I had my appointment on Wednesday, 10 July 2013. I normally see either Dr. Harris or Dr. Jackson. On this visit I was seen by Doctor Fredrick Jackson and it was a truly amazing experience. Everyone was extremely courteous and friendly. I was really impressed with Dr. Jackson on this occasion. He took his time explaining everything he was doing and why he was doing it. His explanations and genuine concern went a long way in putting my fears to rest. He not only took an interest in my eye health, but he was also very forthcoming with sharing some possible solutions to other areas of my overall health that could potentially affect my eye health. He offered some possible solutions to help with bouts of vertigo I have been experiencing for a couple of years now. He suggested some things that I could try to help to minimize the severity of the migraine headaches that I have been suffering for more than thirty years. No one else had ever made the suggestions to me that he did. I cant wait to put them into practice to see if they will help even the tiniest little bit. Thanks, Dr. Jackson, for one of the most enjoyable appointments I have ever had. And trust me, I will make sure that you are highly recommended to everyone that I know who needs a good optometrist. Keep up the good work. Had my yearly exam on February 4, 2015 and must say that it was a very interesting experience. Even though the wait time was a few minutes past my appointment time, I clearly understand why. The doctors spend as much time as needed with each patient and I realize that I will get the same type of treatment when it is my turn. Also, Dr. Harris staff are extremely kind, considerate, and compassionate. I just love Dr. Harris to death (no offense Dr. Jackson, I love you, too). Even though he informed me that I have cataracts, he took the time to explain all of my options and shared his experiences with his fathers surgery. I left the office feeling very good and felt that Dr. Harris had provided me with all the information that I needed to make a decision. Once I made the decision, he even scheduled an appointment for me--talk about the personal touch approach. I would highly recommend Primary Eyecare Associates to anyone. As a matter of fact, my entire family uses Primary Eyecare Associates. So, if you are looking for a good eye care center and optometrist, give them a call, THEY ARE THE BEST I have ever used. KEEP DOING WHAT YOU ARE DOING.

I have been a patient for over 20 years with Primary Eye Care. Dr. Jackson and Dr. Harris as well as all the doctors are very educated in their field. For years I suffered with Dry Eye and with the help of Dr. Jackson and the patient care I am given this issue has been greatly resolved. I also had Lasik Surgery around 10 years ago with excellent results. And today I am still seeing 20/20, I have had no regression in my vision. Dr. Jackson is a very caring doctor, he not only cares about your vision he cares about your overall health. Your health and medications are very important part of his exam. Dr. Harris is very caring as well concerning you overall health. He has a free spirit and your vision and how well you see is extremely important. I would not go anywhere else for mine or my familys eye care. When I leave I know they as well as myself have been give the utmost care as possible. And an exam that surpasses all others. I thank them greatly for their compassion and care I am given. I also work for these doctors and I personally know and see first hand the care that our patients are given. Your optical needs are as important as your eye exam. If its not right they will do everything possible to make things right and see you are satisfied. Your Vision is their main Focus.

Absolutely terrible. They did not tell my father his blurry eyesight was caused by bleeding in his eye. After eight months I found a specialist in Birmingham that told us the cause of the blurry vision and that if it had been properly diagnosed when it started it could have been prevented. Dr. Jackson doesnt care about patients just billing your insurance. The girls at the front were making fun of callers in clear hearing range of the customrs in the lobby. We waited an hour for a scheduled appointment.

This was the worst service ever. Not only did I have to follow up with the optical department numerous times on the status of my glasses for an entire month but their customer service was so awful to the point where I had to finally get in touch with my insurance company to get things fixed myself & I am still waiting on the glasses because they are very slow. I will never return to this office. The only positive thing about the service was the contact representative.

After being dissatisfied with the in/out fast food treatment at Montgomery Eye Physicians, Dr. Rick Jackson at the Vaughn Road location of PEA came highly recommended to me by a professional in the field. The staff was very friendly and extremely thorough in listening to my family history of eye issues. The testing they did covered more aspects than other eye doctors I have seen in the past. I do recommend Dr. Jackson at this location.

Dr. Harris is the BEST!!! He has been my daughters eye physician since she was in the 1st grade and now she is in the 7th grade and we have always had a great experience with him. He is very good at educating us on the changing with her eyes. The staff is always attentive. We love Primary Eyecare Associates and hope to have a long relationship with them. Thanks guys!!!

Dr. Harris, Amanda and Patricia are The Best. They were extremely busy on my last visit, but they still took time to answer all of my questions and never made me feel rushed. I saw one ophthalmologist for 25 years before he died a few years ago, and its taken me 2 years to find another doctor with whom I have the same comfort level and confidence!

I had my lasik eye surgery done by Dr. Harris and he is amazing this was absolutely the best decision I have ever made and his tech Ms. Kelli is great as well they made me feel very comfortable and at ease through the entire process they have a great staff and I definitely would recommend them to anyone considering lasik you wont have any regrets

Friendly staff. Dr. Harris is outstanding. I have dry eye syndrome and have tried for years to wear contact lenses. Unfortunately, the Prattville office wasnt able to help me for this, but the Montgomery office fit me with the right lenses the first time. Thank you again. Dr. Harris and his staff are so friendly and professional...great time at the eye Doctor. Doc fitted me for one contact lens for near reading and my other eye is fine for distance. I am on my second day with no reading glasses...pretty cool. Amanda and Patricia took super care of me. Thanks to all.
