PLEASE READ AND SHARE Today my dog Rex (7mo old Boxer) ate a bee... Hes a bit goofy. I took him to the vet because his tongue immediately started swelling and he was a difficult time breathing. When I got to the vet they showed me to a room where the vet tech was waiting. I opened Rexs mouth and showed her the situation and she went to get the Dr. The Dr. (that had never seen Rex EVER) came in holding the THREE muzzles. She stated that in previous visits my dog has been unpredictable, what she is referring to is the last time we went in to visit the vet tech that saw us that time got scared when Rex let out a moan A MOAN NOT A GROWL!!!! NO TEETH WERE BARED AND HE DID NOT IN ANY WAY SNAP!! I put my foot down and said that in no way they would be muzzling him. She informed me that if he bit they would quarantine him and it was best for everyone in the room if he remained muzzled. I told her that IF he bit her we would cross that bridge at that time but that muzzling a dog that already had a problem breathing was not OK. They ended up going along with it and we had a fine visit. Rex took 3 shots (ONE WITH A NEEDLE THAT SHE TOOK OUT OF HIS LEG AND PLACED IN HIS HIP WITH NO STERILIZATION OR ANYTHING) his blood pressure checked, and everything else that goes with a normal visit with no growl, snarl or even a whine. IT IS VETS LIKE THESE THAT CREATE AGGRESSIVE DOGS!!!!! PLEASE SHARE THIS AND ADVISE ANYONE YOU KNOW TO AVOID PAWS TO CLAWS VET IN MAGNOLIA, TX AT ALL COSTS!!!!! HAD REX NOT BEEN IN SUCH A SERIOUS CONDITION I WOULD HAVE LEFT.....

I wish I could give no stars at all, I was referred here and honestly it was the worst mistake Ive ever made, I went in, my dog has cherry eye, he has a bad knee and had an ear infection, from the get go, they stuck qtips so far in his ears he cried all 4 times they did it and they didnt show any remorse whatsoever, then she grabs my dogs back legs to lay him down and pulls them out from underneath him making his knee pop out of place, already Im very aggravated then as the appointment goes on, she had the nerve to tell me as much as shed enjoy getting in there and playing with my dogs cherrys in surgery shell refer me to someone else, I mean really what kind of respect is that, all in all I was extremely uncomfortable and will never take my dog back here, she had continued to call me and its honestly been 2-3 a day thats a bit excessive, if I were you and you expect your dog to be treated with the same care and love you show him at home stay away from this place.

I cant speak to the level of service or quality of veterinary care here, but I can speak to the kindness and character of the owners. I chose their front porch as a rest stop on a long and brutal bike ride one Sunday afternoon I had reached my physical limit and needed shade and rest. I was completely out of water. Instead of seeing me as a vagrant cluttering up their business front, they made sure I was ok and offered me some cold water, which was much needed. They were moving some equipment and I offered to help as to repay their kindness but they wouldnt hear of it. Instead they just brought me more water and asked if I needed anything else. I dont live in the area nor do I have any pets, but if I did, I would give these generous people my business.

I have entrusted my four legged babies to this office since 1996, even through an ownership change and have always received the best care possible. After the ownership change, I believe, the level of care and concern was elevated. It makes no difference if its Dr. Scott or Dr. Turner we have always received high quality care. If they cant provide necessary treatment they will refer you to the best clinic that can provide the treatment. The staff is not only friendly but truly caring and compassionate. My four legged babies are like my kids and I would never take them anywhere that I wasnt confident they would receive the very best of care.

I am so happy and pleased with this vet!! They are knowledgeable and very caring with my conure. Today was my baby birds first check up and he didnt get upset at all. They trimmed his nails, checked his wings, and took some blood for tests being very delicate the entire time. I absolutely recommend for anyone looking for a wonderful vet!! The front desk staff is very friendly (hard to find), the assistants are on game, and the doctor is just fantastic. Thanks yall!!! Im now looking into transferring my two dogs here too and leaving the vet theyve had for almost 10 years.

Paws to Claws is a stellar vet clinic. They have recently added a third vet, who I havent met yet, but Doctors Scott and Turner are both excellent. My husband and I do a lot of research and often have contributions to make to our pets care, and the doctors are ready and willing to listen to what we find.

Dr. Tamborello and the staff at Paws to Claws were great in treating my cat, who is normally very sweet, but turns into a wild animal at the vet. They let me help hold her during her shots and blood drawing which saved us from having to return for a second visit. Thanks again!

Both doctors, Dr. Turner and Dr. Scott are very knowledgeable, kind, caring and friendly. They are one of the only vets in town that see birds and rabbits as well as the more typical pets. They have a wonderful boarding service as well. Highly recommend!
