My wife & I have been using this vet clinic for over a year now and highly recommend it to anyone wanting that personalized service touch. We inherited two senior yorky-poos when my mother had to moved to an assisted living center. Mom is 90 and the dogs are 14. Our first visit last year was for the annual check-up for the dogs. The staff and the doctor were fantastic, knew the dogs, and made us feel right at home and a part of the family. I expected the doctor to be professional, but he was also open, friendly, and conversational ... explained what they were doing, why they were doing it, and gave an overall status report that we could understand. Recently we had to take Bubba in for minor, elective surgery. We dropped the Bubba off early at 7:30, the doctor called later in the morning after completing the blood work to say everything looked good and they were about the begin the surgery. The doctor said he would call if there were any unexpected problems. This gave my wife and I comfort through the day knowing that no phone call meant everything was going well. That was confirmed when we picked Bubba up at the end of the day. His tail was wagging and he was glad to see us. This clinic, the doctors, and the staff are top-notch.

Online reviews are valuable for finding new human or animal doctors. Previous to the following experience, we were happy clients and still think Dr. Bass rocks. Unfortunately, it took two emergencies for us to snap that this clinic is operating in the Stone Age. They advertise that they are available after hours for emergencies and yet when we needed them most on two occasions within a three week time span, the owner, Dr. Saathoff (who was on call) did not respond to any of the numerous pages. Yes, they use an antiquated pager system for their emergency notification. So when you are scared for your animal’s life, you have to stop, find a pen and paper, write their pager number down and then hope that your fingers aren’t shaking and type your number in correctly. That’s it. And you wait. You can try paging them again (twice on one emergency and four times on the second) but when ZERO of your calls are returned, you then realize your animal’s life could possibly have been saved had you used a clinic who used an answering service with a human taking your call. Upon questioning them, they confirmed we had entered the number correctly and we received a shrug and a card in the mail. Think twice before using this clinic.

January 15, 2013 our 12 year old Pomeranian got very sick. I called and even though it was Saturday almost noon they told us to come in. Dr. Bass knew almost immediately what was wrong with Sandy. She needed emergency surgery. Instead of sending us to another clinic, he did the surgery right then. Early in the morning on March 15, 2013 Sandy was taken by an owl. We looked for her later that evening thinking we were going to bury her and found her alive about 14 hours after she was taken. Since we were unable to determine the extent of her wounds, I called the vet clinic. Dr. Bass just happened to be in the office on another emergency. He told us to bring her in immediately. He was gentle with her and took great care with her wounds. Sandy is doing great because of Dr. Bass!

I am NOT please with this clinic. its not my normal clinic, its my moms. she had taken our 11 years old family dog in due to an issue. I didnt feel right about her diagnosis so I took her to my regular vet. come to find out due to rosehills misdiagnosis and poor judgment our dog of 11 years now has a death sentence. I would not recommend this vet to my most hated enemy. stay clear!!!!!!! the vets are young and inexperienced. not to mention they rape your wallet! what I paid 400.00 for there, I paid 125.00 at my vet. im still working out the details, but I will be taking this further.

Emergency care was great! I was in a car accident right down the street from this place and rushed in with my dog who had been thrown against the dash. He was bleeding and they came right out and helped me with him. They did immediate xrays of his leg which he was favoring. The vet was VERY thorough checking him out! Just a few bruises so they sent us home and then they called the next day to check on him. A very good experience during a horrible situation! Even though they are not my usual vet (I dont live in that area) they were awesome and I would definitely recommend them!

We have used this vet for several years. They know us and our dogs on-sight and greet us by name. They put in the extra effort to diagnose and work with us to develop treatment for special situations (e.g., a Dobe rescue with chronic mange inflammations that requires ongoing treatments to prevent recurrences). They have been there when we needed them and met us at the office for off-hour emergencies. Their assistants and office staff are always helpful and go out of their way to interact with the dogs when we are there. I highly recommend them.

I can not say enough great things about Rosehill Vet Clinic I have been taking my dachshund here for many years and he has always received the very best care. I could be described as an eccentric pet owner and the Rosehill Staff has always helped me in every way. I have used the emergency care service (which I am thankful they have) and my calls have always been returned within 5-10 minutes. Dr. Martindale is always very patient and understand towards both me and my pet. I must say the entire staff is great.

Have been a client for over 10 years. I love all of the doctors and have always felt that they care as much about the health of my pets as I do. I have the utmost confidence in their expertise and professionalism. They take the time to help you make informed decisions and dont waste your money with unnecessary testing/procedures. They are the right kind of old-school practice that truly care about their clients before profits.

I have been using Rosehill now for 6yrs and never had any problem with their lack of care or staff. They are very friendly, caring and always listen. The Vets are great they have 3 vets at the clinic. The see dogs, cats and horses. They have clean facilities and your get a warm home like feel when you walk in the door. I would recommend them for anyone wanting great doctors and staff to treat their family pets. AEHP

Most caring group of Vets. They have taken care of my kids for years and have been so compassionate when it was needed! My dogs dont dislike going to the vet. They think it is an adventure. When I had the large animals, theyd do the farm calls for me. The office staff is AMAZING - and amazingly patient!
