My 4 year old went in for a routine filling (she had a filling at another dentist without issue a month before). The staff brought her back and was great, making sure she was comfortable and had her favorite movie playing. Dr. Sammons came in the room and got to work applying the topical anesthetic and then immediately giving her the local shot. My daughter began screaming in pain. I was hesitant to intervene since I trusted that Dr. Sammons knew what she was doing. When my daughter wouldnt calm down Dr. Sammons point blank told me that we either stop now or continue while they held her down. That was when I decided that this was not the right practice for my daughter. Dr. Sammons was not concerned that my daughter was uncomfortable and she seemed to be in a hurry to finish. I felt like she could have handled the situation very differently, after all my daughter is just 4 years old and doesnt really understand why she is in pain. I thought a pediatric dentist would understand that but I was wrong.

I just move to the fort Myers area from west palm beach , I must say the experience I had with the staff taking care of all four of my boys was outstanding . They are amazing . Great positive attitudes, they took my kids inside really quick with all my boys , the doctor also explain every detail of what I need for my children . I didnt feel anything but comfort at this place if anyone choose a dentist I know this is the place to be . The whole staff from front desk to dental assistants to the doctors was really helpful very amazing . Oh by the way something other dentist places dont do , is take more then two children at a time but gulf shore dentistry sure does take all children all at the same time this is a huge BIG PLUS for me . Thank you so much ladies for taking care of my children the way you do . I will continue to go to you guys .

This is the place! Our children use to hide and scream about going to the dentist, NOT with Gulf Shore Pediatric Dentistry!!! Someone has finally figured out how to make going to the dentist AWESOME for children. I give my whole hearted recommendation of the dentist and anesthesia provider! 5 stars, two thumbs up and all high fives for Gulf Shore! Best experience yet and we have 3 children 9, 5, & 2. There is nothing like the personable care and comfort offered to our children here.

The staff was incredibly helpful and pleasent! The dentist was very sweet and patient with my two children. I couldnt have asked for a better experience for my children. My son even had fillings and he still enjoyed it! Id say if a dentist can make fillings a good experience they are definately a winner in my book!
