I am extremely disappointed in the care that my animal got from this hospital. I brought my ferret in because he hasnt eaten in three days and was unable to urinate and was crying every time he tried. He also hadnt eaten for three days and was very lethargic. I made an appointment here because when I called they said they deal with ferrets and its hard to find a vet close to me that does. When we first walked in the receptionist was very nice and friendly. We waited a few minutes before they brought us into the exam room. I couldnt even tell you the vet that examined my ferret because he walked in and did not even say hello or introduce himself to us. I put my baby onto the table and he barley even gave him an exam. He might have touched him for 45 seconds. He looked at me and said " There is nothing wrong with this ferret". I tried explaining the situation to him but he didnt really give me the time of day. He gave me a can of wet food and said he would prescribe some amoxicillin and sent me on my way. The whole "exam" was maybe 2 minutes long. While I was waiting it felt like every one was in such a rush. They went to hand me my medicine and one of the staff noticed it wasnt even the right thing. They fixed the problem and charged me $74.40 for what they call and "exam" and the medicine. I wish I could get my money back and get my poor guy examined by a real vet with some concern and compassion for my animal. I would never recommend this business to anyone. Please be cautious when taking your little baby here!

Well I started out liking them after they treated my dog so well. Now Im glad, in a sick sort of way, we only took her there to be put down after having a stroke. I have a rabbit and when I called for prices on an appointment I was told rabbits dont need check ups. Really? That must be why every regional house rabbit society website says a rabbit should have a check up every year. My mistake. I also didnt appreciate the way I was spoken to. I may not know everything about rabbits but apparently neither do they.

Dr. Force has been my vet for about 5 years. He helped me take care of my elderly cat when the cat became injured, and was both kind and professional when I made the difficult decision to put my beloved 21 year old cat to sleep in 2013. I got two sibling kittens the following year and Dr. Force and his amazing staff have been there to help me take great care of them. I know my cats, and my wallet, are in good hands at Forked River Animal Hospital!

I have heard all about the wonderful treatment Dr Force and his team have given to Annett/ dogs and puppies at Eden Orchard recently and his veterinary expertise and kindness has been exceptional. The utmost care, clinical expertise and compassion have been shown. Service like this is pretty exceptional and is very hard to come by. What a wonderful vet Dr Force is. Highly recommended to any animal owners.

The the entire staff seems to be very nice and genuinely care about the customers and the patients there. They sadly have a not so friendly person working the front desk which could potentially ruin the customer base for this establishment. If it werent for dr. Force being a good veterinarian we would have left this place.

I wanted to thank Dr Force and his staff for the kindness and care they have extended to Annette Wade at Eden Orchard. Shes had a very difficult time with a parvo outbreak and he was the only one to humanely offer assistance, medications, fluids and follow-up for her sick puppies. Thank you again for all youve a done !

This hospital is a great practice. They are as they say very affordable, friendly, a clean facility, knowledgeable and will not try to run unnecessary tests or prescribe extra medications just to make money off owners. I have and will continue to refer them to family and friends.

Dr Force & the crew always treat our 2 dogs right. Theyre always available on short notice & always find budget friendly options for treatments. Hes talked us out of an unnecessary treatment that would have cost more than $500-how many doctors would do that? Two thumbs up

Our dog is so at ease when going to the Forked Rive Animal Hospital, that we prefer to have his regular shots and checkups done in NJ. We travel and are very particular about who and how someone treats our dog. We have full trust in Dr. Force and his staff!

I agree with randy parkers comment. The woman working at the front desk is miserable. The dr and rest of staff is wonderful. Dr told me to return for a tech visit to have my dog ears cleaned at no charge, and the miserable woman tried to charge me.
