I moved to this Willamette Dental because I am a bicycle commuter and its much easier to get to. I had preliminary treatment for a root canal at the Tigard office (Dr. Megan Coker and her staff are wonderful), then was sent to to Weidler office to have an office visit and enroll with the doc. As I was called back into the doctors space, I saw this shabby looking person with tattoos covering (from shoulder to wrist) one of his arms. I figured he was the tech or the janitor, then turns out he wants to take a look in my mouth and he is the dentist!!! I was mortified. The exam lasted a total of 4 minutes. Not a chance in hell someone like that is allowed to perform any kind of procedure in my mouth. I kept waiting for him to impress me as we talked and it didnt happen. I consider myself self an opened minded person, but I expect my DENTIST to be dressed appropriately. His tattooed arm tells me that he is unconventional, that he takes risks etc. I dont want someone tinkering around in my mouth that I dont trust. If it werent for the fact that my insurance is exclusive to Willamette Dental I would never go back here. If the appointment schedulers are going to schedule people blindly with this person, then have them go into the office and be slightly offended, then have to reschedule and start all over with another dentist..Not cool, and a total waste of time. Avoid Willamette Dental when you can, if it were a tattoo shop, then fine. A grocery store, okay. But a professional doctor of dentistry, come on!

This is the worst dental company EVER. I just had an emergency (tooth cracked while eating) and was told by operator #4 that they would not call in an emergency visit for me because I have not been seen by a Doctor at Willamette Dental Group yet. Well....I have only have this insurance for 6 months and havent scheduled a visit yet. The insurance requires I go to this horrible place, and yet they are refusing to help me in an emergency. I will be filling a complaint with the BBB, Attorney Generals Insurance Division, and cancelling my insurance & going back to Delta Dental where they care about you. The operator was extremely rude and hung up on me, and SHE was a supervisor!!! I am going back to my dentist (who I just called and will see me tonight) and sending the bill to Willamette Dental. What a crooked operation.

Dont use Willamette Dental as your dental provider. When I arrived for my appointment I waited almost an hour over the scheduled time for the dentist - even though I was one of the first appointments! He recommended filling a tooth, and when I asked if it was the same tooth I recently filled and if so, shouldnt I contact my last dentist about it and he or the dental assistant said "what does it matter, it will be covered by the insurance anyway". They told me to schedule another cleaning in September, but I had to wait for the dentists notes. After another 10 or 15 minutes of waiting, I said I would call in to make the appointment. When I called, they told me that the dentist wouldnt see me again for another cleaning until April, so the "coverage" you get is very minimal and VERY unprofessional.

Willamette Dental is an HMO policy that has dentists that do not perform well simply because they do not have to, because, where else are you going to go? NOWHERE! My dentist performed a procedure without my consent without informing me and billed me for the entire procedure, that in the end, did not work and got infected. But what am I to do about it since I cannot go anywhere else. Customer service states "sorry we cannot help you" "sorry you feel that way" This just blames patients and takes no responsibility for anything.

Very happy to go here for my dental work. Ive never had to wait for long, theyve always been on time with my booking. They seem to do more through work then my previous dentist, and the people are friendly and easy to talk to. There isnt much privacy because of the layout, instead of having a private room youre separated by walls. However, its never been an issue especially since all I can see is the ceiling most of the time.

The first time I went here for a cleaning, they missed a cavity on my lower left canine that my mom and girlfriend (both dental assistants) could easily spot. Then I had to point it out the next time I was there before they would give me a filling. By that time it was a visible hole. I just cant trust them if they cant spot a visible cavity in the front of my mouth.

Do not go here. This place is a scam. They gave me incorrect insurance information (told me I could receive services which I was not eligible for) and then refused to assist me in getting the money back and would not lower the prices to a "non-insured" rate. Now they have me with a collection agency charging 9% interest. I really, really hate these people.

I cant say enough good things about this place! Got me right in. Determined I needed an extraction. Very thorough! Dr. Evans and my new Dentist Amy Anthony were wonderful as well as all staff!

Best dental experience Ive ever had in my life. No pain. Focus on preventive care as opposed to selling me expensive unneeded crowns. Love them.

Front desk and service staff are wonderful. The dentists are errogant and less than helpful. Avoid this office, especially if you are in pain.

This is the worst dental office ever and they charge $20 to have your records/films sent to a new dentist!
