Avoid Dr. Bryant. I definitely felt like more of a number than a patient. The office had just opened and it was already packed. The dentist barely looked at me during my consultation, spending most of his time writing on various pieces of paper. He seemed reluctant to answer my questions and didnt readily volunteer information about my teeth. I only found out I had a possible infection when he told me he was giving me a prescription for antibiotics. It was kind of a surreal experience. He was so cold that I tried asking the hygienist questions about my prescriptions instead, but she didnt know and had to ask the dentist. She seemed uncomfortable asking him questions also. He did not seem happy to answer them and only did so briefly. I left the office still confused about my prescriptions and my condition. I wont be filling prescriptions given to me by a doctor like that. Ill be looking for another dentist willing to talk to me. I had a good experience with Monarch Dental years before, but Dr. Bryant made me feel like I wasnt worth his time and energy.

If I could give half a star I would have. Arrived for a scheduled appointment 10-15mins early to allow time for paper work and during my wait time a lady came in who did not have an appointment upset about a root canal, the front desk informed her they were completely booked and she would need to schedule her an appointment. The lady raised her voice stating when she called over the phone they would see her if she arrived before 12:15 and she did. Long story short I am sitting there 15 mins past my appointment time (30mins total) and the dental assistant comes out and calls the lady with out an appointment while I sat and waited. I refuse to be disrespected when I am paying for service. My time is just as valuable as the business, if they cant respect my time why would I respect their time. They need 24hr notice for cancellations or they hit you with fees, well what about our time you pass our appointment time when we have scheduled appointments. Very poor service. Dont stand for this type of treatment.

As a fairly new resident to San Antonio, Monarch Dental was a dental office we chose about a year ago because of its proximity to our house. Since then, my husband and myself have had horrible experiences with the office staff. They are exteremely rude and makes me regret choosing Monarch Dental in the first place. The office staff has admitted to "accidently" overbooking one afternoon that I had an appointment and blamed it on a "new girl" at the front desk. The conversations were extremely impersonal and I really felt like I was just a number, instead of a patient. This dental office focuses on quantity instead of quality and it shows. This is unfortunate because the doctors there are amazing but their office staff is definitely lacking in professionalism. I work in the customer service industry (I work for an insurance company) and I am leaving Monarch Dental because of the horrible customer service.

Scheduled an appointment for what I thought was a cleaning, turned out to be just a first time patient exam. I arrived 15 minutes early and then another 30 minutes after my appointment time to be called back. They took my X-rays and then sat me in a chair where I waited for another 20 minutes to see the doctor. The doctor came in looked at my teeth and then I was escorted back to the waiting room to wait and be called up by the receptionist (another 5 minutes) to schedule my actual cleaning. In all I was at this office for an hour and a half for nothing. I have never waited so long for a dentist appointment before, this place is a dental factory where they really dont care, and just want to do whatever they can to every extra cent they can, including over scheduling and odd practices such as separate new patient exams and cleanings. Do not go to this place and promote their horrible business practices.

The front staff has been very rude my 8yr old god daughter after a filling has been in pain and all they kept doing was say rinse with salt water. After two weeks my sister had to ask plz give her something for infection since her side of face was swollen. Now had another dentist look at it and yes the filing is touching the nerve. Why cant people just have empathy as if its their own kids. Now they will be extracting 2 teeth since nite the infection has spread. Wth

The hygienist told me that I made her job harder because she had to manually clean my teeth because the loud noise from the electric cleaner was to much for my ears, she was annoyed and said you need to get your cleaning every 6 months because youake my job harder. Imagine! Wheny children went to get their x rays and my little 5yrs son was nervous the tech showed no compassion, the staff in the back greatly lack costomer service skills and compassion

The lady who does billing for ortho is the rudest person ive ever had the pleasure of dealing with. The fact that she is employed there is beyond any reason for common sense to fall in. The manager lets her be rude to customers and insurance representatives and hangs up on people. A company like this, at this level, should not warrant any money from anyone. Take your business else where.

Good luck trying to get seen for braces if your schedule doesnt coincide with theirs. I have been trying to get my daughter seen since March, and our schedules conflict. I cannot get any days off. They cannot see us, and do not have any openings but will gladly still debit payments from my account every month for services that are not being not rendered.

Every time I go here I receive excellent service. The staff is very friendly from the time I walk in to the time I leave. Ive been to a few dental facilities but was never satisfied with the service I received. A friend referred me to Monarch Dental and its safe to say that I will continue to go to them for all my dental needs.

Worst experience ever!!!! Save yourself the time, money, and grief and find another dentist office. It should not take literally from open until close to do a minor procedure. The staff is rude and unorganized. I will not be returning or trying any other Monarch Dental. I cannot overstate how terrible this experience was.

My daughter comes to this office for ortho. The front staff are amazing! They are so respectful, and always friendly! They will answer every question that you have without hesitation. I would also like to say the Doctors are wonderful! I will recommend this office to everyone that I know who needs to see a dentist!

I would like to recommend Monarch Dental at the Potranco location to anyone needing help with maintaining their smile. All personnel are professional and courteous from the moment you walk in the door, to the time you leave. I am very satisfied with my experience here. Would not change locations for anything! :)
