NO STARS!!! Appt at 2:15pm.. doctor goes in to see my daughter and cant figure out whats wrong with her so he steps out to get the other doctor that had previously seen her. Its going on 3:35pm and the doctor has STILL not been in to see her!!!! I need answers! Treat people the way you want to be treated! Im a worried parent and I dont know whats going on with my daughter. Please dont keep me waiting forever to get answers and dont make me feel like something is seriously wrong with my daughter when you have to get a 2nd opinion! The minute i find another clinic WE ARE OUT!!! ***Update*** the office manager saw my review and called me yesterday to explain what happened. A mistake by one of their M.As made this visit longer than it should have been. She also sent a message to the doctor to have him call me to go into further detail about the plan of action for my child. She was very apologetic and I appreciated her even giving me a call to discuss this. The doctor was also apologetic even if it wasnt his fault the wait was long to see him. He stayed on the phone with me and answered all my questions and even apologized for making me feel like the 1st doctor that saw my child didnt know what he was doing. He simply stated that doctor felt my daughter should see him since she should be assigned to 1 doctor who will be more familiar with her history. This made me feel a lot more comfortable and im just happy that i now better understand where we are going with my daughters treatment plan. For this I will update the rating on this review and hope our next visit will be a better experience than the last.

Did not care for pediatric associates at all. They are supposedly highly recommended but I would not recommend taking your child here. Its convenient as far as the hours and days they are open, but the quality of the care is lacking. Some of the people at the front desk are friendly but others are very rude. The people working at the check out desk are rude. There are some ok doctors here but the overall practice is disorganized. None of the doctors stood out enough for me to continue bringing my kids here. The wait time for a simple check up is ridiculous. After checking in they call your child to the back pretty fast but you end up seeing 3-4 people before the doctor actyally comes, and its a very long wait especially for smaller children. Being in a doctors office for 3 hours plus for a well check up is ridiculous to me. They do have a lab and xrays there but the one girl we encountered was rude and seemed irritated by my son crying for a finger prick blood test (hes only two!) There are alot of people working here but dont let that fool you becaue they are super slow. We went here for a brief time period when we had changes to our insurance but promptly switched back to our former pediatrician once it was resolved. Oh, and they recently robbed a jewelry store right in this shopping center so I dont really feel safe bringing my kids here either. After waiting a long time to see the doctors they rush you in and out through the exam, I assume because they see so many patients. They tell you there gonna give you info on this or an rx for that then forget!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. The parking there is okay theres numerous of parking spaces. The check out time isnt so bad and the wait time isnt that long. The staff are very friendly. My problem with this place is the Doctor that I encountered with. Jesus Laurente M.D I would not recommend him. I took my daughter there because her face was swollen and i didnt know why. I didnt know if it was an insect bite. What type of insect it was. I had no knowledge of what was wrong with my daughters face as it seem to only get worse im usually not the one to run to a doctor office but i was really worried because i never seen anything like that so i just wanted to be sure it wasnt snything serious. As a doctor he didnt assure me of any peace concerning this issue. As a matter of fact he didnt even adress the reason i came. All he did was check my daughters breathing with the stethoscope and and check her ears which i found kinda odd because it was as if he was doing a routine check up. He didnt examine the bites or even looked at them at all which i found totally odd because that was my main reason for going there. His attitude totally stink. He had a very uncaring, unapologetic, uncompassionate spirit. I will never go back to that office again because of the way i was treated by Jesus Laurente MD Ive shouldve been treated with respect and all my worries shouldve been adress which they werent.

I am so disappointed with the quality of service that Ive gotten this year regarding my 1 year old Pediatrics Associates was highly recommended to me by a few friends. So I took their word and made them my kids pediatrician. I have not been getting the proper quality help that I need because I am being a mother my son been having a cold that never went away for the past 3 months Ive been taking him to the doctor for the past 3 months all they could tell me is suction out his nose and give him Tylenol. But the cold never went away the fever still cry and they refused to give me any antibiotics or anything. I did everything they told me to do and my son is still sick still having fevers the doctor never stay in the room long enough to even check my son were always there for like 15 minutes and then it goes to the next patient like what the hell I have my insurance paying for youre not doing this for free but Im now going to change pediatrician because I feel like Im wasting my time and energy. No some are doctors are nice some of the staff are nice but then there are times that you have people who have attitudes they act like they dont even want to be there even doctors act like they dont want to touch your child so Im like so done cuz I feel like its unfair

Skylake is the worst pediatric associate Ive ever been to in my entire life. From the receptionist to the assistant, everyone have an attitude like they do not want to be there. News flash, you picked the wrong career if you dnt like kids. First I had to wait a hour and 20 minutes before I was called in to a room. Second, my son record was missing from their database. Its always good to verify what shots they are going to give your child. I had to wait an hour for them to locate his recond. Note, he has been there 3times already. Thrid, I asked for my son shot history and that took another hour to receive it. The wait is horrible. The staffis the worst I ever dealt with. No training on customer service. Doctor Benavides is great, beautiful personality but I will never return due to the staff. I rather drive to Aventura location, pay for parking and receive great service. One more thing, the ladies are always talking about some drama they have with each other. It reminds me of high school. Please , im writing a review so the next parent do not waste their time going there.
