I am not sure where to begin in my praise of the incredible people at Amesbury Dental Associates. I moved back home to Mass. After losing my job in Washington, DC. It had been a year+ since my last visit to the dentist and I was not looking forward to my appointment. I was referred to their office by all 4 members of my immediate family who are long time patients. My first visit was a simple cleaning, but was just the beginning. I was sent for a consultation to another dentist and he compared the state of my teeth to something from “This Old House” when he stated you won’t know what is going on after you rip down the drywall! That was the beginning the longest and best relationship I have ever had personally and professionally. Here is why: You are greeted as you enter by Christine, the Office Manager with a friendly hello and instruction to have a seat. I am one of those people who, well, I can be a lot to deal with on first meeting. I have a lot of energy, love to laugh and be crazy in the best possible way. Christine knows her job and was not going to put up with my nonsense. After a very short wait, I might be greeted by Joanne (the hygienist who cleans my teeth and I blame for all this…lol) or Pam or Lindsey or Laurie or Lauren or Lisa. It didn’t matter, because each of these women are the nicest most pleasant and genuine dental office associates I have ever met. They set the tone for the office and that was huge. As outstanding as these women are, the names on the sign outside are the reason I was there, along with everyone else. Dr. Henry Cheney, opened the office and when he is not away saving people as part of a ski rescue team, he is in the office charming everyone he meets. I was there to see his associate Dr. Brad Fulkerson (a.k.a. Dr. Dude). I call him that because he looks like he just came off the beach. Dr. Dude is exactly that, a Dude. He is big into being outside (no matter the time of year) and when not working he is usually doing something to the extreme, like jumping out of helicopters and skiing down a mountain. Or he might be in some third world country providing dental care to those who have don’t have regular access. Despite all his “dude”ness, Dr. Fulkerson is a huge dental nerd. He LOVES what he does and is constantly learning, taking classes and attending conferences to keep current. It is like dental porn for him. This is the kind of dentist everyone should have. Needless to say, by the time I was done and the new drywall had been put up, I was familiar enough with everyone in the office, I could be my crazy outgoing self. Thank you everyone and I apologize for the lengthy review, but they are used to me talking alot. P.S. Christine may come off as being serious Office Manger, but dont buy it. She is just as crazy as the rest of us and thank goodness for that.

I have been going to Amesbury Dental Associates for the past three years now, and could not imagine going anywhere else! Dr. Brad and his whole office provide a comfortable, friendly environment that doesnt make you dread the dentist! Which is very unusual from any other dentist office I have been to. I had an invasive dental implant procedure done, and later that night received a phone call from Dr Brad calling to check in on me. What dentist calls you on their free time to make sure you arent in too much pain?! If you are looking for a new dentist I would HIGHLY recommend this office! You will receive the most thorough, expertise care!!!

I came to this practice with a lot of anxiety after a bad dental experience and I can not say enough great things about my experience at Amesbury Dental Associates. Dr. Fulkersons compassion, patience and skill level are remarkable. I have had many procedures done over the past three years and have had absolutely no issues and minimal to no post-procedure discomfort. I am starting to feel comfortable and confident about going to the dentist again, which I am so thankful for. If you are looking for a new dentist in the area, I highly recommend Dr. Fulkerson and this practice. They are fantastic.

One word to describe Dr. Brad--perfection! I had the crowns on my two front teeth replaced and they look beautiful. You would never know they are fake. Dr. Brad and the team at Amesbury Dental Associates are knowledgeable, professional, patient, and kind. He was very communicative and explained each step of the process, ensured I was comfortable during every visit, and made me laugh every time. If there were ten stars available, I would score the practice a ten. If you are in need of cosmetic dentistry, go see Dr. Bradford L. Fulkerson, DMD. You wont be disappointed.

I recently had an extensive amount of dental work done by Dr. Fulkerson (10 crowns)....I was extremely impressed with the thoroughness of his approach, his compassion and his professionalism. He utilized advanced technology and went above and beyond in making sure that I was pleased with the results. I have received many compliments on my new "smile". I highly recommend Dr. Fulkerson without reservation. His assistant, Lisa, also was very skilled and experienced.

I have been going to this dental office my whole life and have never wanted to go anywhere else. The doctors and staff always have a good attitude and you get the best dental care. They explain everything about your teeth and every procedure very well and never make you feel bad for not having 100% perfect teeth. As soon as my daughter is old enough for the dentist this is where I plan to bring her.

I have been a patient at Amesbury Dental Associates for over 5 years and the staff is always courteous, appointments are on time and my dental hygienist, Pam, is always "all smiles" and cheerful. They are very helpful taking the time to discuss ingredients of the products they use during the visit and for home care which is important to me as a vegan and a person with allergies and sensitivities.

I highly recommend this dental office. We have been so pleased as a family with the service we receive. The hygienists and our dentist, Dr. Fulkerson, are wonderful with our children (6 and 8) as well and have been since they were younger. I have had comfortable procedures and they have made a time for me when I have had an issue. I am very happy to have found such a great family dentist.

Our family has been going to this office for years...the environment is very nice and the staff is friendly, pleasant and always makes you feel comfortable! Also, they perform some specialized dental treatments (such as implants and root canals), so it makes it so much easier not having to go to another office for those things!

Dr. Cheney has been my dentist for a number of years now. He is always kind, compassionate and caring, and hes really funny, too! I have seen Dr. Fulkerson as well, and he is excellent! Both of them are highly trained and skilled. Additionally, the office staff is always friendly and helpful.

Getting old has its drawbacks. After a four hour trip from remote Maine, I was informed that my appt. was the next day. They worked it out and took me in anyway. I am grateful and always receive exemplary service. Worth the trip!
