A positive about them is they really go to all lengths to determine exactly what you are having a problem with and they make sure you get the meds or medical attention that is needed. On the other hand they do seem very money hungry. They file things on your insurance that are incorrect to get the most money. They lied to me about what my insurance covers 3 times, during a procedure they preformed other procedures that I did not ask for and then charged me hundreds of dollars for it after telling me 3 times that it would be a co-pay only for the one procedure I had asked for. After charging me the hundreds of dollars, I went in bc I had pneumonia and they refused to see me unless I paid the amount (amount left over from the procedure I hadnt asked for) in full before hand. If they were more focused on helping others and less focused on making money it would be an excellent Doctors office

I have been to this office for nearly 3 years. Never any major problems. There has been a billing concern due to my insurance. Their billing personell really do care about making sure everything is correct and have gone the extra mile to call me to explain a credit to my account. Dr. Gonzales is amazing, straight forward, and really makes sure you understand the information pertaining to your visit. I have been to other doctors in the past, but I will be staying with FamilyWise and my Wife is making the switch too. The office is all state of the art equipment. I love checking in at the Kiosk as it even takes my co-pay. The waiting area is very comfortable almost day spa feel to it. I give them 5 stars case from 3 years of evaluating them I can honestly say that I have gotten the best care from everyone on their staff and its been consistent.

I was diagnosed with Pneumonia from this office just as they had been taken over by Healthcare Associates of McKinney. I have called multiple times and left messages for the doctor telling her my concern for my health and NO ONE has called me back. It has now been 9 days and I am still VERY sick and still have not had contact with the doctor. What kind of medical care is that??? DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE. I finally called a final time and was able to talk to the receptionist who told me that no one was going to call me back and that I would just need to come back in for another appointment if I wanted to talk to the doctor. Why would I make another appointment with a medical care office that doesnt even call a patient back who has a life threatening illness while under their care? HORRIBLE HEALTHCARE SERVICE!!!! NEVER COME HERE.

Im a critical care RN and paramedic with ER, fight, and ICU experience. Ive been in critical care medicine for almost 26 years and most of those in a teaching facility. I have high standards for health care and have nothing but positive experiences there. I see Lauren Dethlefs and in the post would have never seen a mid level provider but she is sharp, pleasant, and personable but I require more than that from a health care provider. I require expertise and have only had that experience with this group. Ive also had only positive experiences with the office staff so Im unsure where our why the negative reviews have come but want to share mine to counter those negative reviews.

Mickey Mouse could manage this office better. If you need a prescription, forget it. You will either not get it or you will get it wrong. The last time I was there they got my script wrong. Instead of correcting it they treated me like a criminal and then lied to me about it. They actually said "they couldnt change the amount because they didnt know what the medication was made of". What? Really? It wasnt heroin for Christ sake it is the same medication I have been on for more than 23 years! Three days into it and I gave up to find some decent health care. Heed my warning...

The office manager is incompetent. She (Angela) doesnt know how to manage at all. The problem with this office is her. Dana is an M.A. there and she is not good either. Ive heard staff laughing and making jokes about her as well. She is the type that things she knows it all. They have a doctor (Sarver) there that looks just like a munchkin/troll and he is super, super slow. Youll at least be in that office for 2 hours from when you check in. Horrible office to visit unless youre desperate.

Consistently been unable to respond in a timely manner, and has been out of prescription pads multiple times, leaving my son and myself without medication. The closing of the Frisco location was apparently a huge blow to this practice, and so far, it doesnt seem as if the situation has improved since they were taken over by a new management group. Dr. Sarver is very nice, but it doesnt make up for the lack of service from the front office.

Dr. Candelario, his medical assistant, and the gals at the front desk took GREAT care of me. Had a couple of moles removed and tested, and as one was on a place on my back I physically couldnt reach they let me come in every day to change the bandages for me. I know thats not normal service, and a scheduling nightmare in some cases as I never had an appointment, but they were always so nice about it, and always took care of me.

The only positive was when they had their Frisco location. The medical staff at Frisco were great....but that location was closed, and I was NEVER notified. Getting RX filled is consistently an issue, they just dont respond! I would not refer anyone to the practice, they have good medical staff but you have to deal with the behind the scenes staff and that it just not worth it.

Dr. Taylor and his staff at Healthcare Associates of McKinney were extremely polite and patient with me as I inquired about becoming a new patient and the type of insurance they took, how far out my appointments needed to be, etc. One of the best experiences Ive had contacting a doctors office. I will most likely be moving over to their office.

I absolutely love this dr office everyone is so attentive and caring. My dr is dr Sarver hes one awesome dr. He always knows exactly the way I feel and always has great advise so I truly appreciate everything he does thank you again for always being so caring. You can really see the passion this clinic has for their patients :)

Rip off....dont go to these doctors. They bill incorrectly with insurance company and try to make as much as money they can in the visits you go to them, until you realize they are a rip off. they will try do everything in the office even though you dont need those services, and charge them.

Appointments take over an hour if your lucky. Good luck getting refills from them. The pharmacy submits the request and it must go into a black hole because they never respond. they claim to never get it. Funny as Im not the only person this happens too.
