I had hurt my eye the previous weekend and it continued to get worse. It turned out to be a corneal ulcer. It was Saturday morning and I really needed to be seen. I called Rinkov in Dublin and the lady who answered the phone was so helpful and kind. I called around 8:30 and was in the office by 9:25. I was seen right away by the technician who was also very nice and helpful..then Dr. Burroughs came to check out my injured eye. Right off the bat she was extremely concerned and very kind. She explained everything I needed to know about this dreaded ulcer and she answered all my questions happily even though she might have been pressed for time. There should be more doctors like her in the world. The staff at the front was also great. One of the staff members explained to me how the billing to my insurance will be done since this was an eyecare emergency. The lady who took my ID and insurance cards asked how my eye was and was also kind. I guess it makes a difference when you go to a healthcare facility and the people there are genuinely kind, caring and professional. I would have been alright if no one asked about my eye or showed care ... I guess if the doctor just looked at at my eye and gave me a diagnosis and if the staff just took the copay I owed.. my ego wouldnt have minded if that makes sense. Im not into the buttering up business. But when you go to a facility where the staff treats you kindly and has care, I think its wonderful and they should be noticed. I highly recommend Rinkov in Dublin.

I am giving this place a one star because my wife went in there for her appointment and they told her they cancelled it because they dont take her insurance. No phone call was made and this is the second time they cancelled on her. And the lady at the front had the nerve to say we cancelled it because of you insurance and the appointment can be costly. Then she proceeded to say it cost $80. Now I am furious first you cancel her appointment now youre making assumptions that we cant afford it but we would of been okay with paying that when she came in. Then they just stare at her like my wife was in the wrong. Do not go to this location other Rinkovs we have been to have been okay and taken our insurance. But this location is unprofessional and very judgmental people. DO NOT GO HERE.

I for the first time in my life had an eye exam it was a very pleasant exam as the Doctor was very good and did a very comprehensive examination. I gladly paid the $48 extra for the extra scoping of my eyes. My glasses were almost $1000.00 which I also gladly paid. I was told before my appointment that I would have a copy of my prescription to keep with me for my records. When I picked up my glasses I reviewed my prescription and noticed the pd measurement was not on the form I asked for the pd measurement and was told it would cost me $15.00 dollars more. This to me seems very petty as I am sure Rinkov eyecare made a very nice profit already. So after a very pleasant experience I left very disgusted and disappointed. I would like to cancel my Yearly follow up exam in advance

I had a great experience at Rinkov! The staff and doctor far exceeded my expectations! All showed a personal interest in my visit and health. I was very impressed with the doctor she took the time to talk to me, explain things, and made sure that I felt comfortable. Lisa was AWESOME!!! I really appreciated the time that she took with me in helping pick out my frames, to be a matter of fact I ended up choosing her suggestion. Everyone was very pleasant and kind. I am very grateful that I was referred to your office and am very thankful for the time and treatment I received!! You should be very proud of your staff at the Dublin location!! Thank you all so very much!

Didnt have much of a selection for glasses so I got my prescription, she wrote me a prescription that also had a bifocal and stigma recommendation so trying to get glasses with it has been a horrible pain. I dont need bifocals. Its not because I am in denial of being old, its because I dont need them. I finally got a pair with just the the stigma part in the prescription (the store I got glasses from said they have to follow the prescription) and they give me a headache. The doctor also tried to send me to a specialist that they scheduled for me after I left and then they tell me when and where I am supposed to go. I was able to cancel that appointment.

I have been a patient of Rinkov Eyecare Center in Dublin for the past 8 years. Every time I walk in the store I know I am going to get the best care possible. The optometrist at this location takes the time to listen to any concerns I have and makes sure to explain to me everything she is concerned about. She always treats me with respect and is a pleasure to talk to. Each time I pick out a frame I am confident I will find one I look great in. The staff at this store does a FANTASTIC job of telling me what looks great and what does not and I always end up getting compliments on my glasses. I recommend this company and location to all of my friends!

Horrible treatment. Was treated fine when dressed in suit. Was treated like trash when I had to fill in as a driver for my company and was in uniform. DR. Was nice but I guess the office staff couldnt tell if I was worth their time. So angry that I cannot remove the last star. I have asked to talk to someone several times and been ignored. I will continue to spread the word of the worst customer service experience in 15 years..thats says something. Avoid them at all cost. I would fire my employees if they were providing this level of sevice.

Great job! Ive been a patient for about 5 years and always get treated like a KING! I never have to wait, they get me in right away and the Doctor is always nice and concerned about my eye care and my health. They have the best people helping you pick out glasses, Lisa has helped me for years, she is the best at her job, and she has a sense of style that can make anyone look good in a pair of glasses. Rinkov Eyecare is the best place to go for your eye care and eye accessories. Thank you for making this a wonderful experience. Len

I have been very pleased to be a customer of Rinkov for the last 10 years. For a variety of reasons I had to switch to another eye place for a couple years. It was just not the same. The homey atmosphere I had come to thoroughly enjoy was lacking and I really wanted my children to eventually be customers of Dr. Burrows as well. My husband has been a customer of Dr. Burrows for about 15 years. When we were dating, the ladies working there made sure he got some really nice looking glasses, that I have been able to enjoy staring at for years.
