My kitty hasnt eaten or drank for more than 2 days other than what we forced into him. He has been vomiting clear liquid or gagging also for more than 2 days. I visited this office on the 27th and after $461 worth of testing including blood work and x-rays (and that included a discount because I was upset with the lack of diagnosis), I was told my kitty is just fine. Nothing is wrong with him other than slight dehydration. He was given fluids and anti nausea medicine same day only. When I asked what I should do at home, I was told that if he isnt better tomorrow, bring him back for a free x-ray. Then they might prescribe surgery at the expense of $2,000. I was repeatedly told he was fine, even after 48 hours without food, water, or any litter use. Anyone familiar with cats knows that 48 hours without those things means bodily functions start failing. When I expressed this concern, I was brushed off with an explanation of humans having an upset stomach or needing their appendix removed. Not at all the same thing. At home several hours later, he is still gagging every time food and even water is put in front of him. I cannot spend another $400-2000 because the vet didnt diagnose and cure him on my first visit. I felt as though the end result of my visit, was an expectation for another visit which would be even more expensive than the first. Especially since I was given no game plan for his care, no instructions for how to help, no medicine for future days, and I was asked no discovery questions just in case it was something other than the normal issues. I was never asked if I had changed food recently, if he is indoor or outdoor, or if there are other cats in the house. I was told nothing beyond he is fine (he clearly isnt) and I have done my job. That is a direct quote and made me so uncomfortable I actually asked if I could take my kitty home. I will never go here again. I plan to take all of my test results to another vet.

If youre looking for a highly trained, compassionate veterinarian you have found the one! Dr. Trey Jones, DVM at Polo Park Animal Hospital is an amazing veterinarian. I took my teacup yorkie to numerous vets prior to being referred by a vet tech friend to Dr. Jones. My yorkie had lost her quality of life at only 14 months old! She was loosing weight, very lethargic and would cry in pain. Dr. Jones, along with his amazing staff nursed her back to health. As many pet owners do, I think of her as one of my kids. I knew as soon as I handed her over to Dr. Jones we had finally found the right vet. So, from the bottom of our hearts my baby, Kimber and I THANK YOU Dr. Jones! A big thank you to all of your staff as well for their knowledge, attentiveness and love for animals. *To all of you pet owners reading these reviews, youre obviously considering making a switch in veterinarians or establishing with a veterinarian...give Dr. Jones a try and you too will be leaving a 5 star review soon.

We have been using this office for 3 years now but had such a bad experience today that we will never return. My dog needs allergy medication for the rest of her life. I found the pills for a forth of the price online but the vet office refused to give me a copy of the prescription. I have been buying the pills there for 3 years and told them that I found them much more affordable. They didnt want to budge. I went into the clinic to buy the pills for my dog and they then refused to sell them to me unless they checked my dog again which they would charge me a fee for. I have never had to do this before! Dr J wouldnt even come out to speak to me! They ended up selling me half the pills I usually get for only $5 less. I will never return and am very disappointed to see they treat long term customers that way. Again, we waited to talk to the vet himself but he never came out of his office.

Saw Dr. Jones for the first time last year with one of my kitties. He was wonderful with our cat and spent a few minutes talking and playing with him to calm him down to relax for the appointment. I am so grateful to Dr. Jones for taking that extra time instead of rushing thru the appointment. Dr. Jones was also very informative which was also so important to me. My kitties are now due for their annual shots and I just made the appointment with Polo Park Animal Hospital with no hesitation. I have no doubt that my kitties will be well taken care of by Dr. Jones. I really liked Dr. Jones and wish him well in this new location. My kitties are now seniors and I am sure Dr. Jones will treat them with tender loving care as he did my first visit to Polo Park Animal Hospital.

Dr. Jones and his front desk receptionist are amazing. Without a doubt, he is the best vet in all of Florida. Our little boy, a jack russell named Ziggy, had an extremely painful broken nail. We took him to another frantic vet who made us panic by saying that he needed to be sedated in order to fix it. When we brought him to Dr. Jones, we were immediately soothed by his calm composure. He fixed our boy in a minute. Dr. Jones and his staff are genuine, compassionate, and truly care. He wont recommend anything unnecessary, just to make an extra buck. Everyone should know about Dr. Jones. Id give him and his team 10 stars if I could!! Thank you!

Great experience very clean. My normal vet is out of town for a week and my dog needed to be seen asap. I called and explained my situation and they got us in asap even though they were booked. When I went to pay after my dog was seen I expected a hefty bill for the squeeze in and check up plus medication. To my surprise the cost was lower then my own vet. The staff was super friendly and showed concern for my pups well being. I was turned away from 2 other vets in the area even after hearing the dangerous issues my dog was going through with diarrhea after whatever he ate. They wanted me to come back next week.

Very happy with the entire staff. They are so very caring to my 3 dogs. The vet really knows his stuff, he explains everything and doesnt recommend therapy that is not needed. They are definitely not just looking for money, they really care about the animals. You can always get them on the phone and it is easy to make an appointment. The office is spotless, probably the cleanest vet office I have ever seen! They also treat the pet parents just as wonderfully! I would highly recommend if you are looking for a new vet.

This staff is unbelievable. They go above and beyond everything Ive ever experienced with a vet hospital. My pup has some health issues and Polo Park staff is more than willing to see him and get him taken care of quickly and properly. Ive never felt overcharged or as though there were unnecessary fees like I have at many other places. My dog is very excited to go see his vet and techs, even though he gets shots almost every time. Amazing. Highly recommended!
