I was having face seizures due to a meningioma for 8 months but I was being treated for ";panic attacks" I went to the er 2xs, once told I was having an allergic reaction (unknown to what) and put on benadryl and prednisone. The second time I was told I had high blood pressure and to go see my dr. I went to a neurologist named Benny Wang. Stay away from him at all cost. He did a mri, told me that the meningioma had not grown and was not my problem although in fact it had doubled in size. His explanation was "thats just weird" I went to an endocrinologist, ent, md all with no answers. Benny Wang put me on Xanax but only for a month. My dr put me on 3 different anti depressants for anxiety and panic attacks. I told her over and over they were not working and I didnt believe that was what was wrong. I was having up to 6 seizures a day but still being told it was panic. Finally on July 13th I had a terrifying seizure that pulled my face to the side and my sister called 911. Thank God Dr Zubay was on call that day. Had it not been for him I would still be treated and given medicine I didnt need. Dr Zubay and his pa Sam are the greatest. I will forever be grateful for them and their knowledge and the ability to "fix me" It is such a relief after 8 months to no longer seize and to know that I now have a solution. I am angry at all the drs that insisted that I was having panic or anxiety. I find it hard to believe a neurologist such as Benny Wang didnt recognize the tumor had doubled in size and was still growing and that he didnt recognize face seizures. I cant say enough good things about Dr Zubay and Sam. They are THE BEST My surgery, craniotomy, was a success with not much pain at all. The tumor is gone and I am healing, almost back to my normal life. Oh and another thing, Dr Zubay was very considerate about shaving my hair. He took as little as he could and left hair that could cover the staples and scar. That was important to me. Vain but important.

He basically told us we should just let my father pass away and not to pursue any treatments for his brain tumor. He was rude and arrogant. My dad was also diagnosed with Hydrocephalus shortly after he did the biopsy, which he did nothing to treat or give him relief from, all the way from my current home in Hawaii I researched and researched. I finally found my dad a great team of neurosugeons and oncologists at Methodist Hospital who are treating my dad for his conditions, they are dedicated and respectful. I also have a complaint about Hermann Hospital in the Woodlands as Zubay released my father after 2 days and he shouldnt have been released so soon. When we took him back to Hermann 5 days after the biopsy he was not eating and was extremely weak yet they just sent him home!!! I am thankful for finding great care and prompt service at Methodist Hospital at TMC. I might be wrong but I think my dads age and race was a factor in Zubays treatment of him. Find another neurosurgeon, most importantly research as much as you can....

Im 80 years old and Ive been in pain for YEARS! Every other Doctor thought it was too dangerous to try to fix my problem. I was on anti-inflamatories for a number of years. Ive had spinal blocks for pain which helped for a little while. Ive had physical therapy. Ive been on Norco for pain for two years. I finally became bedridden. I went to Dr Zubay; he was confident that he could help me when no other doctor was. Immediately after surgery I felt no pain! I am now in rehab, and am on track for getting my life back. His Physician Assistant, Sam, is also wonderful. They really listen and pay attention, and take seriously my concerns and questions. I highly recommend!!!

Dr. Zubay is an angel doing Gods work. He saved my 23-year-old back. I feel so privleged to have met him and thanked him profusely for how much hes unknowingly impacted my life. He has heart, soul, and, most importantly, a zest for life that most now (sadly) lack. I love him like a brother, like an Equal, and I hope to see him again soon and (hopefully) make him laugh again. Because that was truly the highlight of our brief encounter/followup. Ive gained a new personal hero, and hes gained a young woman forever in his debt. A friend. Thank God/Source for souls like his. Doctor Zubay is a great surgeon! He diagnosed by wifes tumor which was larger than a golf ball. Dr. Zubay removed the tumor without damaging any structures in her brain and without any infections or complications. My wife no longer suffers from seizures. Dr. Zubay saved my wifes life. Words cannot adequately express the thankfulness we feel for Dr. Zubay and his skill. Doctor Zubay is the best! I am thankful to God for Dr. Zubays work. A shout out to Memorial Hermann in the Woodlands. Great hospital. 1st class care!

I had surgery on Tuesday and when I stood up that evening I felt absolutely NO back pain. I havent experienced that in years. He was super nice, thorough and fulfilled his promise to make the surgery happen so that I could go back to school since Im a school teacher.
