Kudos to Madison & Dr. Mike, We thought that our 8 year old American Bulldog Ariel was just moping on the bed all week as she normally does when I go out of town, so my wife and daughter didnt think anything of it. when I came back in town Friday she stood up to greet me and she could hardly stand, we thought she may have injured her leg. Saturday we waited to see if it would play out by itself, her condition worsened severely come Sunday morning. Could barely walk & would whimper in pain. Having just moved here from Pensacola 2 weeks ago we hadnt decided on a vet yet. I came across Avalon & noticed they were opened Sunday from 10-2 as well as did house calls. I called and spoke with Madison and she told me she would call me back if a vet was available. She informs me that they are booked until 2 but the Doc would come over after they closed. Once Madison and Dr. Mike arrived she was a little tender around the left shoulder. Mike suggest we have her x-rayed at the shop. I asked okay when is convenient ? He says Right Now!! Shes in pain man. Keep in mind they closed 45 minutes ago. Didnt matter to him. Once at the shop x-ray shows nothing major with the shoulder, so he does a sonogram, Our fault for not having her spayed at this age, resulting in a severely infected uterus. $-5 large puss balls. He instantly says this dog needs surgery or this is real likely to burst SOON, after I accepted this, I am thinking okay they closed awhile ago, probably bring her back in the morning. So I ask "when do we do this"? Right now!! he states without hesitation. They immediately prepped her for surgery and went into action. We picked her up at 6:30 that evening. Might I add Madison just usually answers the phone I believe, and stayed right there assisting, and comforting our Ariel the whole way thru. We know who our vet will be. Mike & Madison we can not thank you enough for your dedication to caring for our pet, as well as all the others I am sure you do on a daily basis.

The only word that can adequately describe the staff at Avalon Veterinary Clinic is HEROES. We had adopted a 6 month old Pit-Bull puppy, whom, when we brought him home, was a normal, happy, extremely energetic little boy. After about three days, he took a drastic turn, and became lethargic, sickly, refusing to eat or drink, and had extremely high fevers. We took him in, and the first vet that saw him thought it was kennel cough, and an ear infection. We accepted this advice, took him home with antibiotics and ear meds, and waited to see him get better. He got worse. We took him back to the clinic, and learned that the first vet we had seen was no longer with the practice. We were somewhat relieved, as that vet had little or no empathy or interest in our pet. The new veterinarian, Dr. Ashley, immediately flew into action, and vowed to get to the bottom of why our puppy was so sick. She ran bloodwork, did x-rays, and after understanding some of our financial constraints, offered to do whatever was neccessary to get our dog healthy again. She took our dog into the clinic and cared for him during the day, and sent him home with us during the night, so he could rest at home, with specific instructions to contact her should ANYTHING unusual happen. The next day, we took him in so he could have his I.V. therapy, and The Clinic called to say that Dr. Ashley was concerned that there was no progress. Well, long story short, Dr. Ashley, Dr. Scott, Dr. Mike, and the entire staff fo the Avalon Veterinary Clinic went so far above and beyond anything we could have ever expected to make sure our new baby was well cared for and made healthy again, that we will forever keep them in our hearts. The actions of this fine, dedicated new addition to the veterinary staff have resonated deeply with us. Her passion, and compassion are rare and remarkable. Thank you, Dr. Ashley. Thank you, Avalon Veterinary Clinic.

EXTREMELY RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF! FIRST, let me start off by saying that my dogs WERE loyal patients at Avalon VET Clinic for 2 years. Today will be the last time that I ever go there again! DR. JENNIFER JUBENVILLE and one of her employees named KELLY pushed me to the edge today and it was not the first time Jennifer has been RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL with me. The first time Jennifer rubbed me the wrong way was when she was comparing my dogs looks right in front of me talking about "Oh shes a lot cuter than him in the face, I like her better" ARE YOU SERIOUS? That is NO WAY a VET should talk to ANY of their patients no matter how ugly they think that persons dog is! THEN came toady! KELLY got extremely RUDE with me asking me questions she had NO business asking because I decided to go elsewhere to purchase my dogs ear infection medication! And when I was told to sign a paper stating theyre not responsible and will not treat her if any complications occur if I go else where, DR. JENNIFERs comments on the paper were very condescending and RUDE! DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A CLINIC THAT TRULEY VALUES CUSTOMER SERVICE AND FAIRLY PRICED TREATMENTS!

My dog was obviously felling bad so I called the Avalon Vet Clinic to see if I needed to make an appointment. I was informed to bring her in then, no appointment neccessary. I took her in and found that she had a raging temperature that could have killed her. The vets both stayed well after closing doing all kinds of tests to try to figure out what was causing this high of a temp. They managed to bring her temp. down and we finally went home. My dog managed to make it through the night but the following day she was going down hill again. I took her back and both vets worked on her all day and were forced to do emergency surgery on her. They found cancer had blocked her bladder and were unable to do anything more for her. The vets and the receptionist were all very compassionate and did everything they could to help me and my dog through this rough time. They refused to charge me for the emergency surgery or the euthanization. This clinic worked on my dog all day and did everything they could for my dog and charged me nothing. This clinic has the most passionate and compassionate people working for them and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I brought my dog in because she was limping, they did x-rays and decided to put a splint on her leg, in less than five days my dog leg begin to smell, I thought it was the bandage so I decided to change it. When I took it off I realized that what smell was the dog leg not the bandage, so I took my dog back to the vet and when they took off all the gauze and tape my dog had a huge infection in her side nail with pus and everything, and the worst part the vet blame it on me because the splint was humid (like if I wasnt taking good care of the dog) when I told her that I cover up her leg with a plastic bag everytime I walk her and I put the e-collar when unatended, then they told me that my dog licked the splint to much and absorbed her saliva. I was like whatever.. apparently she doesnt know the dogs sweat too. On top of that she charged me for a brief check up (stealing my money) and antibiotics (that I was OK to pay). I think they dont take their job seriously or apperently they only know to do preventive care. I WILL NOT TAKE MY DOG EVER AGAIN TO THIS VET.
