I called with wisdom tooth pain. The receptionist worked with me to get my insurance information and make sure everything was good to go, no hassle. When I arrived, They offered drinks and everyone was hospitable. Dr. Brianna Berg was my dentist. I have always had a fear of dentistry, ever since I had an old man dentist with the shakes and a...not so gentle way of doing things. My experience in her office was a complete flip of that. I ended up having an exposed wisdom tooth and extraction was possible without an oral surgeon. Dr. Berg proceeded to inform me that she loves pulling out teeth. She gave me a metaphor that compared it to pulling weeds, which only made me feel more comfortable that I came to the right place. I got numbed up and my teeth cleaned first. The woman who cleaned my teeth was kind and very thorough in making sure my teeth were clean. I was then returned to Dr. Berg for extraction. She explained every risk of pulling the tooth, and took care of it quickly. I had not slept the night before, and being able to get in, and get it out painlessly was a JOY. I was awarded a gift bag after my visit and checked in to set my next appointment. I got a call and a nice voicemail from Dr. Berg later that day, but I slept all day and all night. The best dentist I have ever been to. Highly recommended. Completely removed my fear and anxiety of the drill. I will be back.

I was an emergency-short-notice patient and I was able to contact Dr. Berg on his cell before he got to the office and explain my situation to him. I received a call back at 735 AM and was scheduled in for 11 AM! It was such a relief that I was able to receive such speedy and competent care that the 23 miles I drive to the Orono location was no problem at all. I am convinced that no other provider can offer the level of personal care and understanding that is the norm at Orono Dental Care...I know because I have been a patient there for 15 years. I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Berg, Kari and the rest of his staff, and this latest experience is just another success story that assures me I am getting the best care possible.

Amazing experience! I needed a crown, my first time ever. Dr. Brianna and her hygienist Suzy were delightful, caring, and reassuring throughout! Artists, too! The equipment on site made me a beautiful tooth, finely crafted to fit and match perfectly by the younger Dr. Berg and Suzy. My family has used this office for many years because of the friendly attention from the front desk, to the professional work, to the ease of financing even a simple cleaning. The benefits of Orono Dental are many. I wouldnt consider going anywhere else with my family. I get to go back for my new mouth guard soon, and am looking forward to seeing them all again! I may even save up for more elective crowns!

I had an appointment today with Dr.Karl Berg. The procedure went beautifully and he explained in detail what he was doing, and did his usual efficient and talented treatment. I would not have had anyone else do this work. He has been our family dentist since he first started his practice. I would not go anywhere else even though it is a distance from my home. My children who are married and have children also remain loyal patients. We love the staff and the wonderful way we are treated at Orono Dental Care. Dr. Berg gave us a WONDERFUL visit today! Our teenage son has always been self conscious of his smile with lots of gaps and irregular teeth. He wont smile or even laugh with his teeth showing. Today, he had bonding applied to 7 of his front top teeth and he said "I dont feel self conscious anymore." I was in tears. His smile is so beautiful. This is truly life-changing for him. Thank you so much Dr. Berg for the transformation in Andrews smile and in giving him more confidence and joy! You are an artist and a miracle worker! (I wish I could post before and after photos!)

No one really goes to the dentist expecting to have the best time ever. I mean, how much fun is it to have someone scrape at your teeth with a metal implement? But that being said, my experiences here have been nothing short of great. The staff is always kind, my dental hygienist, Kelsey, was very skilled, and the technology they implement to do their jobs seems top notch. They can take an x-ray of my teeth and I see it almost instantly pop up on the computer screen. Thats cool. So I would heartily recommend Orono Dental Care to anyone.

It was great because Dr. Berg is so good and funny I might add. I trust Dr. Berg with my entire mouth. His assistant was good too. Thankyou! My husband, my daughter and I will all be back as long as we get Dr. Karl Berg. Especially my 22 year old daughter. She only trusts Dr. Berg. (and with reason after her terrible appointment with another dentist.) So anyway, we are extremely happy with Dr. Berg and his entire staff, including all the front desk people! Lauren

I only started with Dr. Skramstad when I moved to Orono 7 years ago but, I have since converted the rest of my family to go there. I recently had a crown put on and given the latest technology which he used it does not deserve that name. It is a really a upper tooth replacement and it looks just like the original tooth! It is made of super tough ceramic and the appointment was 1.5 hours with everything completed--no second visit required.

Great practice! Friendly staff with appointments that always start on time! Dr. Berg is very gentle and concerned for his patients comfort, and explains each step of the procedures. They also use the latest equipment like digital x-rays, and have even done crowns for me in one visit. I have personally referred friends who are also happy with the practice. I think you will be happy with your treatment at Orono Dental.

Dr Berg and his staff are phenomenal! In fact, my adult children who moved to other communities and have visited "more convenient" dentists have all come back to Orono Dental Care and find it well worth the drive time. The personable Dr Berg and staff make each visit fun and educational, the dentistry and technology is top notch. We as a family highly recommend Dr Berg and his staff.

Love Orono Dental Care. In fact, our family continues to go there despite the fact that they are no longer considered in-network for MetLife. Have found that the delta is insignificant when compared to the service and atmosphere. My kids dont have any fears or issues with going to Orono Dental. Outstanding dental office! Dr Skramstad is our dentist and he is a "natural" with unusually excellent dental skills. No one likes sitting in a dental chair and he is so efficient to give you a beautiful smile and send you on your way. We are amazed at the quality of his work.
