The staff here has been very kind and considerate the last 2 years that I have been going here. Ive seen a few different hygienists and most of the Drs there. The hygienists have done a great job in the past with my teeth cleaning visits. They really take their time and do a good job. They do a great job of looking for things that could be a problem in the future, and make a recommendation to help prevent the problem. I started a new medication that caused me to have a dry mouth, and my dental hygienist recommended that I start to use a special mouthwash to help it. She explained all of the risks associated with it, which I was not aware of! Scheduling is also very convenient and they are often able to get you an appointment quickly if it is needed. I recently got my top wisdom teeth taken out by Dr. Rahimi, and it was a great experience. I had previously gotten my bottom wisdom teeth out at a different clinic in WI. My previous experience involved feeling extremely out of it the entire day of the surgery. I did experience a lot of pain, which is more common with the bottom teeth. My surgery at this clinic went very well. I did not feel like I was over sedated that day, and I was able to function later that day. I felt good enough to go to a family reunion that very afternoon. I still experienced pain, which is expected, but I felt that they did a really good job managing my pain. Overall, I have had a great experience at this clinic. I highly recommend them!

I hadnt been to the dentist in at least 5 years and admittedly take very poor care of my teeth (thanks to my genetics I have not ruined my mouth because of this). I went in to their office because it is close to my apartment and they had amazing reviews online. They were also able to get me in the next morning before I had to be at work - so fast and I wouldnt have to take any time off! During my initial exam the hygienist, Nancy, took great pains to perform my x-rays efficiently and with as little discomfort as possible. Once I told the staff there that I hadnt been to the dentist in years and I was very apprehensive, they were extremely reassuring and explained all the procedures. I was instructed that I would have to come in to get two fillings (a procedure Ive never had performed before). Dr. Mahabadi was extremely patient with me and even indulged my requests like hearing the drill before she used it, letting me listen to music during the procedure, and waiting longer for the anesthetic to kick in so I could calm my nerves. The main thing Ive really liked about this office is that nobody has treated me tersely for being nervous during the procedures and not one of the professionals has "shamed" me for not taking as good of care of my teeth as I should have been. They have been encouraging and positive...great dentist!

I know my opinion of the place differs from the other reviews online- hell, I chose the place because of all the good online reveiws. The front desk staff was very nice and professional, but I was not satisfied with the assistant and the dentist herself. I felt like they were condescending and tried to use scare tactics to persuade me to agree to cosmetic procedures (something I specifically said I was not interested in). Taking xrays was long and painful, something I had not never experienced before- the hygienist struggled a lot with the plastic part that goes in your mouth, no apologies or anything when I asked for a break due to the rough handling. The dentist did not seem particularly interested in my overall dental health and only spent about five minutes with me. She also was not very receptive to questions. I got a congratulations-no-cavities card in the mail after my visit- however, three weeks later, I found what turned out to be a very large cavity that they did not find. I asked them to check throughly because I had not seen a dentist in several years but they still missed it. Maybe some of the other dentists at Bassett Creek Dental are great, but I cannot recommend Dr. Bruning or Winnie (the hygienist).

I had a bad experience with a dentist when I was 17 that left me feeling horrified to ever go back to the dentist office even for a cleaning, now being 32 I recently started having dental problems due to 2 chipped teeth I had. It started with ruining a vacation I was on, there was constant pain and my gums swelled up so bad that I spent most of the time in the hotel, but I still refused to go to the dentist. Then my girlfriend convinced me that it could be life threatening and that I really should go in. Since I was so afraid of going in we google best dental in Golden Valley and they were #1 on the list, and I know why. After my major dental problems were dealt with I was left speechless, due to the work and my experience with them. From my first visit I felt welcome, they knew who I was right when I walked in (probably cause of the fear written all over my face) they always ways made sure I felt comfortable ( Dr.Solberg is awesome, along with Diane)I mean I could on for awhile about how this changed my fear of the dentist office. When all is said and done simply put if your looking for the best Bassett Creek Dental is truly the Best! P.S. Ill be a repeat customer for future dental visits.

Although the staff was friendly and seemed great, I was charged much more than expected and my concerns were not addressed at the appointment or during my follow-up call. My recent visit was my first appointment with Bassett Creek, and I chose them based on the "Free Exam" flyer that I received in the mail. During the visit, the staff chose expensive procedures (more comprehensive x-rays) and did additional, probably unnecessary, work that I did not ask for (fluoride coating). I was also not informed that any of these extra procedures were not covered by the "Free Exam" flyer. I ended up spending a few hundred dollars that I was not expecting to pay - the exam was definitely NOT free. During my follow up call, the staff apologized, but did nothing more to remedy the situation. I am highly disappointed by the misleading flyer and the unnecessary procedures performed. UPDATE: I switched dentists because of the shady billing mentioned before. Bassett Creek is now holding my dental records hostage pending a signed explanation of why I switched dentists. Is that even legal? Ill never deal with Bassett Creek again.

I had my first visit with Dr. Tsuchiya. I was recommended him, and Im really glad I went! The staff was extremely nice and professional (Ive never had a tour of the doctors office before). It seems like every consideration was taken care of (though I never felt right about having juice right before seeing the dentist, nor right after my cleaning. :)) Dr. Tsuchiya was very nice and extremely knowlegable and helpful. I have been to several dentists in several different states (my work moves me a lot) and this by far was the best dentist office Ive been to. I highly recommend them to anyone! Update: I recently had a crown installed. I was impressed by how efficient the process was (less than 1 1/2 hours start to finish), and most especially impressed with how Dr. Tsuchiya explained every step he was taking as he did it ("Im just going to blow a little air on it now to dry it out...ok, now Im going to just add a little powder that helps the camera see your tooth..."etc.) I found it extremely useful to know exactly what they were doing. Ive never experienced that before at a dentist.
