I never had any issues until my last routine, cleaning. on mondays, no hygenist works, so dr. yee performs the cleaning. I do not know if he was drunk, or just inept and careless, but it was the most painful experience of my life. He poked and scraped deep into my gumline multiple times, my gums were bleeding like crazy. I didnt say anything bc/ you cant when your teeth are being worked on and he only let me rinse twice (once after top teeth, once after bottom). I assumed each jolt of pain was a random slip-up and would not happen again. I felt as if my nerve ends were being stabbed. I could feel the gumline being ripped. Each time I rinsed, the water was stained red, blood and red substance came out. The gauze pad he was wiping his intrusments with was covered in blood? i was flinching and wincing with pain, tears forming. I couldnt believe this happened?!?! Many hours after the visit my gumlines are still swollen and in pain. This was ridiculous. As a fellow healthcare professional, I am appalled that this is possible. One of worst experiences of my life, felt like i was being tortured medevil style ( and I am not one to complain or exaggerate- I never have complained about sevice/filled out reviews before).WOW Additionally, he was rude and demeaning to his secretary, which I did not appreciate or like at all- ordering her around, and talking down to her.
