Been going to Value Vet Care for a few years and Dr. Phil was always great. However, today (7/23) we got charged $25 for an office vet on the 3rd visit of the Puppy Plan (this $25 was paid on the 1st visit to cover all 3 puppy visits). Vet claimed we needed to come back for a 4th visit for additional shots! The tech that worked with us was very presumptuous and pompous. She claimed, "It has been X weeks since your last visit, you might as well flush that vaccination down the drain!" This arrogant assumption was incorrect. After a call to Chaska to review, it appears that the Richfield location did not pull our records up from BOTH locations. The 4th visit claim is NOT a part of the Value Vet Care puppy protocol and definitely not what weve experienced in the past. Weve always had courteous and helpful staff (from front desk to vet techs to veterinarians) from Value Vet Care in the past. I dont know what kind of operation the Richfield location is running....but its certainly not the Value Vet Care we are familiar with. Very disappointed in how the company is now being represented.

Please if you love your pet dont ever take them here. They told me my dogs dental surgery to pull a tooth would be at 9am. Dropped him off at 8:30. They muzzled him and left him muzzled in a pen until surgery at noon. He has severe anxiety. The doctor called my husband to sayhis teeth had been cleaned and she saw 2 teeth that needed to be removed at 240 dollars. Then we receive a call from the call center saying the have removed 10 or 12 teeth. THEY REMOVED 10 OR 12 OF OUR GOLDEN RETRIEVERS TEETH WITHOUT OUR CONSENT! DOES ANYONE KNOW A GOOD LAWYER? Im still sitting in the waiting room to have the doctor explain to me how this happened. Totally negligent care!! They should be shut down.

I was so impressed by the appearance and cleanliness of the clinic. The receptionist was extremely nice as well. Our tech was helpful and thorough. The vet, Dr. Phil, was quick and extremely easy to talk to and understand. Unfortunately, we need to take our dog back for follow up care (which I assumed would be the case because of his issue)...but Im definitely glad we found ValueCare Vet. The cost was also very reasonable. Thank you!

Hard to find the door to go inside, but love the people that work here. My little guy saw Dr. Phil for his shots and I had some questions. My little guy did great and I got great answers. I asked the Dr about something weird that my little guy was doing and the Dr remembered and asked how he was doing and if he has done any since. I am so glad I dont have to drive so far now. This is the best place ever for my little guy.

Have brought my 3 kittens and puppy here everyone is very nice and helpful, super clean environment, knowledgeable staff, will continue to come to this location, only reason I gave 4 stars is that sometimes they can be hard to reach to set up appointment.
