If you love your pets, I encourage you to read my review in its entirety. This is serious. I considered using Vetfield for my two kittens but I consider myself smart to have checked out the owner of the hospital, Mustafa Saleh, and thank goodness I did! I opted for a different Sunrise animal care facility after becoming way too alarmed at what I found. Now its up to you to read about Mustafas recent (and perhaps ongoing) mental health issues, by his own admission, and determine if you trust your pets under his care and supervision. In the words of his very own attorney, a blood relative no less, Mustafa Saleh recently has suffered (and may be continuing to suffer) from "mental and emotional distress and anguish" as well as "psychological damage." Wow. I mean I feel bad for this guy and all for his mental problems but this is not someone to whom I would ever, under any circumstance, hand over my beloved Snickers and Prickly Pete (yes, we are "Seinfeld" devotees). Anyway, I dont think a physician, for people or animals, who is suffering, or has recently suffered from, psychological damage should be allowed to diagnose or operate at all. That I dont think someone suffering from such mental problems should be allowed to maintain a professional license is my opinion entirely; the fact Mustafa Saleh recently suffered from these severe mental problems, again, is by his admission (Its on Page 10 of Broward County Civil Case Filing 47388963, which was submitted electronically to the court on Monday, October 10, 2016, at 09:30:38 and you can see Mustafa Salehs signature, six days earlier, affirming the truthfulness of his severe mental problems on Page 12 of that very document). A vet suffering from "psychological damage" is gonna give my kitties a physical and perhaps prescribe medication? I dont think so. Good luck to all and thanks for reading. Proceed cautiously and at your own peril here.

If your pet has seizures or epilepsy do not go to this doctor. I am concerned for your pet’s health and I say this with certainty. If you decide to go to this vet, pay attention to the response you get when you ask “why”, which we should all ask, especially when it comes to medication and the health of a loved one. If you get a ‘just because or trust me’ please worry and research. There should be medical explanations for altering medication. The office management is unreal, lacking professionalism and customer service because they do not respond to emails. I sent 3 (that I can immediately recall) emails, which received automated response that they will contact me in 24 to 48 hours and I received no response. My insurance company did the same, calling and emailing and they did not get a response either. I called and left a message to please call me, but I had to call them because I did not receive a call. I then had to call my insurance company and merged a call with the office manager (talk about making the customer work!). The office manager did not have a reason for the lack of response other than issues with their internet provider or mail system. Sorry, but emails spanned 2 months and if they can’t fix that issue they need new office manager because this affects their customers. I highly recommend other vets. There are several in the area to choose from.

I could not agree with Linda more. Dont be fooled by their friendly staff, because this is an "upgrade clinic". I was told before coming that my dog’s tests would be $75, but then he told me additional tests needed to be done, and said "trust me", and I ended up with a one month prescription for her diabetes and a bill of $248.53!!! (Other doctors gave at least 5 refills!). He told me additional refills would be ok; but now he wants another $250 so he can do more extensive checks just to be sure. I really have a financial burden now, and asked how much is it to euthanize my 13 year old best friend, and was told it was $125. When I said thats what I would need to do, he just replied that if thats what I thought was best, he understood. Dont be mislead by the simplistic look to his office, hes designed nothing but a factory money making business. I would suspect thats why his office is never busy, and openings are always available. His assistant Rocky is a gentleman, but this Doctor Saleh Mustafa, DVM should be "put down" for a total lack of empathy.

If I could I would give them NO STARS! My dog was having runny stool for a week or so. I brought her to Vetfield The vet told me my pet had parvo and quarantined me and my pet which didnt feel very good. Then wanted to charge me $900.00 to to hospitalize her for 3 days and run fluids through her system. Then they told me I can choose what I want them to do...how am I supposed to know what to do?!! They are the vets. I ended up telling them to do the parvo test as process of elimination. I called a few other places to get an opinion on this, and they told me that if my dog had parvo for a week that she would be dead already and wouldnt be running around playing with energy. I took a stool sample to a mom/pop vet and we found out she just had hookworms. They gave us medication for it and our baby was just fine. When Vetfield called to give me my results I already knew she didnt have parvo. I will never bring her back to Vetfield, they made me believe thew worst was happening and that I could lose her if I didnt hospitalize her.

I had used the same vet for over 25 years. Since his retirement two years ago I have tried a few different vets and have been unhappy. Finding a stray kitten seemed to direct me to Dr. Saleh. Not only was Crystal wonderful enough to squeeze me in but from the minute I walked in the door I knew I had found the right place. Everyone that took me though the process was warm and caring. My little kitten was about six weeks old and weighed two pounds. He had mange, ear mites, worms and fleas. Dr. Saleh is the most caring and compassionate vet and I feel to grateful to have found him. Its been only five days since my visit and I feel like I have a new kitten! He does have to go back for a weekly shot and bath to treat his mange but I can see him healing and improving each day. Their wellness plan for pets is perfect because it helps space out the cost of the shots and neutering.

First thing youll say to yourself when you walk in here is, "Why are all the employees writing Google Reviews of their own business!" Then youll come here to this page and see all these glowing 5 star reviews. Hmm. Interesting marketing plan this vet hospital has enacted. All I really would like to let people know is that Dr. Saleh does not "care" for pets; rather, he "exploits" them. This is one sick individual. Not only does he reek of horrific BO but he had his hands all over me during my visit. My husband had a good mind to go down there until I calmed him down. The girl up front assured me Dr. Saleh is married (then she winked and said hes on a dating website with a Washington DC-based profile). Anyways, I paid about 4x what I my estimate showed and that was even after getting services deleted from the bill which were never delivered. Crazy operation!
