Please do NOT take your pet here if you have any choice!! We took my cat here one night because he had swallowed a piece of ribbon. We were escorted into an exam room where a vet tech examined my cat. She left and came back telling us the doctor wished to operate immediately. We did not feel totally comfortable but it was an emergency so we left our little angel with him. That was the last time we ever saw my cat alive. Less than 2 hours later I received a call from Dr. Murray telling me that my cat did not even make it into surgery. During anasthesia, he claimed my cat had a seizure, then another, then a heart attack and could not be revived. could not even explain what went wrong, he acted like he had no idea. My pet was a special needs cat and had gone through at least 5 surgeries in the previous 2 years, never having ANY problem with anasthesia or complications with his surgeries. The next day I went to get his body and more horrible service followed. First they had still charged me for the surgery and had to leave the room and come back 3 times to figure out that they didnt even start it. Then they charged me for an x-ray that Dr. Murray told me would not be charged, I had to make them remove that also. Still they charged me over $400. The vet tech who explained this to us was extremely rude, calling my cat it the whole time and making several errors. I suspected they had screwed up so I wanted a necropsy - the tech told me we couldnt do one because over the phone I had turned down the necropsy option. They also said it was too late now because they had frozen his body due to me turning down the necropsy. Firstly - I never turned down or even was asked about a necropsy! Secondly, I asked my normal vet and she said that was incorrect. so I took the body and she did a necropsy that day, no problem. It seems like they made a mistake pre-op and were trying to cover it all up and still overcharge me, while being rude .I had my vet call them and they were rude and aggressive with her, and she told me she was very suspicious and demanded full medical reports from them. We then did research and saw that Aloma Jancy has an F rating from the BBB. Dr. Murray has also had his license revoked in the past. I am filing a formal complaint to the state board and BBB.

Terrible, terrible place! Highly unprofessional! They have no idea what they are doing. Their files are inadequately kept, they are disorganized and they will lie to you! I have heard multiple emergencies come in and voila, all of them ended up dying. You hear and see the people coming in and then historically crying. They so very often have misdiagnosed our dogs that its not even funny! Or they just simply wont tell you whats wrong with them. Each time you go in, its a different vet that does not diagnose well. Let me not mention the 1-2 hours wait time! They are rude. Once I was asked "have these been here before"? These referring to my two small dogs who have been going there for about 2 years! Their MVP program is a lie! Their staff gives inaccurate information regarding their pricing and programs! Techs will openly complain about their working environment and how much they hate having to come to the front. They are not cheap whatsoever! And let me tell you about the time that we were turned away with a sick dog grasping for air because they did not have a vet in until 10am. At an animal hospital! I have no words how bad this place is! Thankfully we switched before it was too late! And let me not mention how the owners veterinarian license was revoked due to him abusing the meds. No need to say anymore about this place! If you love your pet, run the other way! This place is dangerous for your loved animals!!!

You know, this place has some pretty bad reviews. Fortunately, all of the bad reviews come from people that have like, five or less reviews total. Some people just make accounts to complain. No business can satisfy 100% of the people, but those dissatisfied people are way more likely to make a Yelp account a gripe than a satisfied person is to make an account to sing praise. I have been coming to Aloma Jancy for the whole two-and-a-half years of my kitties lives, and they have been wonderful for every single visit I have ever had. Ive recently just enrolled in their Very Important Pet (VIP) program, so, since Im a responsible pet owner, and get my kitties their yearly boosters, for $50 more per kitty, I get free exams all year long. They offer boarding services and grooming services for the cheap. Sure, its not the Ritz, but I dont make Rtiz money, and all the techs and vets treat my kitties with love and compassion. They always look through their charts to see whats been going on in past visits. Not even real physicians do that for their human patients. The only thing I could complain about is the prolonged time it sometimes takes to be seen, but keep this in mind, this place is first and foremost an animal hospital, so pet emergencies take precedence over normal appointments, and Im a-ok with that. Overall, I love this place, and I will keep on bringing my girls here for the rest of their lives.

They Argued how I could not have heart medicine because of no heart test on file. They Explained the medicine is bad for dogs if given without a heart test every six months and that they NEVER got a test and it was not on file. I explained I always got the heart medicine there and to find receipt. Last time the heart medicine was received was in July 2017 and on file. I told them that files are missing and they have had the test done. The clinic found the file and said the test was done at different clinic in January of 2015 (2 year gap) I then asked why were they given heart medicine without the test for so long. The point here was not to get the heart medicine as they perceived. I was told that wasnt going to happen nor did I want it when the incompetence shined through. The point here was that if what was said about the heart medicine and the test needed every six months were true, this is a classic case of malpractice. No test for over a year, on file. Receipt of Medicine 2 months ago, on file. And the whole time they thought I wanted the medicine when in all actuality I was proving that they had been giving my animals medicine they should not have been receiving for 7 months and its all, on file. Never taking my dogs here again and because of this screw up, it could happen to anyones pet. This shows how the small things can lead to BIG mistakes.

I called Aloma Jancy for my blocked male cat. Rather than have me bring him in right away, as I later found to be common Vet practice for this life-and-death issue (bladder could rupture any moment), I had to wait 5 hours for an open appointment. Once my cat was seen, they determined he needed catheterization, which I approved. $600 and 48 hours later, they released my cat late in the evening. Once home, I noticed my cat was still blocked. I called AJ as soon as I realized this. Rather than getting a bring him in right away, I was informed the next available appointment was 4 hours out. Needless to say, I called a different vet who did say bring him right in - we will work him in to our schedule. This vet stated that he was indeed still blocked and asked what the previous vets x-ray results were since this is a standard test for this type of issue. Aloma Jancy did not x-ray my cat so I had no results to provide. The new vet found numerous stones in his bladder which, unless removed, would cause blockage again (as we already found out). The good news is my cat survived the inadequate care from Aloma Jancy and is now receiving the treatment (surgery) he requires. The bad news is that I was taken for $600 by these guys. Very disappointed in Aloma Jancy as I WAS a client for 20 years. Obviously, I will never go back after this episode.
