I was referred here in an emergency by my vet. I also have heard that its worth the time to go to Greenville if its possible. I was so afraid for my dog I took the chance. The wait was long, the care was poor, and the place was DIRTY. I sat my dog down for a second and was having to get fleas off of him. Thank God hes on trifexis! A lady came in and asked me what was going on and I told her that my vet said they were sending everything over so they would know what to do. She huffed and said I got to check on the prices and never come back. Finally I put my head out the door and asked if someone was coming back to let us know something. I was concerned about the urgency of his problem and was wandering what was going on. The lady got agitated and said "mam you need to understand that there were people here before you." I shut one door and went out the other. While asking for my paper work someone came out and said that the lady was on the phone with my doctor trying to come up with a treatment plan. I asked for my paper work so I could go to Greenville emergency vet. They did. After I was on the road I got a call expressing how emergent the situation was and how my doctor had given them a treatment plan. Why did they need my doctor? Because theirs wasnt gonna be there until 10pm. Went to Greenville and was so happy I did. The treatment plan was based off of false lab values. The vet in Greenville had enough sense to see that something wasnt right. Redrew the labs and they came back normal. Had they treated him without rechecking the values they may have killed him. The vet in Greenville was great. Communicated his thoughts and concerns wonderfully and offered a reasonable explanation for the event my dog had. The wait in Greenville did take a minute but it is worth the excellent treatment. I will never go back to Sptbg emergency vet. If you can, go to Greenville, your fur babies life might depend on it!

I took my dog to the clinic after he broke his leg. Our wait was at least 30-45 minutes and they seemed to not be in a hurry. The vet did some x rays of my dogs leg to see the fracture. She told me to come back in about an hour. They had splinted my dogs leg and told me that it was not set very well and my regular vet would have to re-set it. They gave me some pain pills for him and handed me a bill for $420.00! I could hear my dog screaming in the back and just wanted to get him out of there. I paid the bill and left. My vet DID have to re-set the bones by doing surgery on the leg. He said that splint they had put on was not helping at all. I would never pay the hospital full price for doing a crummy job.... I called the emergency vet with my concerns and they informed me that they did the best they could and that is all they do. They would NOT refund any of my monies. I would never recommend this place. My vet said to always go to Greenville with an emergency. That tells me alot!

Recently had an incident with my 7 month old puppy. I came home to find him injured. Decided around 9:30 that night to take him in to be seen by the vet because he was obviously in pain. The front desk staff was fantastic and they got me in quickly, and thats the only reason why they are getting two stars. The vet was very impersonal and did not take into account what I was telling her. I asked her a few times to shave down an area on my dog I had a concern about and said she didnt see the need to. It is now a week later and I am at my vets office and his infection has spread and now covers about half of his back, including the area where I suspected there to be more scabbing/infection. After a 320$ vet bill I will not be returning. The care I received was subpar at best and would recommend anyone look elsewhere if possible.

I took our Yorkie here on April 2, 2016 after he got hurt from rough-housing with our golden retriever. Everyone was extremely kind and accommodating, from the friendly girls up front to the vet tech, and to the veterinarian herself. They made sure to quote me the price of everything prior to performing the exam, X-ray, etc., which was very considerate. Our Yorkie had to stay for a few hours for cold laser therapy to reduce the swelling on his nose and observation, and he was happy and alert when I came to get him. The lovely vet tech even gave me some pill pockets in order to assist my dog in taking his prescribed medication. I am so glad I chose this emergency office over the one in Greenville! The staff is wonderful, friendly, and caring. It is obvious that they love what they do and love animals!

My dog was bleeding severely after getting in a fight with another dog. After searching for an emergency veterinarian, I brought my dog in to CARE and they took a look at him right away. There werent many emergency clinics for animals in Spartanburg, but I was relieved to find out this place exists. So I came at around 1 am in the morning (they were open this time), and since this was an emergency they didnt take too long with the processing. After about an hour my dog was said to be fine, but since they had to stitch him up in many parts of his body, I was told to come pick him up later on the next day so they can keep watch on him. My dog is fine now, but I am just so grateful that this place was able to help. I cant thank them enough!

Dr. Mornane has been a real blessing to my family. He took great care of my furbaby Diablo when He needed his ear stapled. He even kept in touch to make sure he was okay 3 days later, then afterwards then he took his staples out a week later and the place looks PeRfEcT! His assistant Carl was nice and just picked him up and took him straight back. The ladies at the front desk on both sides (the CARE side and Groomers) was just as nice as can be and really informative. They truly love their jobs and on the groomers side and I think a couple ladies fell in love with Diablo

These are the kindest and most proficient veterinarians and animal technicians in the SC Upstate. We are SO fortunate to have this resource available to us for emergency animal care. We have had three animal emergencies in the past few years and Care Animal Emergency Clinic was always there for us. Not only do they have the best doctors, their technical staff is loving, caring and outstanding! We had to put down our beloved old dog and they were so compassionate and caring not only about our pet but for us as well. Thank you Team Care!

These people are great!! I went on spring break and found an abused puppy. So badly he couldnt walk. Brought him home and took him here. The service was great and they were very considerate that I was a college student on a budget. Some vets make you feel like they dont have time for you but Dr. Latrimore was so calm and helpful we enjoyed working with them so much!! A couple weeks later our new puppy is mending very well. And we are eternally grateful!! Any emergency we have with our pets again we are rushing them here!
