The staff were not only very helpful, They were also very compassionate in Dukes time of need. See Duke had went into cluster seizures and he wasnt going to make it. We were in the middle of moving out of state and we just couldnt afford to put him down (which about killed as well) I called the vet office at approximately 2am on Christmas eve. I told them I couldnt afford to put him down. He apologized for not being able to help and hung up with me. Less than 2 minutes later my phone rang and he told me that they didnt want him to suffer and to bring him in. The only thing that they said I had to do was bring Duke home with me afterwards. DEAL!!! I wouldve brought him home to be buried anyhow! He was my youngest son and meant the world to me and I miss him every day! I WANT TO THANK YOU ALL AGAIN FOR YOUR KINDNESS & COMPASSION DURING A TRAGIC TIME IN MY LIFE . .. Your love and devotion to animals is admirable! You all were my heroes that night to you did what I couldnt do and eased his pain. I know hes in a better place.. and is pain and seizure free... But I do miss him every single day. He will forever be loved & missed... and Nerver Forgotten.

If I could give negative stars I would! I will NEVER go here again! You will only be playing Russian roulette with your pets life. Depending on how busy they are, who is on duty and what type of illness your pet has. If your pet has a seizure, they may be left for dead like our kitty was. Also, they ask if you want your pet left on a ventilator and then literally 5 minutes later take her off of it!! DO NOT TRUST THEM AND DO NOT LEAVE YOUR PET WITH THEM!! The worst "bedside manner" Ive ever encountered in my lifetime, and Im almost 60. Our kitty died before our eyes in an excruciatingly painful way. I screamed for help....no one came except some boys who stood looking at me and did nothing. The vet left us there alone while our cat died in an ANIMAL ER!! She did not show up for another 40 minutes or so AFTER our cat had been left off ALL comfort measures for at least 2 hours!! Absolutely unacceptable!!

If you want your pet to live I would advice taking it anywhere else but here. Took a dog in for a snake bite to get the anti venom shot so they took six x rays of her then said it was attacked by a coyote. When I went to pick her up in the morning they said she was perfectly fine and would make a 100% recovery when the dog was just clinging to life. She passed away before we even got out of parkersburg. Called back and they said that they did everything possible for her when they did not. She wouldve stood just as good of a chance if we wouldve kept her at home and saved the $1000 and not paid for useless medical service. Just about everything they did was not medically needed for a snake bit.

Jordan, the receptionist/tech was very kind, compassionate and efficient. Dr. Conlin was as well. They provided a very thorough exam but didnt do anything that was medically unnecessary. They were terrific! These negative reviews for this place are misleading and I felt compelled to let people know about my very positive experience. A great place to go when your vets office is closed! I hope I never have to use their services again but I will not hesitate to do so if I need to :-)

Always great to my cats, not too mention a few years ago I took my ferret to them & they were awesome with him. he turned out to be diabetic and thanks to their care lived happily another 8 months before going into uncontrollable seizures, at which time they were also very helpful explaining what he was going through to help our family make a decision best for our pet.

Ive taken 2 of my dogs there in the last few years, both with life threatening ailments. They did a wonderful job and saved them both. Personally, I didnt find the cost much higher than what I pay at the regular vet. Staff was honest and friendly, and most importantly, great with my dogs.

I have taken two of my cats here within two years and Ive had exceptional service both times. Even with one of my cats being the biggest cry baby ever, they were nice and polite. As long as theyre around, I wont take my cats anywhere else.

The people that work in this vet office do know what they are talking about. My problem is they dont have any actual concern for the pet or the pet owner. They are only concerned with money. They are all rude and they get rude very quickly.

Found badly wounded dog late at night and they refused to hold him until humane society picked him up. Very rude. Please take your animal elsewhere if possible. Would not recommend for anyone.
