My four year old daughter had to get quiet a bit of dental work done. Other pediatric dental offices told us she would have this dental work done in the hospital under anesthetic and would cost anywhere from five to $8000. Dr. Matt at this facility did all of our daughters dental work in his office for under $1000. I cannot begin to express our gratitude for Dr. matt and all of the dental assistance. Everyone in that office including the receptionists are so kind, I would recommend this dentist to anybody. My daughter love the jungle atmosphere, and all the fun games in the waiting room.

Very Friendly. Super Efficient. We waited less than five minutes, and my almost two year had a very positive experience. From the books in the waiting room, to the smiling zoo animals leading the way down the hallway to the exam room, this place is very welcoming. The dental staff have a system for making your kid feel comfortable. Think lots of stickers, cartoons, penguin toothbrushes and interactions. When the dentist examined her teeth, my little one was able to stay in my lap and just lean back onto the dentists lap. Highly, highly recommended!!

very unfortunate experience with this dentist office. Cannot recommend due to office policies and treatment of parents.Was told one thing by the staff and then told something completely different by the office manager. The end result was even with open appointments they refused to see a child solely because Iowa is not her home state even though the insurance company had recommended this dentist. (all coverage had been verified by the insurance company so there was no financial reason to refuse to see the child for a routine checkup)

We have tried a number of different dentists befor DMPDC. We were completely blown away by Dr Diana Pelzers service and the willingness to work on the kids instead of just wanting to do every thing in the operating room. Diana and her assistant Laurisa were awesome with the kids and did a great job at making them feel comfortable and relaxed they look forward to seeing them every time, thanks again. We would highly recommend any one else to give them a chance they will not disappoint you.

My daughter loves going to dmpdc. All the staff is friendly and wonderful with her. They are very patient and take the time to explain to her exactly what they are doing and why. They let her feel the tools, air, etc. so she knows they are not scary before they go into her mouth. Ive never had an issue getting my daughter to go to the dentist and I give 100% credit to them for that. I highly recommend dmpdc for anyone looking for a wonderful pediatric dentist office.

My daughter is 3yrs old. This is the first time she did not scream while cleaning her teeth. She love watching Mickey Mouse during her appointment. I loved how the lady cleaning her teeth talked her through each step. Huge success today! My son also was here for the first time. He is 1 yrs old and did really good. He cried a little but nothing like my daughter did when she was 1yrs old. He also looked really relaxed and comfortable with staff. Great job!!!!!!

The waiting room was great for the kids waiting for their appointment with games on tablets and video games to play. The staff was welcoming and answered all of our questions. Dr. Matt took care of our kids, explaining the importance of daily brushing and flossing. The dentist can be a scary place for kids and adults alike, but this office takes going to the dentist to the next level in customer care and dentistry. Looking forward to our next visit.

We started going to Dr. Matt when my oldest child was a toddler. They have always made her feel comfortable, welcome and willing to help ease the nerves when she was not sure what to expect. We knew we would keep the same dentist when my son reached the age to start visiting. Both kids love going there! The staff and service are wonderful! Kudos to everyone, keep up the great work!

I would highly recommend Des Moines Pediatric Dental Center, and Dr. Diana Pelzer in particular. We have taken both of our boys there (ages 5 and 2) for their regular dental checkups. Dr. Pelzer does a fantastic job at making our kids comfortable, and also educating my husband and me on techniques to make regular dental hygiene easier and more effective for both child and parent!

Dr. Diana Pelzer did a wonderful job with my son at keeping him distracted while she was doing her work. I was expecting him to cry like he usually does when I take him to the doctor, but he did not. She explained to me what I needed to do in order to keep his teeth and gums healthy. The staff were very helpful as well since the moment I called to schedule the appointment.

This is a great pediatric dentist office. Dr. Matt is great, very informative and thorough and the hygienists/assistants are awesome too. Theyre all good with the kids and very friendly and courteous. Everything is clean and organized and my kids dont mind going to the dentist at all. Definitely recommend this office if youre looking somewhere to take your child(ren)!

My kids have been going here for almost 10 years! They love dr Matt! The environment of the office is kid friendly with animal paintings on the wall and games while they wait! We never have a wait of more than 5 minutes from our scheduled appointment! And the ladies at the front are informative and curteous! I highly recommend this dentist office for kids!

I highly recommend Dr Matt! The entire staff is fantastic! The front desk staff has been extremely helpful with my insurance snafus. All the technicians and Dr Matt are fabulous with children. The office provides a great, child friendly environment and my daughters have never feared a dental visit! This is exactly how a pediatric dentist should be!

Its always a pleasant experience going to Des Moines Pediatric Dental Center. All staff is friendly, from the front office to the hygienists to Dr. Kubovich. Dr. Kubovich always takes the time to answer any questions I have and is very good at explaining things that need to be explained. I know my daughter is in good hands there!

The staff is always polite and explain everything before I sign and have been very patient with insurance changes. Dr Matt is always friendly and never makes me feel like I am keeping him when I have questions. Everyone explains whats going to happen to my 6yr old son and answer all of his many questions! Very clean office.

Dr. Matt and all the staff are very friendly. As a busy mom I appreciate how efficient, organized and prompt their office is when I take my 3 kids in for their appointments. With some doctors offices, a simple appointment can take an hour or more, most of it spent waiting. But at DMPDC we are in and out in a timely manner!

There are video games in the waiting room and flat screen TVs above each exam chair - the perfect thing to keep my special needs child occupied before and during his visit. Dr Kubavitch and his dental assistants are so good with my special needs child - very caring and patient. The office staff is equally wonderful.

My son use to hate going to the dentist. A prior dentist had him fearing dentist, at the age of about 3 they preformed oral surgery on him. He would cry & scream every time he found out about the dentist. We switched to this group and he loves it. He goes back by himself & when we drive by he says "Hi Dr. Matt"
