Went in the 1st time for exam and glasses. Seemed to be kind of rushed though exam. Lady who helped me check out was very nice. Waited about 3 wks and no phone call so I call in and they said they are ready (they dont know why I didnt get a call) . I realize right away the prescription doesnt seem to be strong enough but give it a month in a half, go back in they check the lenses and they are right. Then they check the glasses I had on (which I explained is from the prescription they gave me so I didnt think they were right either) she goes in the back and said ok these are plastic (the ones I was wearing) and the glasses I got from them are of a different material and they are going to send them back in and change them to plastic lenses bc some people dont adjust. ( Now all I really wanted was a simple eye test to see if my eyesight was fine with the glasses on.. So now they are sending in my glasses I got from them for a cheaper pair without even knowing if the prescription is right. Than I wait about 2+ wks call them to see if they are in and they are in , yet again no phone call and again doesnt know why.. This has been a complete disappointment. I will never come back. Considering how much my glasses were you would think they would have just checked my eyes with a simple eye test rather than making new lenses and making me wait for perhaps no reason.

A few years ago, I had back surgery which left me in a wheelchair and unable to work any longer. I lost my insurance and had to get on Medicaid....I went to Rinkov for new glasses as I am VERY farsighted and needed new ones....I was fine with the exam and the person who helped me pick out the frames, but when I went back to pick them up, I was treated as less valuable as the customers who had insurance...I was not even asked if they fit right...The girl who waited on me just handed them to me and said "there you go "....as if she could care less about me. She did not even move the chair so I could get up to the table to try them on...I had to do it from where I was at ...I felt so belittled as she stared at the counter while I put them on and then she got up and walked away....Not to mention that the glasses were a piece of crap....Not sure that this is their fault or the governments, but the nose piece fell off within a month and I have to wear my old ones that I got back when I had vision insurance.....I feel as though they treated me differently since I was on Medicaid...Not sure I will go back....

I used to really like this place but then I had to come in for an emergency eye appointment due to an ulceration that urgent care couldnt treat. I came in on a Monday, waited almost an hour to be seen (which is fine because they were squeezing me in) then at the end of my appointment was charged over $180 out of pocket. They stated they took my eye insurance but not my medical insurance. So I paid the out of pocket costs and asked about my follow up appointment. The male technician told me the amount I paid today (Monday) covers my follow up on Friday. I go in Friday and after my appointment the female technician checked me out and asked for another $100+ payment. I told her I was not supposed to be charged and pointed to the male technician that told me that. She replied "he told you wrong." I left without paying and have now asked their manager and billing department to investigate further or allow me to make payments.

I would like to thank the entire staff at Rinkov Eyecare for making every visit a pleasant one. I have been to this location several times and the doctors and staff there always make me feel like I am part of their family. I can assure you that I have been to other optometrist and have not been pleased with the service I received while I was there. I am greeted by name when I enter the office and I love that! Becky always picks out frames that look great on me and they are usually something I would not have even taken into consideration. I get compliments on my glasses all the time! Thank you for helping me to look so good...

The staff are all friendly, the doctor answered all my questions and they helped me pick out a pair of frames and waited patiently while i chose the ones for me and made sure they fit right and were adjusted corectly for my face. I have been going to them for a while now and will continue to go to them and no one else. Please continue to keep up the good work.

I went in today and I was disappointed. The optician lady was very nice and helpful. But the optometrist pretends to be nice but is actually rude talks very fast and didnt seem to care about my concerns or questions. He rushed my vision exam as fast as he could just so he could finish. I tried to ask him my questions but didnt seem to care. Avoid at all costs.

We have gone to Rinkov Eye Care for many years and would not think of going anywhere else. The people there are very knowledgeable, polite and are really caring and take excellent care of us. We can go in anytime for adjustments and they are always helpful. I hope all of your locations are as good at West Broad Street.

Took a long time to get my glasses 18 months ago. After 5 attempts to get them fit and right I still had issues just figured it was me. Today I picked up a pair at Lenscrafters in tuttle mall .. and oh my god.. what a difference. The doc said very little script change but the quality of lens is soooo much better..

Ive been coming here since 1989 for my eye examinations and corrective lenses. I have a rather challenging prescription and the staff here is excellent. Dr. Rinkov and Dr Gardner are highly recommended. The staff are all top notch and the care they take is very evident.

My little daughter needed eyeglasses. We called and went to several places but they all were very expensive. Rinkov was the only one that had the lowest price when we called. So we decided to get the eyeglasses with them.
