I did not have a good experience with this clinic. I brought my dog in for the first time to get her annual check up and a nail trimming. They took her out of my sight to do the shots and nail clipping. It usually takes a lot of time to clip her nails, around 30 minutes because she is so squirmy but they had her back to me under 10 minutes. The rest of the week she had leg problems and would be limping around. I brought her in once again and they said that she would need surgery that would cost me $1,000.00 without suggesting any alternatives. I got a second opionion and they said to wait on it a while because it may fix itself. She is now running around fine! I do not know what happened when they had my dog out of my sight but it seems to me that they were rough with her when they were clipping her nails and may have hurt her leg. I just do not get a good feeling about it.

Best vets I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with! I am so happy with them and will be staying. I adopted a kitty who ended up suddenly having seizures. Dr. Eaton was the on-call (weekend) vet and when I called up 15 minutes before they closed, he was so kind, took the time to really explain things and help me. He was more than happy to go through what to expect and give me a sense of the next steps and the options available with our care. Dr. Trombley is our main vet and she is absolutely wonderful with cats--kind,so calm and very no nonsense. All the techs I have dealt with are very kind and helpful. You can really tell this staff sincerely loves animals and wants the best for them. Very honest and straight forward about everything. Keep up the great work guys! :)

The first cat I rescued came down with a bad case of URI a few days after I brought him home. Even though his first checkup wasnt for almost another week, the vet squeezed me in within a few hours due to my cats terrible breathing problems. The vet was extremely kind and was able to explain everything to me, the technicians were helpful, and my cat quickly recovered. Two years later I still come to this hospital for routine care, vaccines, and day boarding (as well as my second cats initial health screening). The staff couldnt be more kind, compassionate, and helpful. During boarding the technicians play with the cats, and during checkups the vets are very kind and even manage to work with my skittish Siamese. I will take my animals here for as long as I have pets.

I have used Highland Animal Hospital since 2002 and have been extremely pleased with their care of our cats. Dr. Trombley is an excellent vet who really cares about animals. And shes excellent at communicating about a cats condition and the options. The other vets (whom I dont know as well) are also extremely good - caring, good communicators and lovers of animals. They helped to keep my cat Calvin alive with a decent quality of life longer than I expected and I wouldnt trade that time for anything. They know our animals, remember us when we come in and make every effort to squeeze us in when we have an issue. I couldnt recommend them higher.

Kind and knowledgeable vets with obvious compassion for animals. When we moved here several years ago, both our cat and dog had diagnosed kidney disease. Dr. Kat Clark and the staff have been terrific about helping us manage their chronic care needs and treat new and frightening symptoms as they emerged with calm and composure. Additionally, Dr. Kat was wonderful and supportive when our cat reached his end yesterday, offering options for continued treatment as well as her medical opinion of his condition and prognosis. Absolutely fantastic people and medical expertise - Im proud to say this is our vet.

Not happy with this place! They took my dog to another room to give him his vaccinations. Whats up with that? Makes me suspicious that Im not allowed to be in the room when theyre giving my dog his shots...every other vet Ive been to allows the owner to stay in the room as their dog is being vaccinated. I also would not recommend this place for boarding. I left my dog here over the weekend when I was out of town and when I picked him up, he was covered in his own filth. Not ok...especially for a vet. 0 stars, Highland Animal Hospital.

My parents took my cat Mittens to Highland for over 20 years. She passed away when I was in college and then I decided to get a kitten while in grad school. It was amazing. Dr. Labbe was extremely gentle, very soothing, and kind. Our kitten barely flinched. He immediately discovered the cat had ear mites, and did a thorough cleaning right away. Clear and notable expertise and a passion for the profession. We will do a Take Two on my parents and hope to take the kitty to Highland for the next 20+ years!

The first pet I ever had to pet down was a little mouse named Pip Squeak. She had bronchitis and was very old for a mouse. Dr. Kat was very kind; I could tell she cared for animals and sincerely sympathized with losing a pet... even a small one. She took paw prints from Pip with ink. I few days later I was sent Pips prints and a card in the mail signed by Dr. Kat and all the staff. It was an incredibly nice gesture. I was also offered options on what to do with Pips body after she was gone.

Ill be the first to tell you that I am never easy on veterinarians. My pets are my babies and Im very protective of them. Never have I had a vet where I felt so at ease and so happy with the care they took with my pets as I did at Highland Animal Hospital. Dr. Trombley even did a follow up call to check in on my dog after a brief phone conversation the day prior. WOW! Always thoughtful, kind, and caring. I recommend this place to everyone.

I have been using them for a little while and I love all of the staff there. Everyone is easy to talk to and very friendly. Even while I am waiting the staff will talk to me or come out and greet my dog for a moment before returning to work. I like to see that they are actually animal lovers and not just employees.

I have been taking every family pet from a ferret to a cat or foster kitten to now my own dogs here. I absolutely love the vets and the staff. They have helped me out in any emergency or just by seeing me on a weekend with no notice. They have never fallen short of loving and caring for my pets like I do.

Great services, very attentive to my needs when it came to my pup. I called to get information on ear cropping and was able to set up an appointment the same day. I would say Im pretty pleased with the outcome of the procedure. Before and after photo of ear cropping.

Im quite pleased with this Vet provider. I had switched solely out of convenience (its much closer than where I was going). There are always plenty of staff to answer questions and their pricing seems fair and the terms transparent. We have a dog and two cats.
