Update: As promised, I am updating my review. I was contacted by the Office Manager and she was very much on top of the issues explained below. She reviewed my fee schedule with me, which I was aware of but I know not everyone has that knowledge, and she made me feel more at ease about visiting this office again for my sons next check up. They are reimbursing the money owed back to me. It was a pleasure to speak with someone as knowledgeable and helpful as she was. Also, thank you to Priscilla who went above and beyond to help me. As a team, these two definitely turned a negative into a positive. Original Review: I absolutely loved the Dentist and Assistant but hey really need to work on the staff up front. The only helpful employee thus far has been Priscilla. Amanda was quick to get me off the phone so that she wouldnt have to help me with the status of my claim even though Priscilla said that anyone up front would be able to help me out with that info. We wouldnt have this problem if they had been proactive and called to verify insurance ahead of time when the provider was actually open versus on a Saturday when most providers are closed. I had all my paperwork filled out on my end so that there would be no hassle or time wasted. I did that to be the least problematic but that didnt work. Also, Im not sure why the girls keep thinking assuming I am on Medicaid or CHIP. That is the first thing they wanted to assume so that they wouldnt be able to help. If something changes and this ends up being a wonderful experience I will change my review and rating. As of now, you get two stars. Those go to the Dentist and Assistant.

I love this place!! Dr.Razai is awesome.She is so sweet and does so good with my baby girl. My daughter loves her dentist. <3 Some of the girls do look like they have attitude BUT the nice, fun assistants make up for that . thanks girlys :) Before I brought my daughter here she would make me sit by her side now she does so good and loves going in. Some other offices were rude didnt let me in the room . But here they let me go in even if i have my niece and nephews they let us all go to the back. Ive had nothing but good experiences since I have been coming to this office. Only thing is I wish they would use Fluoride varnish instead of foam ..but I am pretty sure if I asked they would. :) I recommend Dr. Razai.

kool smiles @ 5601 Bandera Road, leon valley, TX. Best Dental Place in San Antonio, TX. I love this place, at 53yrs. I have been to many dental offices, and seen many dentist. All in all this is the best dental place in San Antonio, TX. Starting with the very nice young ladys that greet you as you walk in. To the oh so sweet and helpful office manager Mr. Miller, who always has a kool-smile for everyone. To the upmost professional Dr. Laditah. Have had multiple problems when coming into appts. Horrible at communicating with patients in regards to what they need to return for or with other issues they have that day. Seem like they cant get it together. And Ive showed up to my appt and was brought back n then two hrs later they told me we cant do ur work today because our system is down -_- waste of my time. They could have called to inform me cause they told me there other locating had all there information on file so I know they simply could have informed me in advance. This place is ridiculous!

I was told that myself and my two kids had appointments on the same day, back to back, but I missed my appointment that was scheduled for 10 something, my sons appointment was at 12 something and my daughter didnt have an appointment at all that day. They told me that she was not to be scheduled until September. One of the ladies was very nice to us, not the front desk persons but another lady. She was very apologetic and made certain that my daughter was treated extra special because she was upset that she didnt have an appointment that day.

Worst place Ive ever been to. Unprofessional. Theyre LIARS. Maybe they didnt feel like fixing my cavities but they claimed my insurance wouldnt cover it on the same day. Meanwhile all they did was take ONE Xray of ONE tooth and then tried to refer me out. The Dental Assistant was running around like a deer in the headlights, on a Tuesday, with no one in the waiting room and one other patient in the back. I called the insurance and filed a complaint. Insurance confirmed they lied. DONT GO TO THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU WANT TO WASTE YOUR TIME.

We went to a scheduled appoitment and they couldnt see us because their hyginest got injured. Instead of calling us to cancle they make us come in and when the receptionist tried to schedule appoitments she informed me that we wouldnt be seen for about 4 months. What kind of dentist office doesnt tend to the customer. This place customer service is horrible. Im going to go somewhere else that is pleased to take my money. Please stay away because it will only be a waste of your time.

My son loves them so much. Had very bad experience at another place and he just loves being here at kool-smiles he loves the girls there in fact he even gave them all single rose.. they make him feel very calm more so than what he usually is when at a doctors appointment.. I will not take him anywhere else. I recommend all my friends that ask for a dental office for their children to go here very kid-oriented. Best dentist office for children. Thank you dr. this is the greatest dentist experience I have had in my life. Dr. Navin Taiym is the greatest dentist in the USA no question about. Also the staff is fabulous and everyone is very serendipitous and serendipity happens there everyone should have a fabulous and great experience like I have. Your humble servant, serving God and You. The KS staff, office manager Myra, Dr Karan and Aniceto are always Awesome, attentive and very friendly!! My appointment was smooth and timely. The only area of opportunity is with the receptionist and appointment reminder person - Desiree. As your first point of contact, if you want to project a welcoming and friendly image, she needs to be replaced. She is not friendly at all and lacks basic customer service skills. Overall, a great visit. Thanks..

I can honestly say when I first came into this office I wasnt to excited. I must say I have had the best experience ever at this location I have three children and all three were treated like my kids were there kids. I would recommend this location. I would love to give kudos to the staff and to the following Pamela , Denise , and Dr. Razai .. I appreciate all your work and tenderness you all provided to my children..
