7.17.17 i took my 17 year old cat in because she was unable to keep food or water down. They gave me options but i know she couldnt stand to be pricked multiple times from rehydration also with her old age. She had been with me her entire life and we have a lifetime of memories so i made the decision to lay her to rest. They never tried to change my mind or tell me whats best. They made me comfortable and answered all my questions and concerns. When it was time they put up a sign and some flameless candles to ask for quiet because someone was saying goodbye to a pet. I held her in my arms and they let her pass easily. They gave me and my baby privacy for as long as i needed and even brought me a brush so i could brush her one last time and have some hair for when her remains are returned to me. I asked many times if i qas going to recieve her and not another pet and they walked me through how they were gonna track her identity. Im waiting to get her back but im forever greatful for their support. RIP Jessie

Really disappointed in this whole organization but especially this office. After going to many different locations and being on the essential wellness plan for two years I have only found one common theme. Terrible customer service. The desk staff have on multiple occasions been far less than helpful and the doctors even more so. Rude attitude, not interested in helping, and made almost every visit feel as though it was a burden. I had to follow up multiple times to get the medicine for my dog as it kept being put off and when promised I would be notified when I needed to come in to pick up her medicine I ofcourse never was. Also, even after all the things "included in the plan" somehow you still always end up paying when leaving. If I could get out of the wellness plan I happily would and I absolutely will not be joining again.

We loved the Banfield in Charleston, but do not care for this Banfield location. In addition to not having the utmost confidence in all of the veterinarians who rotate at this location, a vet tech overdosed our dog on heart-worm preventative after we specifically requested multiple times (over several visits) he no longer receive pro-heart injections. I do understand mistakes can happen, but I simply cannot trust the people at this location with my animals. I expect to be able to trust that my dogs and cats will not be potentially harmed when I take them to the vet. This whole situation is just very sad and I hope this location improves its practices.

excellent service. The Vets are very caring as well as the rest of the staff. Ive been taking my dogs there for 6 years and have no complaints. The wellness plans I have for each of my 3 dogs has saved me tons of money. The staff all know my dogs and treat them as they would treat their own pets. I can speak to the Vet whenever I go to Petsmart and its rare if I have to wait more than 10 minutes even if I dont have an appointment. Their hours are very convenient. I highly reccommend this pet hospital!

Ive been coming to this vet for over 8 years and the customer service has really gone downhill. Even if youre on the wellness plan, they still dont try to help you when your pet needs to see the veterinarian. If Im told to go somewhere else, why am I even paying for the wellness plan? This is the second time within a year that Ive been treated poorly by this particular pet hospital.

The quality of care is very high, and the people are very nice. However, like all Banfields (weve used 3 over the years) the prices are high, and there is constant pressure to sign up for expensive plans. The plans actually will save you money in the long run if you do take your dogs for frequent visits and rentals, but that savings is verses Banfields prices.

Everyone here has been extremely helpful to my husband and i with caring for our for rescue cats. 2 are FIV positive and 1 recently diagnosed with diabetes. They have been nothing but supportive and informative. They love all our cats even the 1 diabetic cat who hates being handled. I wouldnt think of ever going elsewhere.

Dr. George and the entire staff at Banfield are terrific. They are caring and very concerned about the welfare of their patients. Everyone is involved in making the experience a good one for both pets and their owners. I only wish my doctors would be half as good as the Banfield Staff. Kudos to all!

Dr George and all the staff at Banfield are AWESOME! They really care about your fur babies and do all they can to make my 2 feel loved. They even treat my nervous chihuahua/beagle like a princess even though shes not happy to be there. I highly recommend this Banfield in Spartanburg @ Petsmart.

Brought my pup in yesterday after she got into some grapes and became very ill. I must say Dr Carver and his staff were amazing! They nursed by baby right away and 24 hrs later she was right back to her normal self. I am so grateful for this place and would recommend to anyone

These people were so great when we had an emergency with our 13 year old dog (sweet Fancy) and had to make the difficult decision to stop her suffering. I honestly cant say enough about their compassion. I will always be grateful as will my family. Thank you!

If you want someone that really cares about your pet, Banfield Spartanburg is the place to take your pets. Dr. George is awesome with all my dogs, she is a very compassionate and empathetic doctor. Love this place.

My wife worked here for years and we continue to take our pets there even after she left. The staff truly care for the pets that are entrusted to them and they have many ways of helping people afford the care.

Banfield pet hospital allowed a 4 month old puppy to die of parvo because they wouldnt sell the fluids needed to keep him alive. They are horrid vets and worthless human beings
