Authority for over 10 years and has had nothing but positive experiences. The staff is always pleasant and helpful, and Dr. Hutchinson is fantastic. He always take the time to answer questions and thoroughly discuss any concerns you have regarding your pet. I never feel like my wallet is being taken advantage of either, which is a huge plus.

The Pet Authority is only an authority on ripping people off and charging for services not rendered. They are more expensive than most vets. and change their prices after getting you in the door, with add-on proceedures and unneccessary vacines. I wouldnt even give one star. Spend your money more wisely at another vet!

Excellent experience. We were on vacation in Michigan and needed a vet. They saw us quickly, and were incredibly thorough. The Drs really took their time and left no stone unturned until they knew what was wrong with our pup. The clinic was clean, the staff was friendly and very knowledgeable... I highly recommend!

Pet Authority has taken care of my dogs for 18 years, and I do mean care. They discuss any concerns you may have and find potential problems your animal may develop. They have always given me a detailed list of charges before performing any procedure. you

My advice regarding this clinic is to get a second opinion concerning your pet after visiting Pet Authority. The second opinion I received and followed through with quite possibly saved my pets life and saved me about $1000.. The surgery was not needed.

This is a great veterinarian office! The staff are all friendly and very accommodating. Ive only been bringing Scout here for about a month so far but I have nothing but great things to say in that time! The doctors are also friendly and knowledgeable.
