Gutierrez, A pompous, incompetent man doesnt deserve the tittle of Doctor. I had a dangerous parasitic infection which has left me scarred for life. He diagnosed me with delusions of parasitosis and told me to see a psychiatrist. After this intial visit, a member of his staff noticed my white blood cell count, specifically, my Eosinophilic count was nearly triple the norm which is indicative of a parasitic infection. I reluctantly saw him again expecting an apology and a prescription, but instead was greeted with a and I quote "WHAT ARE YOU DOING BACK HERE" I told him why...."I want to get better and dont wish to die from whatever this is". With reluctance, he hurriedly went over my lab results, missed the obvious, and in a combative manner, told me to leave. I was not charged for the visit. My infection only got worse as my family practitioner also lacked the skill set to help. Months later, I eventually got the help I needed when I saw Dr Steven Barrett MD. (who works at Americas Urgent Care.) I was prescribed the antibiotic/ antiparasitic medication Flagyl and the infection finally cleared. Unfortunately, due to Gutierrezs negligence, I am scarred for life. Your better off runnning to the hills than consulting with this physician regarding any medical issue. Be careful. This guy INSISTED that I needed 8 MOLES removed. (Remember, someone makes money for every mole removed.) I knew this was WAY too many moles to remove since I have a yearly checkup and only occasionally do I need something removed. He actually made me feel horrible when I said I was going to get a second opinion. "I am warning you that you could have skin cancer." He actually asked me to sign a document that I had refused his surgery. After two second opinions, I had one mole removed. I told another Orlando doctor about my experience. Before I even mentioned a name, she said, "Let me guess: Dr. Gutierrez." Unbelievable.

Do not go to there! Went to his office twice. In both occasions he showed not interest or caring for my conditions. He was in a hurry and spent less than 5-8 minutes on me on both visits. He didnt inspect my scalp or body. He didnt ask questions of any other conditions or provided adequate or informative answers to my questions. He told me I was just getting old! Very rude! I found out I am not the only one with this negative experience. I got better professional services from a dermatologist physician assistant, Amy Davis form Associates in Dermatology. (A++). I recommend her if you are dissatisfied with Dr Gutierrez.

Michael Gutierrez, MD is an exceptional doctor with a great bedside manner! My father was very apprehensive about going to the dermatologist. His past experiences were painful and negative. Dr. Gutierrez was recommended by several people, so I made an appointment for my dad. They got me an appointment within a couple days. The process was easy, and we didnt wait 10 minutes to see the doctor! (some offices Ive been to take you right back only to wait 45 minutes to be seen- not here..we actually saw the doctor within 10 minutes!!! Dr. Gutierrez is very efficient and my father was pleased. I highly recommend Dr. Gutierrez

When I review what I try to start for the best. The attention of the staff at the front was excellent, very friendly and respectful, the waiting time is minimal , but the doctors attention was not the most professional, were moments I did not think it was more than 3 minutes, it was so fast that even I wonder if I had any questions or had changes that worry me . The truth should be aware that this working with humans and devote more time and take time for each query. If you ask me I would not see this doctor again.

I saw Dr. Gutierrez for a case of jock itch that wasn’t going away. As others have noted, his bedside manner certainly leaves much to be desired. He was borderline rude during the consult, told his nurse to prescribe something for me without explaining his diagnosis to me, and then proceeded to walk out without asking if I had any questions. The entire consult was maybe 2 minutes. I will not be going back to see him.

I recently experience a visit with another dermatology practice. It was horrible. I found your company on a wimp. My other doctor misdiagnosed my skin cancer and actually didnt even find it, when I knew something was wrong. I was so lucky to have Dr Gutierrez examine me that day. Im having this area removed this week and you couldnt have been any more of a blessing.

It was horrible, he spends one second in the room and doesnt explain nothing. The nurse explained more and even told me she doesnt know why he doesnt. You waste money to just walk through the door and walk right out. Theres no point in asking questions because he clearly states he doesnt know. Im going to get a second opinion somewhere else.

Ive seen Dr Gutierrez over a span of 20 years. Im sad to say that with experience he has turned moody. Its possible to catch him in a pleasant mood but overall he shows no interest or care for conditions. He works in a hurry. Better off seeing a different doctor.

I was having doubts about the amount of biopsies that they were doing on me (30 in the past year). It paid off as on the most recent round they found 2 melanomas on my back. I have not had a problem with his bedside manner and he always answered my questions.

I had the worst experience with this doctor. I was a new patient , when he saw me he said what do you have?.. I am in a hurry..really? he did not even check me up and subscribed me a cream...the consult was less than 5 minutes .

Dr G got me in last minute to take care of me. He was nice, punctual and got me in and out. I appreciate all the staff being ver nice and helpful and would recommend to anyone seeking a dermatologist.
