Comfort dental is arguably the most hi-tech dental clinic I have ever been to in the US. The cleanliness of the clinic is remarkable and its noticeable across all areas including the treatment room, the equipment, the tools (you as the consumer can verify that the tools are sterilized because they are wrapped in a special disposable wrapping and autoclaved (its a scientific term used to describe the sterilization process and I know this because I am a former biologist). One of my biggest concerns when I visit a clinic is whether or not the dentist properly sterilizes the tools. If its a restaurant I may end up with food poisoning but in a dental clinic, it can be something as serious as hepatitis (or worse). As a consumer, it is very very important that I can be reassured that the tools are clean and this is a near certainty when I visit Comfort Dental. I have received a few treatments and have gotten my teeth cleaned at Comfort Dental and I can say that the process is very comfortable (top ~2% of all clinics I visited). Staff pay very careful attention to you to make sure your treatment doesnt hurt and that your mouth isnt too dry. The staff will turn on music that you like to make you feel comfortable (internet based). This is how far the staff will go to make you feel comfortable. One of the things that I really appreciated was the detailed explanation that Dr. Oh provided to us before providing treatment. A x-ray was taken of my mouth and teeth and the digital images were shown on a 40"+ inch screen. The large screen and the visual really helped communicate the issues very easily and I was able to comprehend the issues. I was very appreciative of that. Surprisingly for all the perks that you get, the pricing was not especially higher compared to other dental clinics that I visited in the area. With great treatment, moderate pricing, and attention to safety and cleanliness, I highly recommend Comfort Dental Clinic as your go-to clinic for your dental needs.

My trip to the Comfort Dental Clinic has been a great experience! Ive always had mixed feeling toward seeing dentists; many of whom either told me I have many problems or I have none. Trust has always added a shade to my white coast anxiety. Seeing through the large transparent windows of the clinic, I decided to give Comfort Dental a try. I went there for a general check up, with the hope of finding a dental practice I can trust. Not unusual for a young finance professional, trust is everything. Without doubt it was a good decision. My first minute of the visit was cheered by warm staff and cozy space. I had the choice to play my favorite music as I waited for my exam. What surprised me the most was the technology. They use what is called an intraoral camera, which shows the patient exactly what is seen in the mouth. My curiosity about my own mouth has never been so fulfilled. I could see the old fillings in my mouth as if I were meeting old friends.Furthermore, my dentist, Dr Kim, was super nice and patient as she explains to me the difference between stain and caries in my tooth. Only then have I begun to realize why different dentists say different things. I felt I could make my own decision rather than being told what should be done. This the marked difference I found at Comfort Dental. I would totally recommend my own family and friends to come here for their dental care, especially my dad who definitely needs a lot of work done. As a side note, I an investor of many assets. My mouth is surely one of them. For my next dental visit and periodic check up, Comfort Dental so far has been a great one! Updated from 07/08/2015: Comfort Dental Clinic is now the new popular clinic where Dr. Kim works. Its in the same building as the S Dental Institute, which occupies the second floor. I just had my 2nd regular dental exam here. #dentalhome

Comfort Dental provides the consummate experience, excelling far beyond any other facility Ive gone to before. Immediately upon entering the office, it is difficult not to note the impressive modern decor, which alongside the friendly and courteous nature of the front desk staff, creates a comforting and peaceful ambience. More impressive than the decor is the advance equipment utilized at Comfort Dental. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they conduct CT scans with 3D reconstructions that provide superior imaging, especially useful when evaluating problem areas (such as my impacted wisdom tooth). Coupled with the expertise and professionalism of the dental assistant, I felt assured that all was being done to optimize my assessment and treatment. Traditionally apprehensive about receiving dental treatment, my concerns were completely and promptly assuaged moments of being introduced and evaluated by Dr. Nate. He was meticulous when analyzing my x-rays and CT scan and took great care and patience to make sure I understood what was wrong, what could be monitored, and what needed to be treated as well as the options available to me. More importantly, Dr. Nate never promoted excess treatment or subjecting me to unnecessary pain and discomfort. Aside from being professional and courteous, Dr. Nate is conscientious; and it is this innate trait of his that effortlessly inspires confidence and puts you at ease. He is certainly the doctor you want to see if you want continued quality and earnest care, and the doctor you should see to change your outlook on your dental treatment. Im looking forward to my follow-up treatment with Dr. Nate and the wonderful staff at the aptly named Comfort Dental.

I typically don’t leave reviews but I really wanted to support this practice given my experience with Dr. Oh. This review is for my last check up / whitening with Dr. Oh at Comfort Dental. Dr. Oh first did my implant surgery and crown back in 2010 when I lived in NYC, which still has no problems whatsoever. Since then I followed him to his NJ office for my regular dental care. Now that I have moved to DC, I go see Dr. Oh for a check up once a year at his NJ office whenever I visit NYC because it’s simply so hard to find a good dentist who really puts your health before their own interests. I appreciate his philosophy that “when it comes to the human body, if it’s not broken don’t try to fix it.” He never pushes treatment or recommends any procedures that are not absolutely necessary. I also like the fact that he always takes the time to thoroughly explain each procedure step by step. As for my check up and cleaning, it went smoothly as usual. When I inquired about teeth whitening, he didn’t particularly push for it saying it is an “optional” procedure, not a must (he’s super conservative for a younger doctor in his 40s...), but if I really wanted to do it, then he said he has a whitening product with protective fluoride in it so that it can make my teeth stronger and protect them during whitening. One of his associates, Dr. Skye Kim did the whitening for me. They gave me an Advil to take before the procedure began saying that there would be some temporary sensitivity and that the sensitivity is normal for any stronger dental office whitening. The sensitivity went away in a day, and my teeth look noticeably whiter. Overall, I remain a very satisfied and loyal patient.

I usually never write reviews but this facility is exceptional. I have been looking for a new dentist since last year and had some lukewarm experiences with other dentists in the Fort Lee, NJ area, which is saturated with poor performing dentists. I was lucky enough to meet Dr. Oh and made 3 visits to his office to get a crown fitting. On all 3 occasions, there was virtually no wait time when I arrived at the office. The office is very clean, professional, and Dr. Oh uses state of the art equipment which is all very new and of the latest model. The front desk is extremely courteous, well organized, and friendly. Dr. Oh spent his time with me and was patient with all my questions and answered them articulately in laymans terms and in detail. The dentist assistant, Angie, is also extremely attentative and caring. She made sure my procedure was very comfortable. Finally, the price and value is unbeatable. Dr. Oh cares for his clients and plans for the long term. He only uses the best materials and worked with my insurance company to minimize my out of pocket payment. He is an honest professional and does not charge unreasonable prices. With Dr. Oh you will know everything during the first consultation and will be on the same page from the start. I highly recommend him.
