Dr S. Magrey is horrible, her attitude and customer service , is the worst that ive ever experienced from a professional dentist. I was coming in to get a root canal ,but because she had already done several, it wasnt looking to good for me. She decided to just do a filling instead.she insisted that I looked nervous, and tried to give me a volume to relax me. I declined, not all black people want drugs..So I let her fill the tooth. I guess that was an option, but after several weeks a nasty tastes would come from my tooth. I decided to go back for my root canal. She gave me the first shot and walked away, I waited , she returned to do the next one. I again waited for it to become numb, but a bubble formed, huh I thought, so I asked the assistant to assured me, it was fine. Meanwhile I could hear her having a heated argument with a gentleman in the next room. She then came in the room with me, grabbed my cheek, and stuck the needle down my tooth, which felt like a knife stabbing my gum, I sunk into the chair with disbelief, and she immediately started to yell at me, saying"How do u expect me to do a root canal, if u cant be still?Do you want to reschedule. It was in a very nasty tone. I said hold up, you didnt give me a change to prepare! Before u jammed the needle in my mouth. She was still angry about the argument she just had with the fellow next store. I had enough of her, I ripped my bib off,and said if you would have done the correct procedure, "I wouldnt be here now! IM SO DONE WITH HER, SHE SUCKS, HER ATTITUDE IS HORRIBLE, I would never recommend her to anyone. I would rather have my teeth pulled then to deal with her...ugggg

I am a person who has great fear of dentists. I also suffer from panic disorder & at the time of my extractions, I was suffering from a Vertigo attack. I have been in pain since December & on antibiotics as well for an impacted wisdom tooth & molar that were decaying. It was unbearable. My original appointment was to be for the 26th of April, it was the soonest opening for an Oral surgeon. I was also on the cancelation list. I lucked out & was so relieved to get in there last week. I met Dr. Schween & he was so calming. Very personable & reassuring to me. I told him about being under a Vertigo attack which makes me dizzy when I put my head back & he was so accommodating, like it wasnt even a concern. I was probably a nightmare patient for him, however he never made me feel embarrassed for that. He pulled the teeth out after little of his magic & me moaning & groaning & then poof! It was over so quickly. I was semi in shock because of my panic disorder & the women who was assisting him reassured me that I was fine. Im probably the prime patient to be put to sleep for extractions, but could not afford it so I was relieved they didnt kick me out of their office. Lol. My only suggestion would be that a follow phone call wouldve been nice. My mouth was doing so many different things over the following days, it wouldve been nice to have had some answers. But ultimately, Im so thankful for Dr. Schween, Im sorry I was a difficult patient, but thank you so much for going above and beyond for my needs. I wont be so nervous next time for sure, because Ill know Im in great care. You are an awesome person & Oral surgeon.

I went to Hudec Dental with my new insurance last week and was very disappointed. I have received regular and frequent dental care since I was a young child, but when I went for my new patient appointment I was told by Dr. Al Koury that I would need to come back for three special treatments/cleanings costing me a total of $453 with my insurance. She refused to do the regular teeth cleaning covered by my insurance that day due to time constraints, but was more than eager to get started on my $453 of full mouth debridements and resin treatments for the eight cavities she insisted I had. Suspicious, I promptly made an appointment with a different dentist the following week where I had my teeth cleaned without question and x-rays showed I had no cavities. The dentist was also in and out of the exam room so fast I did not have time to as questions. As physicians, my husband and I feel that Hudec Dental is running not only an unprofessional but an unethical business by insisting patients require treatments they do not actually need.

This was the biggest scam Ive ever been witness to in a professional setting. First they have you in for what is supposed to be a routine cleaning, and they take your XRays first. Then they tell you that your teeth need debridedment, meaning that they arent going to do a good job cleaning your teeth because theyre lazy and want to up sell you. Now you get a 5 minute cleaning, and you want to get out of your chair and walk out, but they took XRays and those cost money... so now youre stuck with a $75 5 minute cleaning, because they are trying to get you to spend $250 for a "deep cleaning". Ive never had a cavity in my life and am routinely inspected in the Navy, but they said I have three cavities which my dentist in the Navy said nothing about 3 weeks ago. So, all total they wanted to get $1000 out of me for inflated overstated border-line fraud. Most unprofessional people Ive ever met in a "doctors" visit.

Zero stars.. Had an appt. scheduled Nov. 1 for my son to have his wisdom teeth pulled and got a call 3 days prior from their office saying"sorry we overbooked, can we reschedule for Dec. 1st.?" okay i guess. had already taken off work . i call on Wed. Nov. 30th to confirm appt.. Girl in the office puts me on hold for awhile and comes back with"oral surgeon is out sick, has been for awhile" I say was anyone going to call me???? Horrible office staff, incompetent and unconcerned> DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTAL GROUP. Have to start all over with a new oral surgeon next week. More time off work.. lost pay and missed school. Hudec is TERRIBLE

absolutely awful. i dont recommend any females going to this dentist....stop right now and find a better place. the manager, of ALL PEOPLE, hits on females...offering a bribe of going out on a date to lower their cost of whatever they are going to owe.and even after the fact, when i tried to take this up with the officials, nobody did anything about it or held any type of concern. definitely a major disappointment for trying a dentist for first time after being on my own.

I absolutely love my dentist and this review is not about her. The office cancelled my last 3 appointments because the hygienist will be on vacation. 3 times in a year and a half? Wow. I dont understand why I have to have this particular hygienist. Anyone is fine and I have no odd problems or anything like that. Totally disgusted. I dont want to find a new dentist at this stage of the game but they have left me no choice.
