Bought an expensive Brooks Brothers glasses in May 2016 from Lens Crafters. Ive traded with them for years. Went by their store in Trussville, AL today (Feb. 2017) because of loose frames, and they said to be repaired I had to have new glasses (lens & fames). I cannot fork out another $700 when my lenses are perfectly fine. I just need the frame fixed. This doesnt make any sense. I dont think they know what they are doing. I would not be trading with them again after purchasing a multiple number of glasses over a 25 year period.

After just a few months, my lenses were scratched. I bought my glasses with federal insurance that included a warranty. Lenscrafters told me since i didnt purchase an additional warranty the only thing i could do was buy new lenses at full cost. Glasses bought at different vendors lasted much longer than the four months at Lenscrafters. I will not use Lenscrafters again. Every step of the process was a struggle.

TRUSSVILLE LOCATION - VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE Lenscrafters has a great warranty - however, be prepared to have to use it with repeat trips at this location. Also be prepared to be treated like you are a PROBLEM. When the real problem is that the staff at this location is not skilled. Other locations in Birmingham area are courteous and willing to correct mistakes made by the staff at Trussville.
